"You seemed pretty normal to me" Medina smiled "And yeah, I think I've heard of it. It sounds familiar."She scanned over the menu and decided on what she wanted. Digging through her pocket, she pulled out just enough money for it. "I'll be right back, okay?" She told Jackson before going up to the counter to order. After ordering herself a sprinkled vanilla cone. Medina stood on the left of the counter, while others ordered, and waited for her ice cream. She was excited that she was here with a new friend, making friends was always a new experience for her. She didn't have many friends back home, she only had her siblings and a few farm animals.

One of the workers handed her her cone and then Medina headed back to the table. "Oh my gosh I think they gave me too much haha I can see why you got a headache!" She laughed while trying to keep a steady grip on the tall cone. Medina licked the ice cream and a bit from the tip of it got on her nose. "Oops! My nose wants to eat this ice cream for me haha" She giggled while grabbing a napkin. "So, Jackson, do you like it at St.Elenour? Gonna go to the dance this Friday?" She asked, trying to make conversation.

Jackson smiled and shrugged. “You don’t need to worry, it’s okay. I don’t really look like a blind person really, mostly because my eyes look normal, at least that’s what people tell me, I wouldn’t know what normal is.” He walked with her, using his cane to guide him. He seriously hated to have to use the cane, because sometimes he hit people with it and they got really pissed, but he knew he had to or he would end up bump into a person or a post. Jackson smiled when they finally reached the ice cream shop and sat down in front of her, nodding. “Yeah I’m good. I don’t want anymore ice cream, at least not for today.”

Jackson stood in silence while Medina was choosing what she wanted to eat. She seemed like a really nice and cool girl, even if she acted all crazy, which Jackson found really funny. Jackson stared down at the table and smiled. “Oh I’m from England. From Doncaster, not sure if you ever heard of it. What about you? Where are you from?”
