I'll be honest, my biggest takeaway from the sneak peek wasn't, "Yes Pen, read him for filth!" It was, "Oh Pen is totally shame spiralling out of control." Because yes, Penelope has every right to be upset with Colin and tell him why she is upset, but most of the emphasis in this scene is on just how much Penelope hates herself. She doesn't believe Colin when he compliments her dress (a direct parallel to scenes Pen has had with Marina and Edwina in the past), she calls herself a spinster even though she's only 19 (I'm willing to bet Portia refers to Penelope as a spinster at some point before this scene), she assumes Colin sees her as an embarrassment, and again she points out that even though she managed to change her wardrobe, she is still a laughingstock.
This whole scene does way more to demonstrate Penelope's insecurities than it does to paint Colin as someone who needs to grovel for forgiveness. If anything, Colin is handling the situation maturely. He openly communicates his feelings, he doesn't deny what he said, and it's clear he wants to work through the issue.
Penelope is so unhappy with herself that she's taking it out on him more than she should. It's easier to blame him for the one thing he said rather than force herself to look inward. But I think once Colin comes to her again with his plan to help her find a husband, this is going to shift. Penelope will be put in a position where she will have to reflect on those insecurities and Colin will be the one with her on that journey.
Which brings us back to Nicola talking about Penelope putting Colin on a pedestal. He might be off of that pedestal after what he said last season, but she still doesn't view him as a fully flawed human being yet. Once Penelope forgives Colin at the end of 3x01, it's going to open up her eyes and allow her to see Colin as a full human being and as her equal (not as her idol). This is how we get "You're my mess," and "You're the imperfect man of my heart."

"Need, z-ziraphale..."
The demon pleaded, his voice a barely there hiss. Death embraced Crowley with care, cupping his head with skeletal fingers, handling the ancient creature, a being older than time, like a newborn made of expensive porcelain.
"Oh, Crowley."
The concept of mortality sighed. The sigh was cold as wind through dead cornstalks and felt like hopelessness.
"I'm afraid you're dying."
In Heaven, a book was opened.A delicate, dignified hand began to apply golden liquid eraser to a slightly burnt capital "C".
"I had thought I would still be quite mad at you, given your part in canceling the End Times. Alas, I'm not the best at holding a grudge and it's impossible to stay angry with a being so single-minded. To be angry at you for your actions in the apocalypse would be like raging at a Snake traveling on its belly. Fighting to remain on Earth is simply in your nature. Perhaps She always planned it that way."
An "r" and "o" disappeared under a deliberate coat of shining magic eraser; Crowley's vision was going. Death held his boneless weight effortlessly.
"I feel no sadness in doing my job Crowley. I have my own nature to deal with."
Crowley had a passing fancy that he should speak, but the drive quickly disappeared along with the a "w" and "l" in the book of Life. The light in the Demon's eyes was flickering, guttering in and out with jack-o-lantern intensity.
"It's interesting. So, interesting... you're the first Demon I've ever collected with a hint of Her light still inside you. It's broken, but not beyond recognition."
Crowley didn't want to look at Death's smooth, grimacing skull anymore. He let his eyes close. He wished Aziraphale here.
The letter "e" vanished under an oversized blob of 24 karat liquid paper.
"I suppose you can't shatter the grace of someone who has such a big heart."
Death said with notable finality. He pressed a lipless kiss to the Demon's forehead, whispering some last, dusty secret into Crowley's ear.
The "y' was gone and with it Crowley's name from the book of life. Crowley slept like the unborn, tucked tightly in void, thoughtless in the folds of Deaths cloak.

