New 19 Days Chapter:
He Tian's insecurity is going off the charts the longer they stay at Buzzcut's place 😂 I don't think he was basking in Buzzcut's older sister's attention, but he was surely hoping her flirtation would drive Momo to possessiveness.
It's always entertaining watching He Tian mope around, but it's just as interesting when OX presents scenarios that display the difference between Mo and Tian's personalities. Momo's not someone who believes in laying claim over another person (he got enough of that from She Li). If that’s the attention He Tian likes, then it is what it is. Not to say Guan Shan doesn't get jealous, but he also knows he can't control what other people do.
Instead of being unafraid to claim what's his, Mo stews in silence with hurt feelings. And you know what? I don't want him to change. If I notice my partner becomes uncomfortable with someone flirting with me, I don't expect them to step forward. I either set a boundary in place to shut down the flirt or approach my partner to reassure them that I'm paying the flirt no mind - like He Tian did this chapter! Great job, Tian 🥰 I'm sure Mo appreciated it, after the initial embarrassment lol

About Megumi, his Domain and the upcoming fights
Tumblr media
As a general note: Gege said that he wants to finish JJK at the end of the year. Add some months on top of it because of course and we're at the beginning of next year. We probably have about 40+ chapters to go until the end.
The fight against Sukuna (and against Kenjaku) is going to be fought in multiple stages IMO. We only have 3 villains (until now at least, Kenjaku might've recruited some other sorcerers to his side) and many more heroes, so they'll switch around in their match ups.
One of those who is going to fight against Sukuna is going to be Megumi himself and he's going to achieve this by using his complete Domain Expansion
People on Twitter are freaking out about Sukuna being able to use Chimera Shadow Garden and cloning Mahoraga but from everything we know about how expansions and possessions work, Sukuna doesn't have access to CSG just like how Kenjaku doesn't have access to the DE of Geto and Itadori Kaori
This is because a DE comes from manifesting your Inner Domain first, and that is basically part of your soul. That soul that Sukuna just submerged into darkness.
Tumblr media
When Sukuna gets weakened enough by his fight against Gojo and the others (especially when a surprise attack by Nobara's resonance weakens his own soul) Megumi has the chance to fight back against him. But while limiting Sukuna's cursed energy output had been the only thing he managed to do after the initial possession, now he will be able to go bigger than that
By activating his Domain Expansion and pulling Sukuna inside of it.
How would that work?
The one ability we've seen of CSG in its incomplete state is the cloning ability but it isn't limited to the shikigami alone. Megumi can clone himself with his shadows so even with his body still in the possession of Sukuna, Megumi can still project himself into the Domain
Once the CSG is activated Megumi will also be able to use all the shikigami Sukuna tamed for him including Mahoraga. Additionally, the skeletal construct that had been only a spine in his fight against Reggy will be complete as well and will probably give the domain another ability to use for Megumi
When would this happen?
Either in the middle of this multilayered fight or its end. I lean more towards the end myself except Sukuna finds a way to switch bodies for another last fight though he already ate his last head.
How much narrative sense does that make?
Quite a bit actually. While collecting all 10 Shadows was something we all wanted to see Megumi do himself, that part of his future achievement has been crushed by Sukuna (of screen). But in the story itself, Megumi's primary goal in regards to his powers was the completion of his Domain. He can do that while still being possessed.
And also: Sukuna's relationship/obsession with Megumi would come to a peak in a confrontation like that. From the beginning, Sukuna always wanted to see Megumi become stronger and a better sorcerer. Even after he seemingly won he still had a smile on his face when Megumi suppressed his cursed energy. Even though his Bath Ritual would be made void in this scenario, Sukuna would still be all smiles from ear to ear in seeing Megumi fight successfully against him.
This confrontation would also tie in nicely to the theme of being "lonely at the top". In a twisted way, Sukuna would've made sure that he wouldn't be lonely anymore, seeing as the Domain Expansion alone won't mean his defeat. As long as the fight over Megumi's body continues, Sukuna will be the happiest character in Jujutsu Kaisen

Avatar: The Way of Water - Great Movie, Horrible Ending
Jake saying, "You could have gotten you or your brother killed" at the beginning of the movie gave me the worst feeling about Teyam's character. I knew that wasn't just a parent scolding their child; I had a feeling it was foreshadowing Lo'ak being the catalyst to Neteyam's death in the future. Both teens (and Neytiri) had death flags over their heads, throughout the movie.
I wanted the Omatikaya chief's son to get clocked so bad and was cracking up when Lo'ak and Neteyam beat their asses lol! Then when him and his friends attacked Lo'ak's pride, I knew they were going to do something grimey to get back at him. At this point, that dreaded feeling in my stomach felt like death was coming for Lo'ak. But the writers completely fooled us and beautifully introduced the outcast we all love. Still feel like the chief's son got off too easy there. I wish more than Neteyam snatched him up and knocked him upside his head (and the other kid).
After that situation, I felt like the death flag was waving heavily over Neteyam's head again. If Lo'ak survived that, I knew he was living to see the end of this movie. Fast forward to the final moments before that heart-wrenching scene where Neytiri was out for BLOOD. They're home free and Lo'ak says they need to go back for Spider. It's a great thought, except Spider has taken care of himself all that time while he was captured. Neteyam likely thought of this and believed Spider was capable of escaping on his own. But to ease his brother's worry for their friend, he went back with Lo'ak to save Spider. He may have also gone back because he knew Lo'ak was gonna go anyway, getting Spider and himself killed (then Neteyam would've felt guilty for not being there for his brother).
The reason it's hard for me to go back and watch this movie (to even watch reactions of it) is that it follows the trope I hate so much in movies. The tactful, experienced warrior dies because of a dumb miscalculation and the emotional decision of their loved one. Neytiri and Jake dodged bullets throughout the ENTIRE movie with barely a scratch. Neteyam (clearly experienced with they way he handled that machine gun) decides to jump into the water while his enemy has a fully loaded gun and gets fatally wounded. And yes, Jake pressured Neteyam too much about being the eldest and didn't reassure Lo'Ak nearly enough. But Neteyam's death had less to do with Jake's pressure and moreso to do with his love for his brother. Neteyam loved all his siblings deeply. There was no way he was letting Lo'ak go back alone. Neteyam's death felt like a plot point and I hate it.
To add insult to injury, Lo'ak repeated the same mistakes throughout the entire film - even after Neteyam's death. It felt like he never reflected on how his actions may affect others (like a true teenager), but at some point he should've learned from past mistakes. Perhaps the writers are saving this maturity for the next movie, but as it is these turn of events ruin the end of Way of the Water for me. I still say this movie is way better than the first one, but I also have no desire to watch it again anytime soon.
