niche things I love about Indian culture
(Besides the awesome fashion, food, mythology, architecture, music, and philosophies)
-in Hindi, “ladies and gentlemen” is “goddesses and gentlemen” (देवियों और सज्जनो)
-how you measure age by how many monsoons you’ve seen (“he is of 10 monsoons”)
-good morning WhatsApp forwards. Yes, this is a controversial one. I just think it’s cute as hell
-how 2 Indians can each know like 4 languages but still not be able to communicate with each other because they don’t share a single common one
-men wearing lots of jewellery especially gold hoop earrings 👀👌🏽
-nose rings (I got mine when I was a kid WITH my parents’ approval)
-the fact that Indian English uses so many archaic words and terms. And also so many terms that sound like they’re from the year 2050 (like “biodata” for resume)
-“where should I put this?” “On my head.”
-the expression “sucking my blood” in Punjabi when someone is annoying you. “Stop sucking my blood,” “He’s really sucking my blood.” Also “He’s eating my brain” in Hindi is a good one too
-how shop owners serve you food and chai and how the men drape saris over themselves to model them for you
-impromptu poetry sessions (“वह क्या बात है!”)
-there’s a reason so many animes are inspired by Hinduism and Buddhism. The original spirit bombs and other magical energy weapons were in the mahabharat lol
-really off the wall units of measurement. Lakh makes perfect sense. Crore makes a bit of sense. But why is a mahakalpa 311,040,000,000,000 years. Why does an akshauhini consist of 21,870 chariots; 21,870 elephants; 65,610 horses and 109,350 infantry. That is so specific
-the fact that no one’s gonna top the party we’re gonna throw when the queen dies

The first time Bokuto Kotaro hugged you, you were overwhelmed by emotions.
Every feeling you had ever held back, every time you tried to hide your feelings and be brave, every time you felt alone, every time you felt like you were useless, every time you wanted a hug but didn't get one... All of it was released at once and you couldn't stop the tears flowing from your eyes.
The poor boy thought that he'd hurt you in some way and quickly broke away. You pulled him right back and continued crying in his arms. His arms around you made you feel safe, made you feel acknowledged. "Please don't go." You sobbed. "I'm not going anywhere." He whispered back.
The hug spoke to you in a way. You received an unspoken message from it. Something you had always longed to hear.
"It's okay."

Dating Gojo
Warnings: none!
Genre: Fluff
Note: I've done Gojo Headcannons before but those were character headcannons. I'm doing Gojo dating headcannons now! Enjoy reading.
To be frank, he never thought he'd fall in love. Till one day he just... Did.
He became extremely clingy after you started dating. Not because he was insecure but because he knew how quickly one can lose someone and wanted to spend as much time as possible with you.
If you don't like talking very much, leave it all to him.
Wherever he goes, he brings you back souvenirs.
He likes to sing to you and sing with you.
Sometimes he sings in a weird falsetto pitch to make you laugh. He says it makes him sound like Ariana Grande and surprisingly he's not that off.
His love language is annoying the heck outta you and spending quality time together. Just like a cat.
He knows you love his eyes so he rarely wears his blindfold around you. You never ask him to do that, knowing the importance of the blindfold but he does it all on his own.
He loves to hug you from the back.
He is not a morning person and wouldn't let you get out of bed in the morning either.
He keeps spoiling movies for you. You hate him for it. He doesn't care. It's all good.
When he's in a bad mood, he lies down on your lap with his eyes closed.
He loves playing board games with you.
He loves buying things for you.
He likes watching romantic comedies with you but Howl's moving castle is his all-time favourite to watch with you.
He gets very jealous when others try to get closer to you and he doesn't hesitate in showing it.
He kisses your neck and fingers when he's jealous. That's how he shows it.
His ideal date would be a karaoke night followed by dinner and ice cream.
One time he tried cooking for you. Let's just say it was a bad day for the cooking pan. (R.I.P pan...)
He got you a bird plush once and then took it to his place. It was supposed to be yours.
When asked about it, he said- "Hey, your happiness is my happiness and your sorrow is my sorrow. It's not your plush, it's ours."
You got him a cologne you liked the smell of once. He wears it every day now. To work, on dates, to get groceries, etc.
This man LOVES matching with you. It could be matching bracelets, matching clothes, matching watches or anything and he'd melt.
He gives you a deep and loving kiss every time before he leaves for a mission.
You know everything about him. His past included. He still doesn't like talking about it because it brings back bittersweet memories.