Soo just wanna talk a bit I guess
It's about good omens I know, I know. Half of the fandom is in mourning 'cause of Aziraphale and Crowley in s2 ep6 but I just want to do a character analysis of both for some more added information (ig). Now, I don't know if someone has already done this analysis or not, but fuck it, I'ma just do them anyways. I think we can look at Crowley first since most people do relate to him more than anyone else. In season 1, we are introduced to the fact that Crowley is the snake from Eden. That in itself makes him very important, but in season 2 episode 1, his importance rises so much. We find the fact that they were the ones who geared up the universe, "Let there be light" and stuff, he also said that he worked very close with upstairs. In the final episode of season 2, he could also open a confidential file that could only be accessed by a throne, a dominion, or above. This means; that before falling, he was extremely important/had a high status (whether he was Raphael or not doesn't matter). Again, in the last episode of season 2, during their breakup, he says, "I understand it a lot better than you do." to Aziraphale when he suggests that Crowley go up to heaven with him. Crowley, in this scenario, knows what's going on. He has clearly seen what heaven is like, top to bottom. From Crowley's point of view, both heaven and hell do not understand that there doesn't need to be a war. That Armageddon doesn't need to happen. He has always seen things in grey, from the beginning. Questioning God and her plans; not fully abiding with hell, like, ever; doing whatever the fuck he wants. Now, before I continue, I think I should give Aziraphale's character some more context. I have been hearing about the coffee theory in the fandom. in simple words: Metatron put something in the coffee and manipulated Aziraphale to become the supreme archangel with it. it definitely is an interesting theory, but there isn't much proof I can see. Mainly because, we see their conversation (in bits a pieces, sure), and you can see Aziraphale acting normally. He's wary and concerned. But from the beginning, Aziraphale has always (mostly) seen in Black and Whites (contrary to Crowley). Even if he denies it, he does (it's hard to forget what you believed since you existed). The only person who's shown Aziraphale that, "Hey, there can be more than one option" is Crowley. Only with Crowley has he ever had the choices (not just good and evil). Even then, he believed Heaven is always good and hell's always evil (he has made multiple remarks about him being good and Crowley being evil, for example, in the flashback of the Edinburgh surgeon, he has made that remark. Even when they met in season 1, he said, "Well obviously, you're a demon." after Crowley said that hell just said to go up there and make some trouble). This in itself proves that Aziraphale always thought in black and white even when he tries to divert himself to not think like that. In his eyes, Heaven is good, and Hell is evil. But the angels and the demons can be in between those shades of grey. That Heaven is currently corrupted, and Hell, even more. He doesn't want another Armageddon, he wants heaven to understand what it means to be "good" (good in atleast his eyes). In very simple words; Aziraphale believes that Heaven isn't working properly/is corrupt and wants to/thinks that he can infact fix it, and Crowley believes everything is working the way it's supposed to since he has seen it personally displayed infront of him, since he has been a high ranking angel in Heaven. Or in much simpler words: THEY DON'T FUCKING TALK TO EACHOTHER.
If the both of them could've had a heart-to-heart talk earlier, it could've ended so much differently. Neither of them knows what the other feels and just assumes what they think the other one thinks. It in itself is a toxic mindset to have. They both didn't "break up" because Metatron manipulates Aziraphale or because Aziraphale couldn't return Crowley's feelings (man's (non-binary) literally fell first). It was because neither of them understood eachother. Aziraphale sees Crowley as a demon who wants desperately to be an angel (many indirect remarks have been made like in Job's arc and such) and someone who accidentally fell (which is true at some level). AND Crowley sees Aziraphale as a simple-minded angel who needs rescuing from time to time (which, again, is true at some level). They both are literally forgetting their own nuances and beliefs, and assuming what the other thinks because, say it with me, THEY DO NOT TALK. The reason Crowley felt betrayed was because he didn't realize that Aziraphale wasn't exactly who he thought he was. After all, Aziraphale isn't a simple character, he's a complex character with very strict (too strict) morals. And Aziraphale realized that Crowley really didn't want to go to Heaven OR Hell, since he always thought that Crowley only hated Hell, not Heaven aswell. So it was a shock to him. WHY? BECAUSE THEY DON'T FUCKING TALK TO EACHOTHER. So, when people say that it's because of the coffee, it pisses me off a little. It practically refuses the idea of nuances existing within these characters. Listen, if it's actually because of the coffee or Metatron doing/saying something sinister to Aziraphale, I'll take my L. But for now, I wholeheartedly believe that it was fully Aziraphale's decision to go to Heaven.
so yeah, that's all, I might add to this later, might not.

