Just finished A Certain Hunger

Oh, Dorothy. How much of a woman you are. I will forever be your apologist. I wish some day I am as cultured, smart, elegant and canibalistic as her.

A hill i will die standing on is that picky eaters deserve respect and accommodation and to eat food they enjoy too. Sensory issues, disliked flavors, allergies, intolerances, cultural differences, religious restrictions, moral or political choices, they all deserve to be given consideration if you know you're gonna be cooking for them and to not be excluded from the fundamental right to food & access to the many important social bonding acitivities centered around food

Also I’ve literally said I don’t think I could ever be a cis man 😂
I would never want a dick
Okay I know it’s not just me, but I NEED to talk about this!!
Every once in a while my stepmom asks me what I’m looking for in my transition and I usually answer with somewhere between androgynous and masculine and I’m not really worried about passing or looking cis
She didn’t seem to get it which that’s fine but here’s my issue
She seems to think that I suppressed the want to pass due to my small town and my mother. Which I can understand where shes coming from. My small town is really conservative and my mom is… well my mom 😅
But also there was no need to turn this into a lecture or something 😅 like yes I’m traumatized but I’m also telling you I’m not worried about passing and I’ve never thought ‘traditional’ masculine clothing isn’t how I want to dress. Ive always been flamboyant, I’ve kept my hair shoulder length and I wear quite a bit of women’s clothing
Now yes cis men can and do dress or act femininely but I DONT WANT TO PASS 😂 I’m very open about being trans, I show my friends and my ex old pictures of me where I’m obvious born female
Also is this more common with gen Z? Is that why she doesn’t get it? 😂

Eventually we should start acknowledging that not even all binary trans people want to be cis, being a man or woman does not have to be cis-centric, we spoil the cissies enough by always making the narrative about them.

One of the problems that comes with being someone who experiences maladaptive daydreaming is the spiral my brain can take off down from literally anything. Another problem is I have way too many story ideas and no patience to write them. But I don’t want to give the ideas to anyone else because they won’t do it right.
