I LOVE your sherlock & co sherlock design (the loc'd one)! Do you have a Mycroft design in mind? I've been enamored of the idea of pod Mycroft as nonbinary, fat, and Profoundly Unconcerned About What You Think.

Thanks for the ask!
hey so I saw this and immediately opened up procreate,,, realised I’ve never actually drawn my design for Mycroft. Here they are…,,,I am a gender queer Mycroft truther ❤️

Spoilers for Scandal in Bohemia :)))

John??? John why are we so serious??? Everyone is alive right???

LOVERBOYS??? Also love that that's what John is focusing on

No way he's already accepting that

Hehe Sherlock in the floor like a rat. Ratlock

It's reflective of Irene herself. Her personality (when she's not actively trying to sneak away) she's a little snarky and sarcastic, she flirted with Milverton for money(?), her schemes to get Sherlock and John off her trail are dramatic and manipulative. This is the view Sherlock specifically had of her. But that's not who she is. Her 'Mimi' is her son, she gives up her elaborative life as a pretty well known opera singer and even a potential life of royalty or wealth to run away and live a normal life. She takes off the mask of who she is perceived as.

Glad Sherlock can see exactly what he's doing

'dear companion' is crazy work. The subtext is subtexting

Did she take the data with her???

Honestly, I do like this as an ending. Irene isn't a bad person. She is not trying to be mastermind genius. She doesn't want to be another Milverton. The line 'I love and am loved' is definitely going to come back to haunt us, I can just tell. Also love that she puts Sherlock is with Milverton and Ormstein, because he really hasn't treated much better.

The transcripts honestly don't do this line justice. The utter disbelief (and awe?) in Sherlock's voice when he realizes she outsmarted him. He thought he was two steps ahead only to realize that she was five steps ahead.
I'd imagine a version of keeping Irene's photo here would be Sherlock watching the recordings of Irene. He doesn't even hate her for this, he just can't believe it.

I don't have the skills for this, so anyone else can do this. But like. imagine an animatic post Final Problem John with Goodbye, by Bo Burnham. I've had this rattling in my head for some time now, specifically the lines, 'Does anybody want to joke when no one's laughing in the background?' and 'when I wake up in a house that's full of smoke, I'll panic, so call me up and tell me a joke.'
Might write it as a song fic if I have the time

Is it weird to say that even though I like how Irene is handled, and I think her story is interesting... Her voice just makes her sound overly sarcastic, to a point where it just sounds like she's bluffing about everything.
#i tend to have tonal issues#so that might also be what this is#she also just sounds like what I'd imagine a stock image woman to sound like#still love her though#sherlock and co

Ive seen such a strange phenomenon where before the Wicked movie, most fanart looked like this
And after the movie, it seems like there's a conscious effort to make Glinda look like Ariana grande, even if it doesn't fit the art style, so it just ends up looking like this
#gelphie#wicked#wicked the movie#wicked the musical#elphaba thropp#glinda#galinda upland#for the record there's nothing wrong with this#it's just a little silly

Really love the idea that Mystrade could be canon in sherlock & co universe. Like I want bitchy government employee Mycroft and Dame Gwendoline Lystrade, Commissoner of the Metropolietan police service. It would explain Gwen and Sherlocks sibling like banter.
#wait this is so genius#this explains everything#i see the vision#bonus points if mycroft is a girl/not cis

Holmes Family headcanons (it's mostly about Sherlock and Mycroft)
Both Sherlock and Mycroft are IVF babies.
Mycroft is exactly 7 years and 6 months older than Sherlock
Sherlock grew up upper middle class/lower upper class. Not filthy rich, but very comfortable with a lot of connections. It's mostly generational wealth.
His parents were really well intentioned, but also really busy. They left both boys to their own devices for the most part. They were raised by a nanny.
Mycroft was diagnosed with, ADHD and OCD when he was in primary school and was switched to a specific special needs school. Sherlock wouldn't be diagnosed until his late teens.
No one actually knows what Mycroft does in the British government, Sherlock knows he has a lot more power than he's letting on.
Mycroft and Sherlock were really close until Mycroft went to university.
When Sherlock dropped out of University, he didn't tell his family but Mycroft knew. He tried to confront Sherlock about it, and Sherlock blew him off.
Mycroft basically raised Sherlock. It was Mycroft who first made Sherlock a bowl of penne pasta during a thunderstorm when he was 8.
Sherlock learned his deduction skills by watching the way Mycroft read people.
His parents have no idea what happened to Sherlock. Mycroft covered up his dropping out. They wouldn't be disappointed, but they'd pity Sherlock.
Sherlock still sends messages to Mycroft. He is well informed about both John and Mariana.
Mycroft listens to the podcast.
Mycroft calls Sherlock 'little lock' mostly as a tease
#sherlock and co#sherlock & co#sherlock holmes#after the new episode#thought id dig this out of my drafts
