I know most people only cut people off for like. Big Things. Oh I was so upset so I cut you off. But not me. If I don't like you, I'm not going to be around you. And its not because I get super upset about little things. It's because I don't care about you.

Cutting people off is not a nuclear option to me. It is a tuesday. I do it every day. It is efficient to do it immediately. I meet people often. People like me easily. Love me easily. I don't need to keep every lump of coal I find looking for diamonds.

How about instead of acting like Your Drug of Choice is Holy and Special and doing it Doesn't make you an addict we instead push to be Normal about drug addicts and drug addiction and not make it out that if you are a drug addict then you have to stop doing drugs.

I know its scary because you think if you admit to being a drug addict you think they will take your drugs away but you kind of need to in order to manage the reality of your situation and not be a fucking holier than thou dick to other addicts!

I need people to understand you can get CHS from doing weed once a month. It's rarer but it can happen. I'm sick and tired of hearing from doctors and fellow potheads alike that you have to be crazy or stupid to do enough weed to get CHS.

I hear this from people doing weed every day like. You are well well within the amount it takes to get CHS and you are still acting like its stupid? I know you think weed is a magic drug that can do no wrong ever but it does have side effects especailly since they breed it up to have higher concentrations of TCH. This is why I rather hang with crackheads since even if the drugs we use/d are different, they at least understand drugs have side effects and don't act like its your fault you got sick.

I also need people to know that weed relieves CHS symptoms. The reason a lot of CHS havers are doing a ton of weed before they realize they have CHS isnt because thats the amount they would do anyways, ITS BECAUSE THEY NEED A HIGHER AND HIGHER AMOUNT TO NOT FEEL SICK. They already developed CHS from the lower weed dose they were using, they didn't get it because they are Crazy Weed Abuser. CHS makes you increase your weed use incredibly quickly because you go from using weed when you want to get high to needing to be on it to not feel ill, and to be able to eat at all.

And when doctors talk to CHS patients like they are some kind of dumb ass for abusing drugs, acting like we just Want to be on weed all the time, it makes it feel like they really do not understand the situation so OF COURSE we don't want to listen to their CHS diagnoses. What, you want me to stop doing weed?? The only thing that makes me feel better??? CHS approached without the understanding of Why CHS havers do so much weed is going to lead to people refusing to stop doing the weed which will lead to worse CHS.

And doctors are horrible to drug addicts in general, I'm used to that, but it's fucking sickening when your own community treats you the same way. I get treated like I am some kind of crazy drug addict for doing the same amount of weed as the person accusing me just because I got sick and they didn't. (Assflash newshole, we are both drug addicts. Accept that and start treating your fellow addicts better.) At the same time, often by the same fucking people even though it's completely contradictory, I get treated like some kind of straight edge outsider who hates weed and wants you to quit if I try to warn them about CHS.

I don't want you to stop doing weed. I want you to be able to Keep doing weed. I wish more than anything I had been warned so I could still do weed. I understand some people need weed medically. I need weed medically but now its not an option for me.

I am warning you so you can keep weed in your life. I am not the stinky condescending doctor asshole trying to take it away. I am a fellow drug addict. And yes, you need to stop being a prick and admit to being a drug addict and stop acting like other addicts are gross bc they do more or a different drug than you.

Saw in the notes you guys say this also applies to 'selfishness' and absolutely. It also remknds me of how adults (and im an adult. But im thinking of when i was a kid) will be like. Respect me and ill respect you. And they are pretending its the same thing. But they mean respect me as *an authority* and ill respect you as a *person* and if you dont reat them like *an authority* they wont treat you like *a person*.

So im like fuck you im not afraid to be disrespectful. But i mean im not going to treat people like an authority when they want me to to treat me like a person. Im still gonna be respectful in that i treat people like a person.

i think sometimes we say we're mean but actually we're not mean we're just protective. abusers will convince you that the things you do to protect yourself are meanness in order to make you stop protecting yourself, so it's a kind of reclamation to be like "no i am mean. I will not be afraid to sound rude and push you away and not give you everything you want if you treat me badly. I am not afraid to be mean." but then if you look at what's actually happening you were just protective. And they were the only ones being actually mean.