Arguments with him are never too bad because no matter what he says, you know he loves you.
Top tier cuddler.
He can be both big spoon and little spoon when cuddling.
He loves it when you touch his head. Be it to pat him, to ruffle his hair or when you try to fix it.
(a/n): These were some of the things that come to mind when I think of Gojo. Hope you liked these.
Thank you for reading.
Likes and reposts are much appreciated.
See you soon and till then, stay safe!

They try to get closer to you
Ft. Zhongli, Kaeya and childe.
Warnings: None.
Genre: Fluff
Notes: Not everyone is in a romantic relationship with the reader... Well, at least not in the beginning of their parts. Also, the childe one is kinda long but I love it and I'm sure you will too.
Zhongli
It had been a while since you both had met because of Zhongli's busy schedule. You weren't very happy with that, but you were always happy when his letters came in. He always complimented you in them, asked about every little thing and wrote you a short poem at the end of each letter.
But he missed your physical presence and your touch. He missed seeing you smile when he would say something silly or when he would forget to bring Mora. So he came up with a plan.
Aeons ago a certain drunken bard friend of his had once told him that he had a 'fine' neck. Whatever that meant... And that he should, "Show it off" sometimes by not letting the beauty suffocate with his tie. Whatever that meant...
So he decided to go all out. He showed up at your place in the morning right before he would generally leave for the wangsheng funeral parlour.
Being the gentleman that he is, he brought along with him a bouquet of glaze lillies. You were surprised on seeing him on your doorstep when he had been so busy.
"Good morning, my love." Zhongli greeted you with a gentle smile as soon as you opened the door. "Good morning. How are you? Come- come in please." You told him nervously. Since he had never shown up unannounced before, it caught you by surprise.
"Oh, these are for you." He said, passing the beautiful bouquet to you. "This wasn't necessary but thank you for making my day better." You smiled back.
Then you noticed that Zhongli wasn't wearing his tie. You had never seen him without one in your 4-month relationship. His big collared shirt's top button was left open showing off a little bit of his neck, it was a little more casual than what he usually wore but the look suited him.
"So, what brings you here?" You asked him after placing the bouquet in an empty vase. "My apologies for the unannounced visit but I need your help." He said.
"My help? Sure. I'll help you with whatever it is that you need my help with." You were confused. Zhongli was a very resourceful man. He never needed help. Well, except for the times that he would have no Mora but let's ignore that. It was usually you that needed his help and sometimes you wished he needed your help with something. You had your wish.
"My tie was ruined because of a rather... Unexpected hilichurl attack." He began. "Oh no. Are you alright?" You panicked. "Yes. I am. I handled it but I bought a new tie and I am unable to adjust its length. It always seems too long or too short. It must be the fabric of this one for I know how to make a tie. But I need your help with it." He spoke calmly.
Something was not right about this and you knew just what it was. Because what does the fabric even have to do with the length of the tie? But you also felt like you should take the opportunity to be closer to him. So you calmly took his tie and stood on your tippy-toes to put it around his neck.
He smelled like tea. It was pleasant. You took your sweet time doing his tie and he didn't seem to mind. Not at all. He just seemed a little dazed.
Unbeknownst to you, he was also enjoying the way your hair tickled his nose a little and the way his heart seemed to beat pleasantly faster at your closeness.
It was only one tie and sadly, sooner or later you had to let go. "It's done." You said and looked up at the brunet after you did his tie. He held your gaze and even though the two of you weren't touching, you felt like he was pulling you towards him.
The way he was looking at you made you wish he could stay with you all day and keep looking at you like that. You could tell he wanted the same but reality became a problem.
Because in reality both of you were adults who were busy with work, diplomacy, money, and madly in love but still far away from reaching your happy ending.
"Well, I suppose I should get going now." He said, breaking eye contact. "Y-yes. Your tie isn't too tight, is it?" You asked him. "No. It is perfect. Much like a lot of other things in my life..." He spoke. He was thinking of how lucky he was to have you when he said that.
"Right, let me see you off then." You told him and he nodded, following you to the door. "One more thing..." You said and you turned to look at him as you raised your hand to his perfect jaw and cupped his cheek.
You would think he'd be surprised but he wasn't, instead, he brought up his hand and placed it on top of yours, leaning into your touch. "Next time you miss me, just let me know. Don't make excuses." You said and chuckled.
That made Zhongli a little flustered. You took your hand back. He sighed because he realised that he really had to leave.
