thinking about ctommy and absol again. the first time he would see it would be pre-war times, he would see it off in the distance and know with dread that something terrible is going to happen, absol’s are cursed after all. bring with them nothing but death and ruin. and he would shout it away, say it wasn’t going to ruin this, not l’manburg, not all this work him and everyone he loves are putting into this country, this home, no sir.

and then it does. and he keeps seeing the absol pop up. and he keeps shooing it away, no matter how far away, no matter how close, begging it to just fuck off. and then his discs would be taken or he would be shot in the chest or his brother and country would be lost in one fell swoop or his best friend would exile him. it doesn’t matter that he tried to push it away, he was already cursed.

and in exile tommy sees the absol almost daily and he’s so scared and angry and definitely tries (and fails) to kill it because he just wants it to fucking go away! stop doing this! what makes him so fucking special that this cursed fucking pokemon is following him around, causing all these fucking problems!! he’s already got to deal with dream normally, why’s this fucker upping the ante? interestingly enough, dream’s not a fan of the thing either, maybe because he wants to be the one to make tommy miserable. maybe because he’s the only living thing tommy gets to see.

but as he stands on top of the tower, and sees the absol a little closer than it would usually be, he realizes it’s not the absol’s fault. it’s not his own either. they don’t make bad things happen, they’re just forced to witness, to warn, to try and help but be blamed as the cause when all they did was be there. and tommy jumps in the water, of course. decides he wants to live, dream was just there to watch him, etc etc. and he gives the absol a pat on the head, figures it doesn’t quite get the love it deserves because people are too busy avoiding it. and neither are quite so alone anymore as they start their trek to the arctic.

i have the setting of "see reccommended blogs" turned on. (or whatever its called)

which means that i get the "check out these blogs" thing, with a couple of blogs and one example post that they made/reblogged.

sometimes the example post says that it "contains filtered tags".

and every time i click on those posts, they are posts about palestine.

i am not filtering any tags about/related to palestine on this account. i am filtering one very specific thing that has never been mentioned on posts about palestine, because it is completely unrelated.

i have also had this issue on my second account, BEFORE i started filtering any tags. and the only thing i have filtered now is character from a video game. who, again, has never been mentioned on palestine posts.

@staff i would like some sort of explanation as to why posts about palestine are being marked as "containing filtered tags" on an account that has no filtered tags or content at all.
