The Heavy Metal by Pedro D. (Number 32)

Hi there..... So, we're talking about music right ?!...... Well, music is an universal language. When you sing a song or play an instrument, everybody can understand what you're playing, and everyone understands what the song is meanig........But, all of us like different styles of music........My favorite style is Heavy Metal.......Bands like, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Megadeth and Iron Maiden are the big ones when you talk about Heavy Metal. ‘Cuz they created an identity in their music. And they continue to create melodies that surprise many fans, like Metallica, for example, on their new album (Hardwired ...To Self-Destruct), with features they had when they started their careers. One of their new songs (Halo On Fire) is a combination of the heavy riffs with the simple and great melody of the band. I'm putting here the link of the new Metallica's song for you. Heyy guys! Today’s music style is kind of different/strange/idk

Okay, it’s kpop (oh really??¿)

Korean Pop is basically composed by boy groups and girl groups, but today i’m gonna talk just about the girl groups.

There’s so many girl groups on kpop. My favs are Blackpink, Red Velvet, Girls’ Generation but mainly... f(x)!!!

f(x) was originally formed by five members: Victoria, Amber, Sulli, Krystal and Luna (my precious bby!!!) but in 2015 Sulli left the group. But the other members continued as well as it was already.

Red Velvet (i mentioned them yet, right?) has a song called “Dumb Dumb” and, could sounds annoying for the most of the people but i have a ~special~ thing with it ‘cause it was one of the first songs i learned to dance (yeah, i’m a kpop dance cover sz) and i REALLY luv the music video full of colors, dance and joy. My favorite music style by Lucas (Number 26)

Hi guys, I'm here today to talk a little about my favorite music genre Hip-hop, I identify with this genre because it makes us think about what was and what were the North American peripheries and the influences we suffered for a long time, hip-hop is also very present in basketball. This subculture genre began in the 1970s in New York City's Jamaican, Latin and African-American communities. Hip-Hop has some essential pillars that make it not only focused on music, these pillars are: DJ, breakdance, Rap, beatbox and graffiti. Hip-Hop influenced dance and fashion as well, being the dance developed in different ways and places and were made by Latin Americans and blacks from the 70's, the fashion has a unique style, of Caribbean, Latin origin and African-American, the clothes used in hip-hop are generally wide to give greater visual effect and allow larger movements. Legion Style by Letícia (number 24)

My favorite style... Well, Meu Vagalume (a music site where you can rise your playlists too) define my musical style like 19% pop/rock, 17%rock and 12%alternative rock. So... Iguess I like a little rock (grins)!

And my biggest playlists (by one autor, ‘cause I have the Others playlist) is from Legião Urbana, and since I’ve been singing these songs since I’m child, let’s talk about they.

Legião Urbana emerged after na argument between Renato and a member from your last band Aborto Elétrico (later this, the band Capital Inicial would eventually arise), in 1982. The official (consider today) group was composed by:

*Renato Russo (Renato Manfredini Júnior)-vocal and guitar;

*Dado Villa-Lobos (Eduardo Dutra Villa-Lobos)-eletric guitra;

*Marcelo Bonfá (Marcelo Augusto Bonfá)-drums;

*Renato Rocha- bass.

 Faroeste Caboclo was composed in 1979, in the phase "Solitary Trovador" of Renato Russo. With more than nine minutes of duration, the song has 168 verses and has no chorus; Tells the story of the Northeastern João de Santo Cristo. Music also speaks of a land of unjust laws, an unjust country with its most needy population and the struggle for survival and rise at the cost of others, and in the midst of all this, the possibility of finding a love. Russo considered her his Hurricane. 

The album As Quatro Estações of 1989, is considered by fans, and by Renato Russo himself the best and most inspired work of the group. It is the biggest selling album of the Legião, with more than 1.7 million copies, considered the most "religious" work of the band. Be it in the conduct of the country, the public thing, the means of communication or in the sincerity and respect to the individual feelings, it took discipline, compassion, kindness and courage. My favorites by Mota (number 22)

The style of music that I will choose to make this text will be a style that I only saw a brazilian band do. A style that joining many brazilian styles and always his songs made for fun of the public.

Mamonas Assassinas are a band of "pop rock" with comedic songs that made a lot of success in the 90's and until today with his biggest hits that have become music of the soap opera, cheerleading (logical that adapted to have a connection with the team), and has even made appearances in comics of Monica.

And all this success with only 1 cd that ended up winning a diamond record (to see that the members of the band were really good), unfortunately the band ended up suffering an airplane accident, killing all the members.

Even though I was not born in the 90's I getting to know the songs of the band for the cd that I found in my father's car and so I had a good part of my childhood listening to all their music and addicting me hahahahaha

My favorite by Isa (Number 18)

Hey guys, what's up? I've to tell you about my favorite type of music, that would be very easy if I had one...hahaha I'm eclectic! But, the ones I enjoy the most is pop, indie, hip hop and a soft rock!!! My favorite singers are The Weekend, Oasis and Selena Gomez besides others that fit in this type of music. The song that I'm gonna choose is Wonderwall by Oasis. The style of the track is rock with a bit of britpop, and I chose it because brings me good memories about my life, the song also makes me think a lot about love and about someone who can save you. So, I'm pretty sure that if you have a boyfriend or a crush, this music will make you remember of this person hahaha besides that, the song is great to hear! 💙💙💙 Sooo, that's all... Hey guys, I’m here today to talk about my favorite type of music, I think it’s Rap. I like rap because it shows the overcoming of people living in the periphery and ends up improving life for their effort, shows the daily lives of people who suffer and criticize society because there is a lot of prejudice with blacks and poor people, tells the facts that happened to them.