Discussing Crowley's S3 (potential) relationships
As soon as season 3 got confirmed, or even since Neil told us that one way or another he would tell its story, we as a community have wondered about how Crowley will interact with the different characters as he and Aziraphale attempt to once again prevent the end of the world, and finally resolve the barricade that has stopped them from actually talking to each other, which will allow them to eventually be what they are meant to be: together. While we know that Aziraphale and Crowley will end up together in a cottage in the South Downs, presumably in a garden, we don't know how we are going to get there. All we know of season three yet, especially since scripts are still being written as per Neil's Tumblr, is that Aziraphale and Crowley are currently not talking, that they will save the world and end up together. That's it, and that's all we're going to know for a very long time since these shows take a very long time to produce to the level of quality that we've come to expect from Neil and the team. That being said, we know that major character growth is going to happen for both of our protagonists. For Aziraphale, it seems safe to assume that he's going to learn how to be more independent and overcome his issues with his faith, which is currently centered in the institution of Heaven. Aziraphale's growth is going to be within his predetermined beliefs of what things should be vs what things actually are. Heaven should be inherently good, but it's not. Aziraphale should have no issues with the plans Heaven and Hell have concocted, but he does. That's what we can assume will push Aziraphale's story and character within the last season, and it's assumably going to be by himself. There aren't a lot of people who are going to be around him to help him in his journey outside of Muriel and eventually Crowley as they rebuild their relationship. Crowley, on the other hand, looks like his story will be primarily based on him building relationships with others and moving past his trauma. This seemingly will be through Muriel, Nina, Maggie, and then eventually Aziraphale. To best understand how these potential relationships, their growths, and even their conflicts will help Crowley grow as a character, it's best to look at them one at a time.
Let's start with Nina, the character that, on the surface level, mirrors Crowley. Nina and Crowley are parallels in terms of their personality. It's straightforward to compare the two of them and how they carry themselves. Both are protective and strong-minded and despite being tough on the outside, they have a lot of unresolved issues. It wouldn't be hard to believe that Crowley sees aspects of himself in Nina and vice versa. However, when we dig deeper, we see that Nina more or less mirrors Aziraphale in terms of her relationship with her abusive ex-partner. Like Aziraphale, Nina made excuses for how her ex-partner was treating her, often being manipulated into thinking she was the problem in the relationship. Nina knows what Aziraphale is going through and also knows how to put it in terms that Crowley will understand. It wouldn't be surprising sometime next season to see Nina talk about her experiences in her past relationship in a way that helps Crowley understand not only her past but also Aziraphale's. One of the largest roadblocks within Crowley and Aziraphale's relationship is that Crowley doesn't understand the relationship that Aziraphale has with Heaven because it's so different from his own. Crowley, since his fall, knows that Heaven is toxic. They can punish those who don't deserve it, and they, as an institution, cause a lot of harm. He knows that, has witnessed it firsthand, and has recognized the systematic issues that are constructed within the framework. In modern terms, Crowley has seemingly deconstructed, despite the fact that he still holds faith in God. This is a large gap from where Aziraphale is in terms of his journey and relationship with these institutions, something that Crowley has a hard time comprehending. He doesn't understand what Aziraphale's relationship with Heaven is really like and thus doesn't see Aziraphale's actions through the lens of someone in a toxic relationship. Rather, based on his prior experiences, he believes that Aziraphale could never love him or choose him because he's a demon; he's fallen. To Crowley, Aziraphale rejected him for the same reasons why God and Heaven rejected him: he wasn't good enough. Nina's storyline matches well to help Crowley understand where Aziraphale is coming from and why he has acted the way he has, and it helps him make sense of their situation. I believe that Nina will help be the person who gets Crowley to a place where he can help navigate working with Aziraphale to save the world through a close-knit friendship that we've already seen the fandom begin to speculate about.
Another interesting dynamic I'm excited to see develop next season is Crowley and Maggie. Like Nina, Maggie, at first glance, appears to fulfill the role of Aziraphale's parallel as the kinder, more cheerful member of the duo. However, as many others have pointed out, she's a better parallel for Crowley in terms of her role in the plot. Maggie is deeply in love with Nina. Unlike her past partner, she cares for her profoundly and respects her. With Nina and Maggie, it's a partnership, not a hierarchy. And like Crowley, she waits as long as necessary until the person she loves is ready to begin that relationship. Unlike Nina, I don't necessarily think that Crowley and Maggie are going to be the best of friends. Maggie has a lot of traits that Crowley will probably see Aziraphale in, such as her kindness, her affection for specific things like records or books, and the odd quirks that she's expressed throughout the second season. Those aspects of Maggie will both be comforting to Crowley since they reflect traits his own best friend had/has, but they'll also be reminders of Aziraphale. The two won't be attached to the hip, but they'll have this mutual understanding. Through Maggie and her relationship with Nina, which may be established by the time season three starts, Crowley might see glimpses of what he and Aziraphale could have if they worked out their differences.
That being said, there could be room for conflict and resolution within their friendship. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw, at least once, Maggie trying to talk to Crowley about Aziraphale and him pushing her away, saying she knows nothing about them or him. It wouldn't be unlikely to see him make some snarky remark about how he got abandoned the last time he followed her advice and tried talking. And it wouldn't be unlikely for this to lead to either Maggie or Nina confronting Crowley about how he reacts to things, inherently pushing people away out of anger rather than communicating, and how that probably drove Aziraphale away- most likely in the heat of the argument. While this may hurt Crowley at the moment, it could act as a springboard for some self-reflection needed for his growth and to complete his arch.
Muriel is also another character who may, and most certainly will, have a complex relationship with Crowley. I've heard a lot of people discuss these points, so they won't be new, but Crowley will be initially hostile towards the young angel before eventually warming up to them. Muriel will initially stand as a reminder of what happened between Aziraphale and Crowley. Crowley will look at Muriel, at them running Aziraphale's bookshop, and be instantly reminded of why Aziraphale isn't there. At least initially, their mere existence will be a reminder of Aziraphale's absence, and he will be furious at them for it. He will most likely use them to grieve the relationship that he lost, the one that got away. But I think there will be a couple of ways that Muriel helps Crowley along his journey. Firstly, in combination with Nina, Muriel will help Crowley understand where Aziraphale was coming from, even if his actions were misdirected. I think they will do this by displaying their newfound love and admiration for the world around them. As many have pointed out when discussing this potential plot point, this is Muriel's first time on Earth, and they are mesmerized by everything they see. They will be amazed by everything around them, even the ugly parts, and probably filled with questions about how the world works. This will resonate with Crowley, perhaps showing him aspects of who he used to be and helping him remember what this has all been for in the first place. Muriel will help him remember why he and Azirapahle saved the world in the first place and potentially give him the drive to save it again. Initially, like Nina and Maggie, I think Muriel will push Crowley and Aziraphale back together. Muriel is the only connecting point between Aziraphale and Crowley at this point, primarily because of their new role as the bookshop keeper. Through their role as this bridge for the two of them, Muriel will get them to reflect on what they love about the world and their love for each other. I would bet that Muriel, at least once, asks Crowley about his feelings for Aziraphale or points it out like Nina did, and I think that will cause Crowley to spiral into readmitting to himself that he did love Aziraphale that he still does, even if he's angry at him.
Lastly, Aziraphale. We already know that the beginning of their reconciliation is going to be a literal shit show. I am still determining how or when these two will find their way back to each other, which is primarily why this section is so short, but I have a hunch that it will be a slow-burn-ish subplot throughout the season. They're both probably going to be angry at each other at the beginning, but then put aside their differences to save the world. No matter what, through the help of the other characters and their respective relationships with them, the two will slowly find their way back to each other. I think it's going to be a season full of them essentially talking to each other in the ways that couples in couples therapy talk to each other, but I also think it's going to be a season of them falling in love with each other and learning how to express that love within their new dynamic. I think after years apart, under these new circumstances, they will be reminded of what they love about each other and the place of salvation their relationship has been for them. They will fall back into their banter, bickering, and longing glances, but they will get it together at the end of it all.

