Listen, as someone who's favorite movie of all time is the Wizard of Oz, seeing the OG OZ gang with Dorothy's book canon silver shoes makes me fucking cry with joy.

Never in my life would I ever thought that I would see Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion and Toto again on the big screen.

I’m gonna say it. The musical lion? Sucks. Like ok, explain to me, lion, how you would have fought that battle yourself. You were an oversized kitten in a cage. Tell me, lion, how you think you could have gotten out of that and “fought that battle.” Because I don’t think you, a little baby puffball, could have done anything. We knew you were a coward, lion, but a liar too? I hate you. You owe Elphaba your loyalty and you know it. No wonder you’re a coward, and it’s entirely your own fault, nothing to do with Elphaba. Why changing glinda's dress color is not a good idea:

It erases the visual cues of her development. After the first act,both her and elphaba's outfits reflect their impact on each other,with elphaba wearing purplish magneta and glinda wearing blue,just like elphaba's first outfit

Pink and warmer colors in general are meant for first act!glinda,representing her bubbly and energetic personality while the color blue shows her maturity and her inner sadness. The movie dress just looks too cheerful for her current state

Come on now who on their right mind decided that the bubble dress wasn't perfect enough and downgraded it to whatever grande is wearing

In all seriousness I understand that they're trying to pay homage to the original wizard of oz movie but glinda's dress serves an important part in the narrative,it'd be really disappointing if they just got rid of it

I know this is not likely to happen but allow me to describe my dream Idina/Kristin cameo in the wicked movie

during One Short Day Elphaba and Glinda are exploring the city and pass by a pair of Emerald City women strolling together (enjoying their own day), the women look over their shoulder and tip their EC glasses down to look at Elphaba and Glinda as if recognizing them and it's Idina and Kristin. They then move along laughing to continue on their way.
