I was listening to Francis Forever by Mitski and thought "Hey, this could be Sierra's song". Something she would play on some kind of talk show, two or three years after the show.

Not as a shipping and not as unrequited love, that's not how I read, but more like fighting your own emotions. Logically, understanding what's wrong, but at the same time struggling to contain within. Constantly choosing between the Id and the superego.

I have this idea of power swap due to a bunch of YouTube videos (mostly Java the cup), but usually when I see other interpellation characters archon indifferent elements, they also change their region or just a color swap( ok, I`m guilty of that too, consider it a first draft).

Ok, I can yap a lot about detail and symbolism. I'll try to be short. You don`t have to read.

Mondstadt, being the land of knowledge, is because the real Mondstadt has this strong feeling of a fairy tale and Arthurian legend, like Venti being a bard. Bard is another form of a storyteller, and fairy tales are the oldest form of carrying wisdom through generations. Now, he, being a catalyst, comes back to the idea of the legend of King Arthur taking the role of Merlin. He is the first playable character we met, like it's usually portrayed old wizard meeting the chosen one. Also, apple being a symbol of forbidden knowledge, yknow.

Sumeru being the land of eternity. The whole archon quest was about time loop, wheel of samsara, and reincarnation, and Nahida herself can trap others in a repetitive dream. I think it's self-explanatory. Also, fyi, Baʻal is a God of rain and thunder from Egypt, North Africa, and Halab, and Sumeru is full of different mechanisms and neuron power.

Kinda similar story for Fountain. Looking at the Fountain Quest at a slightly different angle, fountainians want to be free from their oceanid past, being free humans, thus being a nation of freedom. Also first hot air balloons were invented in France, and the Rococo style was all puffy, resembling clouds.

Oh, actually, I did draw them.

They were supposed to be on the same post. Just couldn't find the right space for them in the first draft, and the more I look at the sketch, the more I think: "Does it look like my drawing? How can I be more consistent?" etc.