My Good Omens Season 3 Predictions
Based on the Amazon Playlist and Established Patterns in S1 and S2
I’ve been listening to the songs on the official playlist that Amazon released in December, and I’ve been thinking about it non-stop. It’s been long enough, and now I feel like I have a solid enough footing to have ideas about season 3 based on the information given to us by the playlist (especially the songs Neil provided). Keep in mind that this is my speculation only. I may be entirely wrong, this post may age poorly, but I am okay with that. At the end of the day, I know for absolute fact that I will be THRILLED with whatever season 3 actually brings (But please – for my sanity – let there be a happy ending for Crowley and Aziraphale).
Tumblr media
First of all, we know the season was outlined back in 2005, and I would assume (for the sake of this post if nothing else) that by the time the s3 announcement came, Prime had the general outline. And so, in the spirit of how this show does things, the playlist is full of Clues.
Tumblr media
GIF by fuckyeahgoodomens
I’ll put the songs in parenthesis as I go.
Between “Before the Beginning” and “In the Beginning,” i.e. Flashback 1:
We’re going to start the season with Crowley’s Fall (Midnight Rain). Neil has said that he’s not going to ever tell us Starmaker’s name, so I’m not expecting that. But we know that each season starts with a prologue, and we also know that these flashback mirror the current events. Crowley’s Fall makes a lot of sense to start with because it is the first thing that pulls him and Aziraphale apart. And where are we starting from in present day? The Divorce.
Tumblr media
How Are Crowley and Aziraphale Doing?
Bad (I’m a Mess). Crowley presents fine to the world, but we, who know him, can see he is struggling. I don’t know if he’ll actually go to therapy, but I would adore it if we got a glimpse of Crowley trying it and being like “NOPE” when it got too hard. He keeps expecting Aziraphale to walk around every corner, and keeps replaying the divorce in his mind (Just My Imagination).
Tumblr media
Aziraphale isn’t doing well either. The Kiss, and by extension his last conversation with Crowley plays on his mind all the time (Could’ve Been).
Very soon after the playlist was released, one of my Good Omens friends on Discord (I forget who it was, I am so sorry), suggested that maybe Aziraphale is communicating with Crowley through his dreams. Honestly, I am so on board with this. With the number of songs that mention dreams and daydreams in this playlist, there is no way that Crowley’s dreams and/or imagination won’t play some kind of role in this season (In Dreams, Just My Imagination).
Minisodes
The Titanic
I think the most interesting thing is that we’re going to have at least one minisode about them alone through time. It’s something that we haven’t seen before, and it parallels their current journey.
That being said, I think one of these will be the Titanic (My Heart Will Go On). Here’s how I see it happening:
Crowley is the one on the ship. He’s not there to sink it, he’s just there to enjoy himself. Maybe he plays around with the kids a bit, maybe he makes friends. Point is, the humans have built this supposedly-unsinkable ship of dreams and he just has to see it. He’s there when it sinks. Maybe he even tries to save people or get the other ships to come faster, but he can’t save everyone.
Heartbroken, he returns home to his dark flat. He doesn’t turn on any lights. There are two envelopes waiting for him. He sits at the table to read them in the dark. The first is a commendation from Hell:
“Great job sinking the Titanic! Downstairs are Very Impressed with your work, as always!” He scoffs and tosses it aside. The second one is from Aziraphale.
Oh great, he thinks, Just what I need, a little ‘oh how dare you drown all those people you evil demon you.’ when I’m already feeling like shit. He opens it anyway. The first lines read:
“My Dear Crowley,
I heard that you were aboard the Titanic when it sank. Are you alright?”
Crowley breaks down and cries. ~End Scene~
1941
The playlist has Heart and Soul on it, but not a recent version – it’s specifically one that was recorded in 1939. So we’re almost definitely getting 1941 Part 3.
Tumblr media
GIF by mimisempai
We’re going to find out what happened to cause their huge shift in dynamics from Date Night to 1967, and I think it’s a kiss. Maybe a kiss on the cheek? I’m not entirely sure. I do hope they get to slow dance to A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square though.
The Reunion
My friends, it will not go well. This is one of the songs that Neil chose – Cry Me a River. It just reeks of Aziraphale coming back and Crowley being (understandably, and rightly) being bitter towards him. Aziraphale will, eventually, I’m sure, get back in his good books, but he’s gonna need more than an I Was Wrong Dance to do it.
(Actually?) Saving the World
Okay so being perfectly honest, the only reason either of them are the lead characters in this series is because they’re so freaking loveable. They are very bad at their jobs. Anathema, Newt, and Adam saved the world in S1, and although the Husbands gave Adam a little pep-talk, I think he’s smart enough that he could have managed it on his own if he had to.
So, this time they actually need to save the world and have an actual plan. This is where I think a second body swap will happen – hear me out! First of all, remember that no one aside from Gabriel (who is Someone Knows Where), none of the angels or demons have figured out their trick from the first time. So I don’t think it is the plan, but I do think it will be part of the plan. Where am I pulling this idea from? The Show Must Go On, another one of Neil’s choices. It sounds like it’s from Aziraphale’s perspective, but Queen songs are usually associated with Crowley. Seems odd, right? Maybe because it is. Maybe because they swap.
Tumblr media
The Book of Life
I think we’re going to see The Book of Life, and I think it’s going to basically be The Book of Love. I think this is where we’re going to get the Main Thesis. The Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything, if you will. Love. It’s supposed to be Love.
The Book of Love – another of Neil’s choices.
Epilogue
I predict they get their South Downs cottage (Neil said “not yet,” which implies it’s coming). And there’s also a wedding, though I’m not sure whose it will be (The Book of Love). I REALLY hope that it’s Crowley and Aziraphale, because they deserve that kind of happy ending, and Neil is too much of an Ally not to realize how important it is that they get to Live Happily Ever After.
One Last Thought
I still have no idea what to make of I’d Rather Go Blind. That’s it. That’s the last thought I wanted to share that doesn’t really fit in anywhere else.
Thanks for going on this journey with me. Let’s make our Bingo cards and see if I managed to get anything right in 3-4 years.

