Oh, to be a many legged critter, scittering and digging my way beneath the moss, submerged in the moist soil. A dark but safe place. Weaving around roots. Hunting for food. Hiding in the vegetation in the place above, while I explore a world much bigger than my species could ever imagine.
The life of a human is much more complicated than that of any centipede. Or any arthropod really... it would be relieving to have a day where all I need to worry about is hiding, hunting and exploring.

"It/its", in the same way you would use it to refer to a creepy crawly bug that crosses your path. 🪳

Terms I came up with for anyone interested :
• Arthrotherian or Arthropothrope : Someone who identifies spiritually or psychologically as an arthropod (consists of insects, centipedes, crustaceans, and several other species classificafions).
• Avianthrope : Someone who identifies spiritually or psychologically as a bird or avian animal/creature.
• Aquarianthrope : Someone who identifies spiritually or psychologically as an aquatic animal/creature.
• Draconianthrope : Someone who identifies spiritually or psychologically as an dragon or draconic creature.
• Amphibianthrope : Someone who identifies spiritually or psychologically as an amphibian.
• Reptilianthrope : Someone who identifies spiritually or psychologically as a reptile.
To be continued...? (If any suggestions)
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
For those who wonder why I shared these, therian is okay as a term. I just wanted to suggest additional terms to describe the same way animals are in biology.
Therianthrope as a term comes from the word "therion", meaning wild beast/animal (according to most, usually refering to mammals) and "anthropos" meaning human/man. So beast-man. Before the alterhuman community, the word was used in history to describe a being or person that could shapeshift into an animal and back into a human.
For the terms that i shared i used some of their classifications like "arthro" and added "thrope". Therefore, arthropod-person. 🦂

It's interesting that I initially talked about getting little to no arthropod mental or phantom shifts.. the last few days I've been rememering many moments throughout my childhood and even adulthood where I may have in fact been getting insect phantom shifts and mental shifts.
As a centipede I still don't seem to truly get anything big. But I keep feeling an extra set of arms, which isnt new, but i never associated it to insects.
It feels pretty mantis like, which is interesting enough to me! I'm not claiming it to be anything special. Im arthropod and insect-hearted. Cameos and shifts are common. 🪲

Dreamt the other night that I laid centipede eggs. The whole thing was a bit feverish and bizarre. But I especially remember holding my eggs in my "arms".

Am i the only person who hates the word kin? Kin-this kin-that. Bugkin. Catkin. Dogkin. I think it just sounds like a silly nickname. 😂

I want a term for bug therians in the same way prehistoric therians do (paleotherian).
Something like... arthrotherian (arthropod = a scientific class that insects fall under along with arachnids and crustaceans), or entomotherian (entomology = science of insects). 🪳🕷🦂🪲🐌🦋🦗
EDIT - Since this is getting lots of attention. Ive started using arthropothrope. This is for all species under the arthropod umbrella term. And thrope, NOT therian, since "theria" usually refers to mammals (historically). And arthropods are mammals. 🦂🪳🕷🦀🦗

There are many ways to experience our non-human identities. My favourite way, is to go out and spend some time with them! For me its easy, since I'm insect hearted! I identify with insects of all kinds. Cicadas are one species I especially feel close to.
This year we have tons! The annual species like the Say's Cicada (in the photos), and two species that are 13yr and 17yr cycle types. Its a rare occasion. But i have yet to find them. ( ´Д`)ノ
Here are some photos i took just the other day. The cicada most shown below stayed on my hand for over 2hrs. Not sure why he did, i even tried getting him off onto a tree. He later flew away after some encouragement though! (^o^)/
