Bandit puts up with so much it's no wonder he's a good dad. Dude gets hit in the no no zone so much and puts up with so much sass from Bluey. I love Bandit so much
#bluey bandit#Bluey show#mumdadbingobluey#Welp looks like I have a new dad character to idolize and want as my dad lmao

I love Bluey for its honesty in how kids feel and it's one of the few shows I've seen where the parent actually acknowledges they've done something wrong and apologize and work their way through the problem. There's no blaming the kid for how they feel either. Just like Fairies. Bandit didn't say "Look kid, I'm sorry if I ever hurt your feelings. But the way you pulled my tail trying to get my attention from my work call caused me to yell at you. I wouldn't have yelled if you didn't do that."
Instead he said "I'm sorry if I ever hurt your feelings. It must hurt when your dad does that. Just know that I love you and would do anything for you." There's no blaming or trying to justify hurting Bingo's feelings and he did exactly what Bingo needed to know he's sorry. And I hope genuinely apologizing when you're wrong as a parent becomes a norm. There's too many shows where the kid is the one to blame for their emotions or it's a half hearted/empty apology.
