hey, yeah you! the angry ones, the aggressive ones, the violent ones. cm'here i got something to say to you.
hey there...
the ones who get irritated really quickly and snap at the wrong person.
the ones who get angry quickly but it goes away quickly, especially when the ones around you don't get over it so fast.
the ones who first thought is to hurt the one who caused you this anger, or just the first person in sight.
the ones who direct their anger at themselves.
the ones who direct their anger at their environment instead of themselves or the people around them.
the ones who get so angry their body burns with heat, causing the anger to worsen.
the ones who get so angry they flip the numb switch and can't feel anything for a while.
the ones who act on those violent thoughts.
the ones who hide their anger and bottle it up over and over again until it explodes.
the ones who can't tell their anger apart from other emotions.
the ones who get stuck in their head due to their rage.
the ones who spiral when they get angry.
the ones who get even angrier when you let yourself spiral cause of your anger.
the ones who get angry over the littlest thing.
i see you, and despite all of this you are still worthy of being loved. worthy of being seen as an equal. worthy of being cared for. worthy of being treated as another 'normal' person.
i love you (/p). your anger doesn't define you, even though it might seem like it does.

shoutout to the plurals who are too dissociated, confused or blurry to ever tell who's fronting. shoutout to the plurals who struggle to identify their headmates or know how big their system is. shoutout to the plurals who don't have well-defined headspace or one at all. shoutout to the plurals who lose more time than they remember. shoutout to the plurals who are doing their absolute best

One thing I hate more than people outright saying that endos are 'invalid' are the people who are like 'oh they're just in denial of their trauma if they're really systems!' because it's so backhanded. It's painted as though it's in good faith, but it's still denying the existence of an entire group of systems that they clearly don't want to understand. It's condescending: "it's okay, you're just in denial! You'll figure it out soon!" It's a downright wolf in sheep's clothing situation. Even if it's certainly possible for an endo system to realize they're actually mixed origin or even strictly traumagenic, it's so pretentious to assume every endogenic system is just a traumagenic system in denial or they're faking.

Fronting experiences!
1. The helicopter parent
Alter just pops in out of nowhere uninvited and starts giving opinions on what you're doing

You're struggling! Quick gatekeeper! Throw a motherfucker here to help!!
4. The corner whisperer
You don't even notice they're in front with you until you hear them whispering from a corner all of your darkest thoughts
5. I'm coming for you bitch
You say 1 thing about an alter and then you can hear them sprinting to front, too late, he found you!
6. Positive hyperfixation trigger
Oh no i mention bees, now the little is fronting and babbling non-stop about them!
7. "ACTSHUALLY ☝️🤓"
You make one single mistake and THAT motherfucker comes out of nowhere to tell you how wrong you are, THANKS JACKASS
8. Party!
A lot of alters just front cuz something fun IS happening!!
9. Party! /Neg
A lot of alters just front cuz something horrible IS happening!!

🦴⛓️; One thing I don’t understand is how in some plural spaces there’s a rule like “littles must be accompanied by a big/caretaker!” As if we have control over that?
Usually our littles front alone. They can handle themselves, though (as long as Scout stays quiet, because pups voice is SO different and high-pitched and pup can’t mask pupself). Idk just fronting isn’t something especially disordered systems can control, sometimes non-disordered systems can’t either.
Offline we have our partner system who is great at calming us down when we’re triggered, and their own caretaker will front for our littles. I’m sure most other systems (especially those around our body-age) have their coping skills?
Idk it’s just a weird rule! Weirdly controlling over other systems! I haven’t seen anyone else talk about this and it’s really strange.

a past therapist explained to us that plurality is extremely common in trans people because we are very used to having to live alternative lives in order to stay safe, or keep things quiet and live relatively peacefully. whether or not that person dissociates or develops trauma doesn't really matter, from a young age we start living several lives-it only makes sense that many of us adapt to live as many people.
