Kaddoura Calligraphy Signature My general signature for my work. The logo of my company. Some may ask why so many variations of the signature. A few things to keep in mind while signing an artwork: 1: Does the signature go with the script? Not all scripts can be combined into an proper artwork. Any artwork that has multiple script from different styles are usually pieces to showcase the scripts and not meant to be an art piece on its own. That's why you don't usually the Thuluth script or Nastaliq script with the Maghribi Script. So having a signature that compliments the artwork is very important. 2: How big does the signature need to be. Learning does not stop after attaining the ijazah. It goes on and on and on. The only thing that changes is the way of learning. After attaining the ijazah, referencing becomes something compulsory when trying to improve one's writing. Jewels like this manuscript are just priceless for this type of learning. It's not easy find new references, but when i do, researching and learning will definitely be hours on end. Finally finished the 2nd draft of the Du'a Khatam Al Qur'an. I did 2 live sessions. Actually 3 but then my phone died, so it didn't save. No worries, at least the draft is done. There are a few things that need to be tweeks and moved around but hopefully its not too difficult to do inshaAllah. Thank you to those who attended the live even if it was only a short while. Sarah, my first daughter, is a very girly girl. She loves everything pink puts hearts and eyelashes on all her drawings whether they are princesses or dinosaurs. 😏 She's a bit different from her brother in which she will go into my room even though I'm not there, and she will draw and draw and draw some more. But then, like her brother, when shes done drawing, she will take the scissors and start cutting up everything and leaves me to clean up alllllllll the little tinnie tiny pieces of paper. If it's on my desk, it's my mess. If its on the floor, it's either Ibrahim or Sarah😅. Um Ibrahim One of the many names for my beloved wife. We have been thru thick & thin and we always managr to get thru every challenge together. 6 year of marriage and 4 kids, I couldn't imagine a life without her. A couple days ago was hear birthday so I made this piece for her. Its a combination of modern line art with the Thuluth Maghribi script inspired by works of @majid_alyousef . He really inspires me with wonderful ideas with his art infusions of Arabic Calligraphy and what we would consider modern art. May Allah keep you healthy. Dr. Maria Tiscareno is currently the doctor for a good family friend, Uncle Aziz. Uncle Aziz was diagnosed with a very rare type of cancer in 2020. Dr. Maria has been his doctor sonce day one and as Aunty Shafinaz, wife of uncle Aziz, has mentioned many times, she is a close friend, a sister to both of them. Aunty Shafinaz asked me to design the artwork for their beloved doctor. It was pretty tricky trying to write the name phonetically since there could be a number of combinations since the name isn't Arabic or Arabised. Uncle Aziz is going through chemotherapy for the cancer. We ask Allah to give Uncle Aziz recovery and make easy all the endeavors of Uncle Aziz and Aunty Shafinaz.