He stepped out of the door but then turned around to ask you something, "Love, if you're not busy today I was thinking I would buy us dinner and then take you up to Mount Aozhang to watch the stars." He suggested.
"That sounds like a wonderful idea. I'm looking forward to it." You smiled at him and he left smiling as well. He was reminded throughout the day that when your job has you deal with dead people, you shouldn't smile very much.
Kaeya
You two had known each other for ages and knew everything about each other. It was amazing how you could tolerate him.
All of Mondstadt had given up trying to understand the psyche of the cavalry captain of the knights of Favonius. It was like you could read him like a book.
But there was one thing that you did not know. Kaeya was deeply and madly in love with you. Now that, was something all of Mondstadt knew.
As a matter of fact, you guys were a topic of hot gossip. Who doesn't love a good ol' childhood friends and co-workers falling for each other troupe?
Who would've thought that behind his constant flirting was actually something deeper.
Kaeya got the idea from one time that he injured himself fighting a Mirror maiden. A piece of glass had pierced the skin around a part of his torso and it was bleeding. As soon as you saw the red colour on his clothes you left all your work and got up to dress his wound. He insisted it didn't hurt very much but you could tell he was lying.
"Take off your shirt." You told him. "I'm sorry, what?" He asked, confused for a second. "Take off your shirt and the 5 other layers of clothing and let me dress your goddamn wound, Alberich." You hissed at him.
"My, my. Very eager for me to take off my shirt, aren't we? What exactly do you have in mind?" He smirked. "This is not the time." You growled at him and he slowly took off his shirt.
If it was some other situation where he had been required to showcase his beautiful torso, you would've liked it. However, in this situation, all you could think was about how bad it must be hurting him.
You quickly dressed his wound as first aid and then took him to see Barbara. The entire time you were close to him, Kaeya had to control himself to not confess his love to you and hold you in his arms.
He liked how close you had to be to give him first-aid. So, from that day most of the time, he went on patrol and came back injured somehow. It was mostly a minor injury but you still cleaned it up. Every time.
Then one day he came back with a cut on his forehead. "Hey dove, look who's back." He said in a singsong voice to annoy you. He was leaning against the doorframe of your office.
"Come sit." You sighed as you looked up at him. He obediently sat down in a chair in the far corner. You took the first aid box and went over to him.
"Kaeya be honest... Have you been drinking too much again? Or are you overworking yourself?" You asked him, cleaning the blood off of his wound. "No. Why would you ask that?" He asked you, wincing a little.
"I don't know, you've been getting injured a lot more than you ever have." You sighed. "Well, that's because... Maybe in the back of my mind, I have always known you'd be there for me if anything ever happened so I'm getting more relaxed." He gave his theory and that's when you knew.
"Wait a minute. Have you been doing this on purpose?" You asked him, boiling with rage and you stopped treating his wound. "I can explain." He said, getting up from the chair and backing away, holding his hands up as if he was surrendering himself.
"I'm not in the mood for your stupidity Kaeya. I don't want to know what could possibly be more important to you than your safety and health." You were livid at this point and honestly, anyone would be.
"The reason I did this is more important to me. You'll see it too once I explain it but you won't let me talk. This is no way to conclude now, is it?" He said.
"Don't you dare be cocky with me." You told him, picking up the dagger on your table and unsheathing it. "Whoa whoa! Put the dagger down and let me explain! Please!" He said and backed away even further.
"Go ahead, I'm listening." You kept the dagger back and crossed your arms in front of you as you waited for an explanation. "I really like it when you're close to me and touch me and take care of me." He said. "That's it?" You asked. "Well, yeah." He shrugged.
"When will you stop flirting and actually tell me the truth? Sometimes you should take things seriously." You told him, picking the dagger back up. "I am serious." He said with a frown.
"What?" You were confused. Kaeya, who you knew since childhood liked being close to you? Like that? And he meant it genuinely? Because you could tell he wasn't lying.
You slowly kept the dagger back. "But that would mean-" You started speaking. "That I am not lying or flirting this time when I say that I lo- like you." He said.
"Well, now that I think about it I guess I like you too." You told him. "Guess?" He raised an eyebrow. "Well, I mean do like you but I also hate you." You corrected your statement. "Understandable." Kaeya nodded his head.
"Cool. Guess we're lovers now." Kaeya then stated. It felt good to say it out loud.
"So that means you're okay, right?" You asked him. "Yeah. I'm sorry if I worried you but I'm perfectly fine." He came over to you and hugged you. "Good to know." You said and then pulled his collar to get his face closer to yours.
