(I sincerely apologize for asking for requests, writing one shity thing and then vanishing for a year)

I enjoy imagining the big guy with heavy scar tissue embedded into his skin along with disfigurement on the his left leg, chest, shoulder and a large portion of his face as the result of a backfired spell.

Oddly enough it just makes sense to me that he would have Tonsil Hypertrophy, which in his case causes heavy breathing, coughing— which may also be due to the fact he inhales the smoke from the columns of flames he casts daily, as well as snoring

Whilst I’m on the topic of sleep I get the feeling that he happens to be the type of person who prefers sleeping on pallets rather than actual mattresses. The reason likely being not only because he holds a superiority complex over those who need to be somewhat comfortable to sleep, but also having more room than he would otherwise, meaning over half of his body isn’t even on the pallet, but the floor.

I don’t believe he ever went to school, most likely growing up with little money and his size not necessarily built for being scholarly, but rather for brawn and a solitary life filled with labor, nonetheless a small part of him deep down that he may keep locked away for the rest of his days— rests a chubby little boy sitting near a small lake near Aranshisre, skipping rocks alone.

It’s honestly comedic for me to think about him having exceedingly large feet, the reason not “solely” (get it?) being because he’s tall— in fact, no one is exactly sure why.. Perhaps he never hit a growth spurt he was supposed to..?

Last but most certainly not least I’ll leave you off with a rather simple one. His eyes. Deeply set eyes that push back into his skull and gleam a dead shade of hazel with straight eyelashes. Reverting back towards my mention of scarring, his left eye sags and is kept from opening fully due to direct contact with fire.

While the picture seems to reflect a handsome and well-adjusted student, Oswald had lost his remaining family the year it was taken, and would be homeless once term ended.

He would not last long on his own, and, the week of his 16th birthday, he would join the Ashwinders. He would never complete his education.

Ephemera's Revenge, Part 2

It had been the best day of her life.

Ephemera had become Mrs Rookwood at quarter past one that afternoon.

The ceremony had been modest and traditional. Only she, Victor, the Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot - procured of course by Victor's connections - and two witnesses from amongst the gang's lieutenants had been in attendance.

To say Ephemera was happy would be an understatement. She was beside herself with joy. Tears streamed down her pale, heart-shaped face. She couldn't believe it was really happening. All her efforts, finally come to fruition.

Her dreams fulfilled at last.

Their vows were brief, and within mere minutes, they were wed. There were no witches to compete for her bouquet, but Ephemera didn't mind - she had her man.

She squeezed the arm of her handsome wizard husband, and stood on her tippy toes to press a kiss to his cheek - his scruff scratching her lips.

And so they walked, hand in hand, to the portkey, ready to inaugurate their future together with a trip to Bavaria and then Prague (she'd insisted).

Victor took hold of her small hand in his larger one, his other arm about her waist, guiding them together towards a slithering, golden snake - a fitting symbol of their love, which formed an ouroboros upon their approach.

As her fingers brushed the cool scales, her whole body jerked abruptly, and in a moment she found herself tossed to the ground with an indelicate thud.

Ephemera opened her eyes and looked around.

The light was dim, the atmosphere dripping with darkness. As the witch pressed her palms to the floor to pick herself up, she cringed at the cold damp of the stone.

Perhaps they had apparated directly into a castle of some sort.

But her dress was all wrong, and, looking around, Victor was nowhere to be seen.

Ephemera rushed towards an unforgiving iron door, pulling at it desperately.

"Victor! Victor!"

She cried and screamed herself hoarse - her pleas echoing through the halls of Azkaban.
