this isnt something id normally talk about on here but i felt it needed to be said. i lost a dear friend today to suicide and my first thoughts were "what could i have done better?" just know that if youre in my situation, being their friend was almost certainly a great help, you reached out and you made sure they knew you were there. and if youre thinking about attempting, just remember that youre someone's kid, someone's world, someone's friend, someone's everything. and i know its cliche but if you have notes to write, then you have people who will miss you.

so i was just looking through ao3 and ive been noticing a trend of people genderbending one half of either a f/f or m/m couple to make them straight which?? completely defeats the purpose of the ship?? genderbending one half of a queer couple is essentially saying well yeah theyre gay each other but like what if they were normal? why genderbend one person just because you dont like that the couple is queer

guys can i just say that i LOVE it when we do nicknames for characters that you think would be 4 letter but only have them as 3. for example: castiel from supernatural is normally called cass but i jump for joy when i see cas in a fanfic. and, god forbid i bring him up, but the brighton biter, wilbur, used to always be called will but i loved seeing wil. it just makes them silly little guys in my opinion. and he doesnt count but honorary three letter is jon sims who i refuse to call john
