hot take: lets call stuff by its proper names, if your sketchbook is full of finished art and especially if its all on theme, that's an artist book. don't sell yourself short and give other people unrealistic standards.

Hello everyone. I have finally finished my crochet tapestry that took 7 months and spanned 1 stressful move, 1 new job, and like 4-5 depressive episodes. So now I’m going to bother everybody about it for like a while.

Absolutely rude how when you knit a piece that has consistent increases, it takes longer and longer to finish a row.
Sure at the beginning it's wonderful. Don't have to cast on a million stitches. You blink and you've done like 10 rows.
But watch out!
A little later and it's suddenly taking 84 years to finish one row and your wrists are tired and you only have to knit another inch or two but it will take approximately 5-6 business years.