"Run." You whispered but the tone made it very clear as a warning. And knowing you, Kaeya did run. He ran for his life.
Childe
He knew you because of Fatui connections. You weren't a harbinger, but you were a very high ranking officer of the Fatui, who got where they were because of hard work.
The first time you had met Childe, was the day he became a harbinger. It was a formal dinner attended by all Fatui diplomats in Shneznaya where you met him. As soon as you saw him you knew he was trouble.
"Hi, my name's Tartaglia. A pleasure to meet ya." He introduced himself to you, seemingly friendlier than the other harbingers you had ever talked to. "You must be new here... The Fatui don't greet each other so informally and I suggest you remember that before you get into any trouble with the Tsaritsa." You told him.
"Thank you for telling me that. You seem cool." He said with a smile. "Again, not so informal." You reminded him. "Yeah, whatever. So... You wanna fight?" He asked you.
"I beg your pardon." You almost choked on the drink you were having when he said that. "I said wanna fight? Fight as in spar." He asked you again.
"Oh I heard you the first time, I just cannot believe how anyone could be this... Clueless. And I know what a fight is." You said, your face showing your disapproval towards his behaviour.
"Hey look, you have a cryo vision. Damn you'd have an advantage over me. Still don't wanna fight? Fine, I'll go easy on you." He told you.
"No." You said and turned away without any further explanations or arguments. "Remember my name though, I go by Tartaglia and my alias is Childe. I'll see you again... Person who did not tell me their name." He shouted out loud, earning a glare from a certain short, violet haired harbinger.
The next day you were walking in the huge Zapolyarny palace because you had been summoned by the First Harbinger and had to go see them. "Well, well, well." A rather familiar voice said.
Childe that idiot... "Good morning, 11th Harbinger. How is your day going?" You asked him because of formalities. "It's going great. Do you know what would make it better? A fight against you." He said.
"Why me?" You asked him. Honestly, you were curious. "Because you have a cryo vision." He answered. "Well, Signora has a cryo delusion which I'm sure is a lot better than my stupid little vision." You told him.
"I thought you couldn't call harbingers by their names?" He smirked as he caught you. "Well, she's different. She and I get along well." You made up an excuse.
"Weird. Cause she seems like the person who'd like being called by her title." He snorted. "She does like it. When others do that. Also, if you have nothing else to say I must take your leave." You bowed slightly and left as quick as you could.
You were trying to avoid talking to him at all because it would get you into a lot of trouble if you punched a harbinger in the face and he made it very difficult not to.
The next day you were signing paperwork in your office and making plans on how to distribute the fatui workforce in a way in which would be most efficient.
Someone knocked on your door. "Come in." You answered without looking up. "Hello dear, did you miss me?" A rather familiar voice said. You closed your eyes, inhaled deeply and exhaled even more deeply knowing who you had to deal with.
You stood up, "11th Harbinger. How may I help you?" You asked him. He did rank above you. "Still calling me that? Okay. As for what you could do to help me-" He was saying when you cut him off, "I will not fight you. Also, how did you find me? I never told you my name."
"Well, you're no fun." He sighed and waddled into your office, taking a seat in front of your desk without being asked to. You felt the urge to punch him again.
"As to why I know your name, I have connections." He told you. "I figured." You said and slowly took a seat too.
"I was asking what I could help you with." You reminded him. "Right. I need the information on how many people we need in all lands across tevyat and how many we're short on. The Tsaritsa put me to the case." He said.
"Oh. You actually want to work. I'll take out the files in a minute, please excuse me." You thought out loud and got up from your desk to look for the files on the shelves on the right side of the room.
"Ah. Found them!" You said and went back to your desk with a couple of files in hand. "Great. Let's get to it then." Childe said and you both began discussing the agendas.
When you were working, you almost forgot childe annoyed you. You came to know that there was an intelligent, smart and determined man behind the mask of a stupid, impulsive and thick-skinned man. You were both discussing the plans and forgot all about the time.
"Dear archons! It's way past lunchtime." Childe suddenly noticed as he looked at the wall clock on the left side of the room. "Oh, I didn't even notice." You said.
"Well, I guess we'll take a break and then meet each other here back in an hour." You proposed. "Or we could discuss more things over lunch so that it saves us more time." He suggested. "Alright..." You agreed.
He took you to a nearby place which was famous for its replication of foreign cuisine. You both ordered what you wanted.
