Feminism - finally a trend I’d like to follow.

Or…..A trend I like to lead. 

A few years ago it was rather dangerous to mention feminism in an interview but now Beyonce has it written in gold letters behind her and feminism is now….not the new thing because it’s been a thing for ages but I reckon it is now the new religion. Even though a lot of people still can’t stand it…

There are many ways to view it.  

I became one of the boys. It was easy for me and I liked the hard climate because I’m a no bullshit kind of type.  And there were always boys around everywhere anyway. I both played ball and slept with them. But I started to miss my feminine sides. They are so important if you want to feel good about yourself. 

My dad is a bit annoyed about all the yelling these days for equality, since my mum already earns more than him and has been his boss for many years. Both at work and at home. So what’s the prob? 

But feminism to me is so much more that equality between the genders. 

It is…

-to acknowledge that kindness is a strength, not a weakness. 

-to realise that caring is cooler than not give a fuck. 

-to get used to the idea that we need leaders with big hearts rather than small dicks. 

-to want to erase the extreme hunger for power only frustrated men seem to be able to work up. 

-to at least consider people’s wellness before your own wealth

I don’t think women should rule over men. But I think the feminine qualities is gonna save the world from going under. 

So I tell myself, stop being such a bitch. 

Start caring.
