The Christlike symbolism is obvious BUT Bunny has quite the contrasting personality: he’s a liar, had no problems messing w Isagi, doesn’t like seeing others happy…

Looks like Kaneshiro enjoys borrowing characters from Christianity, and alluding to them by visuals and name: Micheal Kaiser = Archangel Michael, Bunny Iglesias = Christ (Resurrected Christ, to be precise)

However, it seems that Kaneshiro doesn’t play into the traditional characterization this time either: Bunny’s personality is a direct contrast to Christ’s, similarly to how Kaiser does not have the personality of Archangel Michael, but instead his character is Lucifer/Satan-like

Hiroshi Nagai's paintings need sunglasses to look at.

They look like how it feels to walk across a parking lot on a 98° summer day without a speck of shade in sight.

They look like heaven but also like you'd burn your bare feet on the ground.

Even when you can see shade you know it's not enough and the minute you step out you'll be burnt to a crisp like a vampire.

And it's BEAUTIFUL

i love the way they animated Endo, truly i do [especially with how his tattooes are very consistently detailed, and how his hair is noticeably curly] BUT GIVE HIM BACK HIS SQUISHY FACE DAMNIT 😭