"So, lastly, the situation in Liyue needs to be taken care of. With the rite of descension coming close we need more representatives there. I myself will be transferring there temporarily. Surely that would increase efficiency." You said as you took a bite out of the Mondstadt hash brown that you were eating.
"Wait- you're going to Liyue?" Childe asked you. "Yes. And as much as I wanted to avoid this situation, it seems like we need a harbinger there. I was thinking the 5th harbinger-" you were speaking as you were cut off.
"There's no need for that. And go back to your office after you finish. I have something that I must take care of." He told you, got up and left. "What a weirdo..." You mumbled as you finished your food.
You reached back to your office and began working on the plans again. A knock on your door was heard again. "Hey. Guess who doesn't have to worry about someone being transferred to Liyue now," Childe said as he entered in.
"Why? What happened?" You asked him as he took a seat. "I have been assigned to go to Liyue as well. An order given out by the Tsaritsa herself. Here take a look." He told you and passed a document your way.
"Wow. This seems legitimate. And as much as I would hate to say this, you do seem capable enough to help me handle the situation there." You said as you read the paper.
"Is that a good thing?" He asked you. "Yes." You answered. "Oh, and pack your bags. We leave in 2 days." You told him. "Sure," Childe said in a singsong voice.
Over the next few days, you and Childe had formed a rather unexpected friendship. You didn't hate around being him all that much and his constant attempts to get you to fight him became something that you just didn't bother about.
In Liyue you both had to eat a lot of lunches and dinners together to discuss things. You had started calling him by his name too! Well, his alias anyway.
"Hey Childe, pass me that pen please." You told him when you were reading a document from the Northland bank. He thought of being happy about it or pointing it out to you but he also realised that doing so would ruin the moment.
Some days you would work together, some days you would make trade contracts together and some days you just... Hung out. As surprising as it was, you stopped finding Childe utterly repulsive and ridiculously stupid.
"Hey, why aren't you a harbinger?" Childe asked you one day when you were both skipping rocks in a lake. "Well, I'm not very good at handling my weapon... It wasn't always like that but one day I accidentally hurt someone very dear to me. That day I lost all confidence in myself." You told him your story.
"What weapon?" He asked you. In return, you took his bow and formed a cryo arrow. You took a stance and aimed at an apple. You slowly pulled back the string and then released it. The arrow missed the apple by a very long distance.
"Bow." You sighed. "Well well well, it so happens that I, Tartaglia am an expert at handling a bow." He boasted. "Your point." You rolled your eyes. "I'm gonna teach ya." He said. "Cool," You said without thinking. "Wait- what?" You said once the realisation hit you.
The next day, you were there in a training field. "I don't wanna be here..." You told childe, loud and clear. "Then fight me." He said. "You- you little- gah! I hate you." You hissed at him. "Oh no. I am hurt... So hurt." Childe fake sniffed a little.
"If you've finished whining should we start?" He then asked you. "I'm not whi-" You were saying when you were cut off by Childe moving closer to you and shushing you with his finger on your lips.
For a few seconds, you were too flustered to react. "I want to help you become stronger... So that I can always know that you'll be okay. That you'll be safe." He said with all seriousness in his eyes.
"Get your finger away from me." You said and swatted his hand away. "And whether or not I'm safe is none of your concern." You told him, but looked away immediately because looking at him now felt weird for some reason.
"Well, as a friend it is my concern." He spoke calmly. And then you noticed something. When he was serious and thinking, he looked amazing. You couldn't help but look at him. Then you felt a sharp but mild pain in your chest.
"Let's just get this over with please..." You told him. "Right, so now what I need you to do is take a stance with your bow." He instructed and you took a stance.
"Oh, we have a lot of work to do." He snorted. "Gee. Thanks." You rolled your eyes at his comment. "Let me fix your stance." He said and stood behind you giving instructions.
"Your hand should be a little higher than that." He said.
"Like this?" You asked him.
"No!" He replied.
"Then like this?" You asked him again.
"Worse than before." He sighed.
"Then like-" You were asking when he cut you off. "This isn't working out." He announced. You relaxed from your stance. "Then what do you want me to do?" You asked him.
"Stance. Again." He said. You took your stance again. "Permission to touch you, your highness?" He asked you. "Yeah. Whatever." You replied.
Then he came closer to you. He slowly slid his hands to your elbow gently touching it and moving it. Then he fixed your hold on the bow. His chest was pressed against your back and you could feel his breath on your neck.