Is Crowley a Time Traveller?
Look, I know this sounds crazy, but...what if?
What if he has been living the same six thousand years for much longer than six thousand years? Millions, even?
Tumblr media
If any Good Omens character could travel through time, it would be Crowley, who we already know can stop it.
Maybe the clock in the background of this scene,
Tumblr media
and the hourglass in this scene,
Tumblr media
are telling us that Time is important.
Maybe the Doctor Who references aren't just for fun
Tumblr media Tumblr media
but to remind us of David Tennant time travelling?
Maybe the differences in Crowley's sideburns and tattoo placement are actually to signal that these are different iterations of the same Time Loop,
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
or that Crowley has gone back in time to fix things, and Sideburns Crowley is from the future?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Which is why in Season 1, Crowley doesn't seem to recall the bullet catch incident when he points the paintball gun at Aziraphale, and instead speculates about what Heaven thinks of guns.
Tumblr media
Because by this point in his wibbly wobbly timey wimy life, Crowley didn't know yet. He hadn't gone back in time to fix things yet.
Though what needs to be fixed is currently unknown.
Was Aziraphale killed/destroyed/erased and Crowley needs to save him?
Was Crowley erased by the Book of Life which sent him back in time?
Was the entire universe about to be destroyed and Aziraphale once again demanded that Crowley "come up with something or I'll never talk to you again?"
(or "I'll never kiss you again?" or "I'll never see you again?" Various variations could work)
And Crowley's solution was to go back in time rather than freeze it?