I like to listen to Racionais, Their songs show the concern in denouncing how the destruction of the life of black and poor young people from the outskirts of São Paulo is a result of racism and prejudice, in sustaining misery directly linked to violence and crime. Issues such as police brutality, organized crime and state, as well as prejudice, drugs and social exclusion are recurrent in the lyrics of the set.

Hey guys, I'll tell you today about my favorite style of music, I do not have one that I liked better, just lately I'm listening to a lot of university sertanejo. My Favorite by Franciele (number 12)

Hey guys, how are you? What do you think gave me a little talk about my favorite style of music? The indie!

Well, the term “indie” came into use in the early 1980s, designating a musical genre generally associated with punk rock, rock and pop, originating in the UK and growing in the United States.

The most important thing for the ‘indie” is to stay out of the circuit of powerful record labels and the standardized market, which only targets sales and profits. Thus, it can be said that this denomination does not refer exactly to a particular musical genre, but to musicians and bands that oppose strictly commercial values. Although the ‘indie’ title was initially associated with the independent production mode, it soon became synonymous with alternative rock based mainly on the use of guitars.

Among some of the best known indie bands and artists are Lana Del Rey, Marina and the Diamonds, Florence and the Machine, Lord, AURORA, Halsey, Jake Bugg, The 1975, Arctic Monkeys, Foster the People, Monsters and Men, The Neighborhood and The Smiths, and I’m going to confess that the band I most love is “The 1975”, that band that makes you feel in the clouds while Hear it. What’s up? Liked? There’s no way I can not love indie music, right? Yo, hi guys. I'm here today to talk about my favorite type of music, I think it's eletronic. I like this kind of music because the melodic is so good, I don't care too much to lyrics, so this type of music is perfect for me.

Inside the type eletronic have so many variances, like trap, dubstep, electro, chill and so many others. Eletronic is not only hard beats or something that you can't hear without exploding your head, like dubstep, have styles like chill, that is more relax and slow.

and now I need to choose one artist, so it's Marshmello. Marshmello is an electronic music producer and DJ. Idk why, but I like so much how he produce her musics, it's not too hard beats... so it's very good to listen and my favorite music is FinD Me, have no lyrics and the melodic is very good.

My favorites by Daniel (Number 8)

Hi, I'm here to talk about my favorite type of music. I haven't a favorite style of music, but what I chose to talk about is the pagode. I chose this style of music because the pagode identifies a lot with soccer, which is a sport that I practice, just as basketball identifies with hip-hop. The pagode is a style derived from samba that was created in Rio de Janeiro in the late 1970s from the tradition of "roda de samba". The singer that I chose was Thiaguinho, who became famous when he was part of the group exalta samba, but the group split in 2012, so he decided to continue his solo career. A song that i like of this singer is "Ousadia e alegria" with the participation of the Brazilian soccer player Neymar, I chose this song because it shows the connection that the pagode has with the soccer. My favorites by Bah (number 4)

Hello hello, guyssss About my favorite kind of music? Okay, I don't have a preference about this, I'm almost eclectic... but at the moment, I'll talk about pop! After all, my idol is the prince of pop kkkkk Anyway, pop is an abbreviation for popular. This kind of music is eclectic and has influence of several genres. Pop is catchy, so consequently, is the most commercial music genre. I'm gonna put some examples of pop music. The singers and their songs as a base, actually. Okay, we have my idol, Justin Bieber (Love Yourself), Selena Gomez (Who Says), The Chainsmokers (Closer), Ariana Grande (Side to Side) and Fifth Harmony that now is just Fourth Harmony ): (Worth it). About the singer that I have to choose... Justin Drew Bieber! (WOW CHOCKING, RIGHT? kkkk) He's a Canadian singer and songwriter. He's 23 years old and started his career with 15, publishing videos on YouTube. He was discovered by Scooter Braun and Usher. They signed a contract with Justin, starting his career as a Pop singer. And the song I choose is "Fall", by Justin Bieber hihihi I think that the lyrics, the melody, and the romantic sound makes me pick this one. oh, hi there... so, I've to tell ya guys about my favorite type of music, right? Here we go, I DON'T HAVE ONE!!!! but I have to choose one and talk about it. Okay, I choose Indie. When I say Indie, I'm referring to all kinds of Indies... folk, rock, pop etc. People say that Indie it's not just a type of music, it's a lifestyle too... and I have to agree with them. Nowadays, a lot of people I know have this "underground" style. It's like a fever on Paulista Avenue HAHAHAH  So, coming back to the music.......

I'm gonna tell u guys some indie bands that I like. Starting with The Neighbourhood, Arctic Monkeys, The 1975, The Smiths, The Strokes, Twenty One Pilots (their music travel in many genres, not just Indie), Lana Del Rey, Melanie Martinez, Troye Sivan, Marina and the Diamonds etc.

I have to pick a singer and one music now. The singer I'm gonna pick is The Weeknd. He’s a canadian R&B singer and musical producer. Yeah, he's one of the best for me and his music is too good to choose just one track.

And the song I choose is A Little Piece of Heaven by Avenged Sevenfold...... YAS, I know that it's too different from Indie and The Weeknd but what am I supposed to do????? I'm ecletic!!!!! About the music, it is my favorite in the moment, it's considerate a little too much because of the lyrics and the videoclip....... I've to admit that is heavy, but what makes me like this song it's all that instruments behind and the sound. It's like a symphony!!!!!
