It all began about two years ago, when a hatless version of Victor Rookwood began circulating in the fandom.

At that point, I'd already seen multiple instances of hat-phobia, so it came as no surprise when someone attempted to remove it.

Since then, there have been several additional attempts to remove the hat - often accompanied by extremely problematic anti-hat commentary, and inane modern hairstyles.

But today...

Today the detractors of Victor Rookwood's fabulous signature top hat will rue having ever insulted it. We will right long-standing injuries and wrongdoings. The universe will finally heal. 🌎🫂🎩

Allow me to present to you, my latest mod...

Top Hat Supremacy.

In order to avenge Top Hat Daddy's Magnificent Trademark Top Hat, I have placed it on everyone in the game.

That's right. Everyone possibly hattable has been hatted. No one has been spared (if you find someone spared, let me know because it's probably in error).

I have also assigned the man himself some additional hats - all of this completely out of spite and a need for vengeance.

Ominis? Hatted. Sebastian? Hatted. Professor Weasley? Hatted. Professor Binns? Hatted. Random NPC? Hatted. House Elves? Hatted. Et cetera, et cetera, ad infinitum.

Sad news 😞

I know it's been awhile since I made a proper audio, but I do have ideas for things I'd still like to make. Unfortunately, it seems Play.ht was acquired by Meta recently and is no longer functioning.

I've tried a half dozen other sites and have so far failed to replicate the quality that I got with Play.ht.

I may revisit my options in the future, but for now I don't expect to do any audios in the near term.

Ahhh the art! 💜💜💜 I had a lot of fun making this using my new Villainous Vestments mod. Seeing NFY and Oswald getting shitfaced at the Hog's Head is the greatest.

What can I say, I'm a sucker for giving dark wizards a spot o' nuance.

Things got off to a rocky start when NFY first joined the Ashwinders.

He was eager to befriend everyone but didn't get the warm fuzzies back.

It could be said that most found his antics... annoying.

Look, fellas! It's my 'tea' pose!

He had some difficulty adapting to workplace culture.

Um, excuse me, big giant sir.. Is that bloke dead?

Couldn't we just collect the fur without killing them?

He ended up spending a lot of time with the "cute doggie."

NFY was put on cleaning duty and quickly took to drinking.

Had he made the wrong choice?

Finally, one Ashwinder, Ernie, took him under his wing.

But NFY was still very upset that Mortimus would not give him piggy back rides.

Over time, some others warmed up to him.

They sought to educate rather than mock him.

Soon afterwards, NFY earned his full uniform.

He and Oswald became fast friends.

"Are you sure the boss won't mind us drinking on the job?" "Why do you fink he put a bloody bar in here, mate?"

And they sure did a lot of drinking.

Being an Ashwinder was tough work!

"So, what do we do now?" "Stand around just like this." "Oh. Okay."

He continued to do good deeds for the people of Highlands, but was sure to demand compensation each time. He had a quota to meet after all.

Sometimes he missed Hogwarts but...

.. not really!

Just realized that today is the two year anniversary of me publishing my first Victor Rookwood story - "An Accord."

I don't love it so don't feel obligated to read it but here it is. It's very short.

I did post three Hogwarts Legacy one-shots before then - two really shitty ones about Ashwinders and one featuring Sebastian & Ominis.
