I threw together a music video!

It’s for Part VII of my electronic album, Vortex.

Very much a mood piece, full of retro-filmic visuals.

I think it’s my favourite track from the album.

Full of German poetry, vintage synths, tape techniques, naff organs and drum machines.

It's Bandcamp Friday! So what better day to announce that my new album drops in 2 weeks!

Spiral To The Center is unlike anything I've released before, Prog Rock, Psychadelia, Ballads and more. The album is a real celebration of the music of the 1970s and features performances from close friends as well as talented musicians across the globe.

It's also the soundtrack to the film that Alisa Stern @doctorpuppet and I spent the last year making, all about records and mystery. We're looking forward to sharing that too! In the meantime, keep an eye out here for information on pre-saves as I get it, but the album will be available directly from me via Bandcamp on Friday 18th August.

My entry for #DotCompetition2023

It’s called Centerpiece and all sounds are generated or processed by my “Dotcom” modular.

This actually sums up that whole era of Doctor Who:

a) Having a genuinely cool, interesting idea.

b) Not really having the means to achieve it.

c) Having a bloody good go anyway.

d) Ending up with something endearingly naff.

I love the music of Classic Doctor Who. Just- it doesn’t fit the circumstance at all! The Doctor is being kidnapped here! And the music is just the BBC music guys just doing their own thing. I love it with all of my hearts.
