Do you remember South Park? For those of you who don’t, it was an adult animated sitcom that aired on Comedy Central starting in the late 90’s. There would be several seasons and even a theatrical released movie, but one of these episodes was so disturbing it became lost to time. However, I recently stumbled upon a VHS tape of an episode titled: “MrGarrison.AVI” crudely written in sharpie; I found it since I’m an intern at Comedy Central and was going through a dumpster outside their studio’s building. I took it home with me and after I took a massive shit, I inserted the tape into my VHS player. There was a menu with a creepy looking image of Mr Garrison, the gay teacher, standing in a dark room that was only lit by a single flame.

Mr Garrison looked so real, like he was hyperrealistic, and him and Mr Hat were looking down with a neutral expression, but I could tell something was wrong. I touched my TV screen and I swore I could feel him through it; when I touched his eyes, I felt something wet, like it was his tears.

The menu only had one option that read: “MrGarrison.AVI” in a dark red color and hellish font. I selected it and an episode began. The episode started with Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny standing at the bus stop as usual. After a few seconds, the boys said:

Stan: “Mr Garrison is kinda stupid and gay.”

Kyle: “Yeah, he needs to stop or he’ll join the rest of them during the end of time when all who has gone against the Lord burn for eternity.”

Kenny: *muffled*

The bus then came and they hoped on it. The episode cut to them in Garrison’s class and they all stared at him with pure hatred; their pupils turned into a flame as they all spun their arms around like a helicopter and flied straight at Garrison to attack him.

Garrison: “Aaah! Get the hell away from me!”

Garrison then ran out of the classroom and hid in a corner in the hallway. He could hear the boys’ loud helicopter arms fly closer, only to then be quiet as they left while Garrison’s heart was beating intensely.

Garrison: “I need to get out of here!”

He ran out of the school and didn’t look behind him. He got in his car and drove home. He sat on the couch panicking. In just seconds, the boys found him and repeatedly tried to break through his window, slamming against it like a bird. Garrison quickly went to the basement and locked the door to hide. Stan eventually broke the window open and the rest flew around the house to find Garrison. It then cut back to Garrison; he was in a dark room only lit by a flame looking down, for he knew it was all over. The episode abruptly ended and ejected itself from my VHS player. I jumped from that but then heard a loud noise outside my house, the sound of multiple helicopters banging against my window. After I ran into my basement, I began writing this to warn you, the reader, one thing:

If you find a copy of MrGarrison.AVI,

Don’t watch it.
