saeyoung choi x alice!mc aesthetic / twisted!wonderland au ( explanation underneath the cut )

so i have a really big idea for ( in general ) that in the AU that the mc is obviously alice. throughout the entirety of the au / story , the mc is confused as to what they’ve dropped into. who is everyone? why is everything abandoned? wonderland is war torn after the queen of hearts disappeared off the face of their world. there seems to be a power struggle between a girl with blonde hair taking the throne and a kindly man with blue hair trying to take it. corruption is amidst everywhere. there’s no put together house in sight. the previous queen was the only thing that kept wonderland together, but from what the mc can gather , it’s not exactly a clean position. blood rests on the hands of the previous queen’s hands , and the next person in power intends to wipe out those against them. the few that are left, anyways. the last queen seems to be a bit of a tyrant. 

the mc can’t even remember her own name --- everyone keeps calling her alice. throughout the entirety of au , luciel’s identity is obscured , and it’s hard for anyone to tell what his role is supposed to be , as the mc is alice , jaehee is the rabbit , etc etc ... the mc doesn’t remember anyone or anything. she’s completely and utterly lost. 

he doesn’t explain much ... but he keeps calling her alice with a regretful look in his eyes. she tries to press him for more answers, but doesn’t get much out of him. he only insists on accompanying her through wonderland so she doesn’t get hurt. he just insists on “getting her out of there in any way he can” which she doesn’t get ... the two get closer and closer to each other , but never actually get together --- he insists that it’s too dangerous. that HE’S too dangerous.

their goal is to get to the castle , since luciel claims that will “solve everything”. as mc progresses through wonderland , it seems to be that luciel is the only one that is “sane” in all sense of the word --- most other seem to be blood thirsty or manipulative , and mc can only wonder what’s happened ...

an ending in which mc has been revealed to be the previous queen of hearts , and saeyoung is revealed not only to be the general of war / head knight and when the MC is restored back into power as the rightful ALICE and QUEEN of hearts , she must make the decision as to how to bring wonderland back together , or if she even has the right --- as she had been the one to flee her position after letting the world fall into war. seeing wonderland has changed her. she’s not the same , innocent girl that fell down the rabbit hole , but she prays , she prays to herself that she’s not the same girl who let her world fall into shambles.

and why, why did saeyoung think this would solve anything?

an ending in which it is revealed that saeyoung has the intentions of also taking over the throne. an ending in which saeyoung reveals that he had never cared for the mc, he only wanted to come to power in the throne. he never cared for her , he never did , so why , oh why , did it hurt to see his queen point the sword he had taught her to fight with at his throat?
