Hello! Just wondering if The Passions of Alejandro trilogy is based off a real series in An Experiment? Also, I loved this story so much and just recently reread again.

Funnily enough, the Passions of Alejandro was a joke idea that my friends bounced at me when I was trying to title the book. The potential for Alejandro sequels was strong - the confessions of Alejandro, the curse of Alejandro etc etc. It was ridiculously fun to throw around.

a plea on behalf of authors with works in progress

I know people “hate” WIPs and “don’t usually read/comment on them” because “it’s so frustrating waiting for updates” and “what if it never gets finished?”, but let me just say something from the point of view of someone who has written several multi-chaptered fics over the years, including one that has sat unfinished since 2010:

It’s lonely. It’s a huge investment of time and energy into a project that you hope people will like, but most of them will never tell you until it’s finished. It’s easy to get frustrated. To feel like no one cares, or is paying attention. To feel like giving up, or shelving it for later.

Encouragement along the way is like rain on the desert for writers of WIPs. Knowing people are excited about your story, and eager to see what happens next. Your questions and your love can light a fire under a writer, keeping them going when they might otherwise feel like maybe it’s not worth it. Your feedback might even give them a new idea when they are feeling stuck.

So take a risk. What’s the worst that can happen? You get to read something you enjoy, even if it’s unfinished. Balance that against maybe being the reason something does get finished, after all.

Things about fandom interpretation of Kakashi that annoyed me to no end and I can't believe no one ever set this straight :

Kakashi did NOT ACCIDENTALLY killed Rin.

Rin (and Haku, for the record) deliberately jumped on his Chidori. Do we ever read a news about someone jumped in front of a train with headline "Breaking News! A Train or Whoever Run The Train Accidentally Killed A Dude!"? If someone jumps in front of a car, will the rider accept if people said "hey, you accidentally murdered a person"? Seriously fandom, I know that you all like to make fun of Kakashi but this is ridiculous!!

Thank you, this always bothered me because he did NOT kill Rin, not even accidentally and Kakashi is the victim here because he was intentionally used as a weapon without any regards of how that will leave him or do to him, he's the one who had to suffer for over 20 years because of it and then came Obito and kept blaming him for it when he knew pretty darn well that it was never Kakashi's mistake, god I was soooo mad watching that during the war arc, and then at the end Obito joins Rin and she tells him how proud she is of him and live happily ever after in the ninja heaven and no one ever addresses that again, no one tells Kakashi how proud they are of him or that non of what happened was his fault or that he doesn't need anyone's forgiveness because HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG IN THE FIRST PLACE!

Thank you for the ask 😊 there's so many panels of Kakashi from the manga that I love actually but if I'd have to choose just one then it's the cover of chapter 16

I love all the details here, it just felt like a sneak peek to Kakashi's private life.. the pictures of his teams, old and new.. Mr Ukki.. the fact that we discovered that he is actually wearing a necklace that we don't usually get to see under his uniform, the Henohenomoheji on the wall, the books, the alarm clock... the weird pipes and how it's wrapped makes me wonder if they broke or were leaking on his head while he was sleeping until he had to wrap them like that lol.
