hello there hyd this blog has been inactive for so long i don't think you'll answer this ask but i'm still gonna ask cuz i need someone idk to vent to. anyway so, I have this friend. once upon a time, we were the bestest of friends. but we hardly ever even talk anymore. and like I don't even know why. cuz like nothing really happened between us, we just grew apart after going to our seperate colleges. he's got his new super cool group of super cool friends and i've got my own group of very cool friends. (we're different kinds of cool. my friends are the kind of cool people who like to hyper-analyse books and movies and shows over snacks on weekends while his friends are the kind of cool people who party and go out every weekend, basically introverts and extroverts.) and like... i really miss him. i use to text him first all the time, asking about his day at college and stuff but he never did the same for me so i start med feeling like maybe he didn't want to talk to me anymore so then I stopped texting him. and we haven't talked in over a year (except that one time I drunk texted him on halloween, it's an embarassing story) but yk i really miss him. I miss my bestfriend. so much. (not in a romantic way but like..yk i feel like i've lost a part of me)

so i texted him today. because i'm pathetic that way. nothing much just a simple "hii" and he replied to me 3 hours later. very unlike him cuz he's chronically online and usually texts back instantly. I asked him how he was and he said he was amazing. after 2 hours. i haven't seen the message yet. he's also asked him how i'm doing and i wanna reply with something that makes him thing i'm genuinely having so much fun with my life. I mean, I am. but it's not always rainbows and sunshine. but i kinda wanna make him think that it is. idk why. like he's my bestfriend. i miss him. why am I trying to make him jealous? of what? what's wrong with me? HE'S MY BESTFRIEND. or at least, he was... idk man. idk what to do.... with myself.

he was your best friend and you both have grown apart. losing your friends hurts more than a romantic breakup istfg. you could text him back and talk to him nonchalantly yk but you could also just ask him where it all went wrong.

sorry for replying so late but i think you should take the high road, try to get over him. he hasn't done much to show he's feeling the same. you have new friends so cherish them, forget him. don't try to make him jealous, you'll only end up feeling bad.

lassi is a blended yogurt drink that is very popular in the Northern Parts of India. it's either sweet or sour.

aam panna is a delightful summer drink prepared from green mangoes. It is so refreshing with the sweet and tangy flavors.

kokum sharbat is a Konkani beverage made using dried kokum.

chaas is buttermilk.

neembu shikanji is a refreshing Indian drink made using lime juice, shikanji masala powder (a unique spice mix), and sugar.

dahi papdi chaat is a famous Delhi street food. it is a crispy sweet, spicy, and tangy chaat that packs a whole lot of flavor.

bhutte ki khees is a well-liked and delightful street food of central India prepared using corn and spices.

misal pav consists of misal, a spicy curry usually made from moth beans and pav.

vada pav, the dish consists of a deep fried potato dumpling placed inside a bread bun (pav) sliced almost in half through the middle.

samosa pav is similar to vada pav, it just has samosa instead of vada between the bread.

pav bhaji is a fast food dish from Mumbai (Bombay), India, consisting of a vegetable curry (bhaji) cooked in tomato gravy and served with a soft bread roll.

matar kulche is a very famous dish of delhi. matar refers to the spiced and tangy curry made with dried peas and since it is served with the soft and fluffy kulcha.

bread pakoda are simply bread slices dipped in spiced gram flour batter & fried. These are popular as a North Indian street.

fafda jalebi are traditional pairing of gujarat. fafda is made of besan and is crispy whereas jalebi is deep fried and sweet.

chaat is a term signifying a huge variety of Indian street foods, snacks, or small meals which usually combine salty, spicy, sweet, and sour flavors. there are a various amounts of chaat available like aaloo chaat or tikki chaat.

chicken hyderabad biriyani is explainable i guess? it's a biriyani from hyderabad that's made with basmati rice and meat.

kosha mangsho which means a very spicy and thick mutton gravy. it is a very popular traditional curry in Bengal, and its literal meaning is sautéed meat.

mutton is goat meat. it's cooked in different ways all around the desi community.

chingri is an iconic Bengali prawn curry made by cooking large tiger prawns (bagda chingri) or giant freshwater prawns.

ilish fish is one of the few fishes that is quite famous for its incredibly soft meat.

daal pitha is a traditional bihari dish. they are like rice flour dumplings and they have mixed lentils as fillings.

fafda jalebi is a traditional gujarati pairing. fafda are spicy and crunchy which is made of chickpea consists of long strips of dough which have been deep fried and jalebi are sweet, tangy and soft fried.

nimki is the bengali version of namak para. it's a tea time snack made of all purpose flour. it's usually crunchy.

kachori is a delicious deep fried pastry like snack. it's fillings depend mainly on the region.

dahi bade is a type of chaat. it is prepared by soaking vadas (fried lentil balls) in thick dahi (yogurt)

chanachur is a type of savory snack mix that usually contains fried lentils, peanuts, spices, and other crunchy ingredients

bhujia is a popular crispy snack and is prepared by using besan (gram flour) and spices

samosa is a deep fried pastry which has the filling of mashed potatoes and peas.

litti chokha is a very famous meal of bihar and jharkhand. litti has a hearty filling of sattu along with spices like ajwain and kalonji. served with chokha made with mashed potatoes, this is a complete meal.
