I've just noticed something. Compare these images of Muriel in their Heavenly uniform and the feathers of this nightingale.

The skirt and the feathers are the same, stiff and straight across at the tail. Muriel's skirt is longer in the back to give the look of tail feathers. The color of their uniform is the same as the nightingale's breast. There are pops of color, sure, but I think that's just to signify they work under Saraqael.

I think Muriel, the supposed nobody of Heaven, is going to be the nightingale that brings our heroes together in the last installment of the show.

How do you feel about this cuz I’m appalled Muriel is an angel. I feel like anyone that has that take is not a real fan

Thanks for bringing this up! All the belittling of Muriel bothers me too. I think there might be undertones of anti-Autistic bias in it, because a lot what we see Muriel doing is trying to function in an environment where the social rules aren't obvious to them. Saying someone like that is annoying and helpless is... well, I can't think of any *good* explanation for an attitude like that, let's put it that way.

The angel thing is a good point. I've seen this same attitude with (the very Autistic-appearing) angel-Crowley as well and it's like... um, hello, she CREATED A NEBULA? <<

Just because they are cute, do not underestimate them! They could both kick our asses 😅

And no problem! We welcome all bad (and badass :) takes as submissions. I actually at one point toyed with the idea of changing our name to @badgoodomenstakes, because really our raison d'être is to call out bigoted takes in the fandom in general, rather than to plug for any one specific character. :)

[ChillOmenstober] Day 19: "St James Park"

Muriel had a rough day in the Bookshop and needed some fresh air. Crowley brought them in St James Park for a stroll. Seems like our little sunshine angel found new friends there - and Crowley too.

Did you know? Some many animals in London Parks! Birds and ducks and swans of course, but squirrels, foxes, owls, and pelicans too!!

In which Murial takes over the Supreme Archangels bookshop and finds a giant snake. A collection needs a guardian! they reason. They are subsequently very confused when Coffee Human and Record Human don't have animal guardians for their collections.

Crowley, who is not only not talking to Aziraphale but ANYONE at this point, makes no effort to correct them. And maybe a part of him enjoys their one sided conversations.