“You’re decidedly not okay,” Simon said. “Talk to me, Wille.” He reached across the space between them, gingerly taking hold of his hand. Well, fingers actually. Simon was still holding the key to his locker. But it was enough. Simon’s fingers were soft around his, gently rubbing his knuckles, and it felt like a lifeline.
Wille let out a deep breath. Simon had made him realize that it was okay to be honest about his feelings, even if it made him feel vulnerable. Even if all his life, his family had told him to keep it to himself. “I don’t know if I can do it.”
Wille returns to Hillerska for the first time after his speech at the jubilee. He and Simon get ready to face the crowd (or their classmates) hand in hand. Or: a short story of two kisses. One for them, and one for the world to see. (aka my take on the library scene) (one-shot, rated T, 1,644 words)
Just in time for the new season: my take on the library scene! very excited to see how close I got lol. I wrote the majority of this around midnight on Friday night through that massive still storm, and the last scene a bit later when those clips dropped.  Thank you to the lovely @thehanwen for beta reading (and doing it so quickly) 💜
Please enjoy!

"Ready to Go Home, Angel?"
So I've worked all my life off and on on drawing, and I'm still not where I want to be, but this fandom makes me want to be so good so I want to show you some progress pictures. Here's what I finished today.
Tumblr media
Like I said, I'm still not where I want to be, but this is an improvement. And I'm also learning that patience is a thing I need to try to build up. I'm better when I take my time. I think what I finished today could be even better if I spent even more time doing it.
(also the idea is post S3 with Aziraphale and Crowley having won whatever and Crowley is Raphael cause I love that HC but he's still a demon dw he is not risen)
I also want to give Crowley more of a body, but that's a note to myself lmao Also I really wish I could have a good cartoon style rather than trying to force a realism. CRY
Below the break is the version of this I drew a few weeks ago (and here is the link from when I posted it before)

