I think Bridget coming out as trans makes complete sense for her character tbh. like her whole thing is that she was raised as a girl cause of her village’s superstition regarding twin boys being a symbol of misfortune, so she becomes a very successful bounty hunter and disproves that superstition and finally can try to live a more masculine life style. but like she doesn’t actually feel the happiness and satisfaction she thought she would feel afterwards. She finally has the time to think about herself and realizes that it’s not the she doesn’t want to be a girl it’s that she doesn’t wanna be forced to be one cause of a superstition.

Its like how if you try to force a cat into a box it’ll probably get mad and freak out but if you just put a box in front of the cat it’ll probably jump right in with no hesitation. It’s not that the cat hates boxes, its that it doesn’t wanna be forced into the box
