Yesterday I was lucky enough to see the opening performance of ‘Great British Bakeoff The Musical’. I wasn’t expecting much when I went in but it was amazing! It was hilarious but also heartfelt and really captured the essence of the show and why everyone loves it. The actors were amazing and each character was properly fleshed out, there were even several quite emotional backstories. It was so much fun and I think I smiled through the entire show. All around it was a musical filled with so much joy that I would see again in a heartbeat!! I hope it gets picked up for a longer run so that more people can see it. Now I just need a cast recording!!