I have a theory about the photo of Benedict and Colin.
There are 4 glasses. I like to think, ABC take John out for a drink after he becomes engaged to their sister.
I like the idea of the brothers spending time with their future in law. Also it will make his death more potent.
Or an even funnier scenario would be the fourth glass is for Gregory who gets drunk for the first time and has to be carried to bed. Like a toddler on New Years Eve.
I like the thought of ABC getting to know John over a civilised round of drinks. I would imagine after the messy way Anthony went about supervising Daphne's season and now that he's settled down with Kate that he'll approach Francesca's debut with a far more lax outlook. With Violet and Kate doing more of the chaperoning and assuring him they'll guide Francesca accordingly, it would only be when her courtship with the Earl of Kilmartin gets serious that Kate would suggest her husband and his brothers go for a drink with John so they can get a measure of him for themselves. And rather than being uptight and overly hostile towards the man purely because he's courting his sister, Anthony instead gets to know who John is as a person in isolation from his romantic pursuit of Francesca. Then as the night wears on and Anthony sees just how well John gets on with him and his brothers, he pulls the young man aside and lets him know he has his approval should he wish to make Francesca an offer.

The story goes like this: one summer, a girl and her best friends end up stumbling into their own action movie. Turns out, Hollywood isn’t completely full of shit. Monsters can lurk in the most unexpected places, even hiding behind the face of your best friend’s father. Treasure hunts are, in fact, real and solving them feels like reaching across history. But they lie too, those movies. The shocking clatter of gunfire never becomes normal and it’s categorically impossible not to flinch at explosions and she’d really prefer not having to witness the near-death of every person she holds dear. Dessert islands leave you blistered and dehydrated. The ocean - that swath of tumultuous blue that has always been a safe haven - now taunts her every time the shock of blonde hair dips beneath it, as if to say I can reclaim him whenever I want. A roaring dirtbike slams her back to reality, forcing her to tuck that particular brand of escapism away for another day. The bright afternoon light is suddenly littered with the dust kicked up from JJ’s tires, making fresh tracks on the Chateau lawn. He lazily kicks out the kickstand, barreling up the porch steps in one giant leap before he even realizes she’s there.  The hand clutching his chest cuts deep within her own, surfacing memories of late-night panic attacks on the island, when they shared secrets under the cover of constant crashing waves and utter darkness. - Fed up with her post-Poguelandia house arrest, Kie escapes to the Chateau. It's not long before she's joined by JJ, full of quick-witted remarks and a surprising amount of affection. Together, they escape for just a few moments before the real world comes crashing in, just long enough for a few important revelations to unfold. Based on the recent S3 Jiara still.

“I Forgive You” Part 3
S3 Speculation:
The number 3 is important in Christianity and in storytelling. In Christianity it represents completeness and perfection; in storytelling it suggests that groups of three are more satisfying to the audience in various ways.
Crowley asked Aziraphale to run off with him three times. Twice in season 1, and once in season 2. Crowley has exhausted this set of 3 and will not ask again in season 3.
Aziraphale has twice asked for divine forgiveness on Crowley’s behalf. In Season 1 at the bandstand after he blasphemed the great plan, and in season 2 when he said he longed to kill Job’s children. I suspect we will get a third but likely one that’s in a flashback. I mention this only to separate divine forgiveness from Aziraphale’s forgiveness, which is what I actually want to talk about.
Twice, after being insulted by Crowley, Aziraphale said, “I Forgive You.” In Season 1 outside the bookshop, “How can someone so clever be so stupid?” and I don’t have to describe the second time, it lives rent-free in our heads. I don’t want to discuss the possible deeper meanings of that line in season 2 because it’s too big for this post, and others have already made excellent points on it. But I am positive we will get a third “I forgive you” in season 3 and I'm positive it WON'T be directed at Crowley.
I believe that as Supreme Archangel, that forgiveness could be given in some official capacity; perhaps towards an adversary, a "sinner", or even personally towards the Almighty given the right circumstances. But my strongest suspicion is that we will see Aziraphale say “I forgive you” to himself.
I suspect that he will have specific personal growth that will lead to some form of self-actualization. I think he will articulate his own feelings of inadequacy, or come to recognize previous actions or lines of thinking which he regrets, and be very hard on himself until he comes to a point that he is able to acknowledge it in a healthy way and move past it. In that instant I think we will get our third, complete and perfect “I forgive you.”

