And I've been thinking about it all day

It could be bots or hackers or something, but judging from my experiences in comment sections it might also be that many of the comments very inappropriate and diminishing their musical abilities

Please consider these are real people, and their profession is musician, not professional hot objects and we should treat them like that, be respectful and kind and for the love of god don't tag them or the official Maneskin tag in smutty and 18+ fanfiction as the members likely have accounts on some plattforms and will be made very uncomfortable by that

my thing about football is that its history boxed in with white lines on a green pitch and millions witnessing it.

i watch the makings of a legend and tomorrow every kid on every street knows those legends if theyre good enough, wearing knockoffs of their kits years after they retire. its like what the colosseum was, but a grass-green field instead of sand cause theres no blood to soak in - every football arena for euros or the world cup is like this, and its the whole nation on the shoulders of eleven of them, who instead of blood spill salt in sweat and hopes that live and die boxed in by the white lines, in the voices of thousands watching from the stands, in the whistle blow to start and end it all, and then you leave, and the fans leave, and the colosseum doesnt sound like a beehive anymore.

and they might never see you again because in two years a lot can happen to a player. youre injured, or sold to a small league, or retired, or your coach drops you from the national team because the competition is the most intense in the world - those same kids that wore knockoff kits will grow up wanting to wear one with their own name on the back. and youre older now, and your legs give out at the sixtieth minute instead of ninetieth like they used to, and youre either achilles with your picture by the trophy in your teams locker or youre second, third, seventh, ninth, a could-have-been forgotten in a years time when a bright eyed kid like you once were plays like you never could. its brutal like that; but its glory is golden, and the people will love you like they do the pope if you give it your all, so you do, or dont. but its ninety minutes that forever costs you every time.

Is it just me or can anyone else literally hear Måneskin grow up throughout the albums?

Like on their first EP they are all young, cocky and a bit inexperienced, but they introduce their plan to the world and make a promise for what's yet to come

On il ballo della vita they seem to lose the façade and get emotional and question things, they have highly emotional songs like 'Torna a casa' and 'la parole lontane' where they express both love for music and fear of losing it

And then on TEATRO D'IRA VOL. 1 they have found a unique sound, they make music from a place of deep friendship and self-confidence, with their musical abilities having developed clearly onto the next level where they express life through all its facetts, the anger, the sex, the longing (both emotional and physical in that regard), the struggle and the friendship between them —

It seems as though they have made it, and I don't mean that pertaining to commercial success or fame, but, as any artist wishes to achieve, they have created something truly worthwhile, deep and inspiring and have reached and touched people around the world with their craft.

actually the sexiest thing about måneskin is that they do write songs in english and they have more pop-y songs they could've done for eurovision and they simply said no ♥️
