My blog is about prison and inmates. I don't condone the crimes for which they are accused and convicted. My fascination is with the uniforms, the setting and the impact it has on a human being. I collect uniforms and I role play for my own growth and interest. I blog in order to share it with others who have a similar fascination. I encourage discussion and willingly respond to questions.

Hello There. Is it possible to spend a night handcuffed (behind the back) in adseg? Not like it'd be hard with you poodle guard..but just wondering.
Well, the "poodle guard" statement leads me to only about six ex-convicts who know the story well enough or have the guts to antagonize Pitbull!!
In terms of handcuffed behind the back in Ad Seg........if you are that big a masochist, then be my guest. But heaven help you if you can't make it through the night because "the poodle" will have no sympathy!

Two inmates in court. Exactly the same restraint system on each but navy blue versus blaze orange jumpsuits. Juvie or Adult? Gen Pop or Ad Seg? Any ideas?

An AI created image of a Georgia Special Management Unit inmate walking down a corridor.
My thanks to PrisonLife for creating it!
My only critique would be that no SMU inmate would walk without escort and without full restraints. But the uniform, shaved head, and inmate demeanor are terrific!
This is so good, I had to share!

These two Georgia convicts are wearing the new SMU scrub shirt. Notice they are both cuffed behind their backs for mugshots! Epic!!
For any of you that don't know SMU is the euphemism for "The Hole" or solitary confinement. In other words, these guys are total fuckups!

A very nice cell with well painted bars and stencils on the outside. But the inside is a flipping mess! Also, noticing the twin bed size cot! WTF!!!

Going back in your cell.

Dark blue jail or prison scrubs on transport inmates. Nice personal restraints but no chain tether and no visible stenciling. Disappointing!
The very visible white triple stitched seams and the distinct LA CO JAIL look make this an awesome photo.

Hey there, your blog here is one of my favorites! Congrats on the new facility!
I have a closed down prison facility close to me here in NW Florida. It’s been closed for several years now. There were plans to bring it back online a few years ago but it didn’t happen.
Any advice to get something up and going for a role playing or prison guard training facility?
I’d love to work on getting it back up and running again in any regard. Such a waste to have a facility just deteriorating away.
It would be my passion to make it into the next Hampton Jail where role players get the full prison experience!
Cheers!

Send me a private message that I can respond to directly. I would be happy to talk pro and con and give you some ideas.

What would the process of roleplaying a nitrogen hypoxia execution at FCJ look like?
It would require only a designated room, a strap down bed and straps, a face mask and probably a Louisiana or Alabama DOC uniforms. ( we could also get by with Oklahoma or Mississippi) as all have hypoxia executions, but only the first two have actually done them.

I am inclined toward Mississippi DOC for the bright yellow jumpsuit and shaved head.
The rest would be simply a matter of role playing final lawyer visits, last meals, disposition of body and will writing. Then a march to the gurney and strap down and mask placement
I would go no further as nitrogen hypoxia is EXTREMELY EFFECTIVE and very dangerous! In addition, these types of role play are emotionally draining on everyone! So this would be a long process of deciding minute details.
I have been involved in almost every aspect of role play executions and I must admit the fascination is still there for me but the enthusiasm is waning.

The classic convict stance; hands resting on the bars as if a part of the body was free. But the reality is that your hands are just handing into a secure cellblock. And so not really free at all.

Banged up.

Hello, sorry to bother you, but a quick question are your recent posts the new prison roleplay facility in illinois? If so is there anyway I could visit it?

Yes. This is the future event space in northern Illinois. The plans for how role plays will be handled and a hard open date are still developing.
Feel free to Private Message (PM) me about future visits. It is a work site currently and is not open to the public

Convict needs a head shave and to shave off the beard! The cell looks like Ad Seg with a blank wall for a view and set up for meals in the cell.
Nice khaki scrubs, though I prefer jumpsuits.

Locked in.