Due to contracts, I don't really buy into the idea that this season will end up having ten episodes. HOWEVER, given that filming went on longer than expected for season 3, I do wonder if some of the episode lengths will be expanded. This would explain why Netflix felt comfortable splitting the season into two parts. The potential of that kind of has me excited? My biggest worry for season 3 is just how much it has to resolve. I don't want them to rush through important character beats because of that. Even just a little bit more time might help alleviate that concern.

This talk of Lestat's "marriage" got me thinking - not that I believe this alleged extra, lmao. But I wonder if s3 will explore the homophobia of that time, with Lestat's family (except Gabs) and/or the wider community reacting negatively to him & Nicki? The book never "went there" but the show might? I do think he'll be older than 20 when he leaves for Paris in this version, so weirdly, there could be some social pressure to marry - I doubt there'll be a serious female love interest tho!
Yeah, tbh, that would be the only setting that could fit for this setup. As others have noted, gay marriage was illegal, and there is too much going on already for another love interest (I mean, there's Nicolas, Gabrielle AND Armand??).
So....

This is stuck in my head now, so here you go
Some Angel: ....like a peedoh-meter
Aziraphale: I'm sorry, like a what?
Some Angel: You know, a peedo-meter. You DO know what that is, right? I mean, you're supposed to be The Expert on Human Things after all.
Aziraphale: I'm afraid I rather don't.
Some Angel: Expert my wings....it's a thing that humans use to count how many steps they take.
Aziraphale: Ooooooh. You mean a pedometer!
Some Angel: I'm sorry?
Aziraphale: Well that's how you say it. Pedometer.
Some Angel: Are you sure?
Aziraphale: Yes. Quite sure.
Some Angel: ......sorry, I don't see it.
Aziraphale: *SIGH*

A random observation about clothing choices in Good Omens
As a first note, I would like to say that I'm not new to Good Omens fandom, but I'm new to Tumblr, so it is quite possible that the following has already been noted here and I just never saw it.
I have noticed something regarding the color contrast between Aziraphale's and Crowley's clothes. As we know, Aziraphale always wears white, beige, or another light color and in contrast, Crowley wears dark colors, usually black. The only time we have seen them both wearing opposite colors was at Warlock's birthday party in season 1, episode 1:
Tumblr media
As I understand, this was supposed to be a nod to the dots in the yin and yang symbol. The important thing is that they are still contrasting each other, just with reversed colors.
It had only now occurred to me that there was a time when this scheme was not followed: the flashback to 1941 in season 2, episode 4. In the scene where Aziraphale performs the magic act, he wears a black jacket (yes, he has a white shirt and vest underneath, but the general look is black). This is obviously due to his performance, like in the scene I mentioned above from season 1, but this time, Crowley remains in his usual dark look, so for this moment, they both wear dark clothes:

And they still do in the following scene in the changing room, when the act is already finished:

Afterwards, once the situation with Furfur is resolved, Aziraphale goes back to his usual colors:
Tumblr media
I suppose we could conclude from this, that Aziraphale only wore the black jacket for when he was "performing", and we can include the part with Furfur as a sort of performance, as he got to use his magical skills.
As far as I remember, these were the only times that Aziraphale wore any dark clothes. Now as for Crowley, apart from the opening flashback in season 2 (which I wouldn't count for the purpose of this little analysis because he was still an angel back then), the only time that he wore light-colored clothes was when he tried to disguise himself as an angel in season 2, episode 6:
Tumblr media
IMO, we can count his disguise in this episode as a performance, with some resemblance to Aziraphale's magic act.
This has happened away from Aziraphale though, so we don't get to see them both wear light colors at the same time like we did with the dark colors, the next time they meet Crowley had already gone back to his usual clothes.
That is it, basically. I'm sorry, I don't have any conclusion for this rambling, I was just wondering if anybody else noticed it and if you perhaps think that it might be relevant for season 3. (Sometimes, I think that every little bit is relevant and other times I think we are way past the point of overthinking everything.)
Does anybody else have any ideas? Will we perhaps get to see them both in white and next to each other? Or again in the reversed colors? (Or maybe in something wild like green and orange for a change? Nah, sorry, that one sounds too wild even for this show.)
