Anxiety

it’s rough feeling this way.

you wanna do everything but you believe you’re cut short

breaking yourself down is often the poison of choice

you watch Grey’s Anatomy I’m stuck in a world of tragedy

and the craziest part? 

while I trudge through every mistake I've ever made in my life and play back every moment of my life where I hurt someone, embarrassed myself, and failed over and over and over and over again

I have to face that it’s nothing but an interior battle and I would have to smile and pretend that i’m not taking a blade and carving away at what I am

of who I wish to become.

I have to find love while hating myself everyday

and the people telling me that I have to love myself and the same ones that leave me with another recorded moment in my life to trudge through because they say i’m miserable.

I’M NOT MISERABLE

because I wake up on most days brush my teeth take a shower and practice my smile in the mirror....I love my smile

I count my blessings before I walk out the door and I go to work everyday and I make people’s lives awesome

I smile and I laugh, I acknowledge beauty and beauty sees me; but I know what’s going on inside of the walls of my mind and the things they cannot see about me that would essentially ruin their lives and possibly turn them into another memory.

I usually stay away and if i’m feeling brave i’ll say just the right things, but just a second too late. at least I got a smile out of her

the biggest punchline of it though?

I work in sales, I ask people about their lives all the time and i also ask people for their numbers,  i just could never do it for someone i like

i’m so scared of hurting other people that i’m reluctant to fall in love and add to the body count

after typing that, yeah i’m miserable