You shouldn't have been enjoying that so much. You also wanted the time to stop like that forever. His heartbeat was in sync with yours and you wished you could be this close to him all the time. You didn't know when exactly you started feeling like that, but you were fine with it.
"Now pull the arrow back." He instructed and you followed. "Release." He said and you let go of the arrow. It hit right in the middle of the target. "See? With practice, you'll get there." He told you. One of his hands was still on your back and the other one on your elbow.
"Yeah. Yeah. Whatever." You said, your voice a little thinner than it usually was. "So, let's take it from the top once more?" He said and you nodded.
In 3 days you were able to hit a bullseye on a still Target from the maximum reach your bow and arrow could offer.
Childe was very happy about that. He had started working on his plan. The plan was to spend as much time as possible with you till you eventually fell in love with him. He thought it was genius.
It took you another two to get used to the moving targets. For the first week with the targets, you kept freezing and panicking as you saw them. It reminded you of what had gone wrong and how it almost cost somebody their life.
Childe helped you through all of it by talking to you, taking breaks with you and suggesting to you ways in which you could imagine the target that would not trouble you. This was not helping you move on from your feelings about him.
In the second week of training with moving targets, you started hitting closer and closer to the middle of the target and every shot hit the target. But you were still unable to land what would be a critical hit to a real target.
"This should've worked by now." Childe sighed as you aimed on the target for the millionth time that day. "Why isn't it?" You asked him. "I'm not sure... Your stance is great, your focus is great and your timing is perfect." He said.
"Let's take a break, shall we?" He said and gave you his hand to lead you away from the training arena. You gladly took his hand. You both sat down together for a while and Childe was telling you about the latest letter Teucer had sent him and how much he would love you.
A while later you both decided to go back to train. "Now what?" You asked him. "I think you should think a little less." He said. "What does that mean?" You frowned in confusion. "Just don't think that you want to hit the target. Just release the arrow when you feel it's right and then we'll see." He instructed.
"Doesn't make much sense but alright." You said and then took your stance. You closed your eyes, took a deep breath and aimed at the target. You forgot all about aiming and wind and accuracy and just waited. Then suddenly you felt a jolt through your body and released the arrow.
"You did it." Childe gasped. "I did it..." You repeated after him, seeing that the target was hit. Then before you could stop yourself you went over to Childe and leapt into his arms. Luckily he caught you. "I finally did it!" You cheered. "I always knew you could." He said and gently released you from the hug.
Your arms were on his shoulders and his hands were on your back. Your beautiful eyes were staring into his romantic ones. "So... Celebratory dinner? On me?" He suggested, not breaking the eye contact. "Sure." You agreed, also not wanting to stop looking at him.
"So should we go now?" You asked him. "In a while." He said and gently brushed one of his fingers on your cheek. "Okay." You chuckled.
"Also, there's this thing I was wondering that you could do for me, now that you've finally grasped how your weapon works again." He said. "What is it?" You gasped because of how fast your heart was beating.
"Fight me."

Wish I could be there ~ Miya Osamu
Warnings: Self harm, anxiety and heartbreak
Genre: angst without death
Pairing: Miya Osamu x Fem! Reader.
POV: Osamu's POV
We've known each other for as long as I can remember. And our parents are the best of friends. Throughout our lives, we were in the same school. Always together.
I've always loved her. More than anybody else ever could. I've always been by her side. When she had issues with her parents... When she had first realized how stressed she always was and that the heartaches weren't normal, and during the time she had started self-harming.
She'd cry in my arms, not knowing how to stop. It was a difficult time. For both her and me. It's not easy for a 17-year-old to watch someone they love more than themselves go through so much. And I couldn't even help her because I had no idea what to do except be there for her.
But she got help for herself. I was so proud of her for doing that. She gave her therapist my name for the person she knew she could always share everything with and someone she could rely on. I was glad she knew that.
A year later, she was much better. The self-harming had stopped. The anxiety was still there but nowhere near as much as it used to be. I remember exactly what she said, "Thank you so much, Samu. I don't know what I would've done if you hadn't been there." She said and hugged me tighter than ever. "I'll always be there," I said and hugged her back.
That was the year we had won Nationals under Tsumu's captainship. She was there in the front row cheering for us with all of her heart. When we'd finally won, I think she was happier than me. She was the first person I had told about my dream of 'Onigiri Miya'. She loved onigiri too, so she was very supportive.
Another year later I was with her at her house. She stepped out of her room, looking like an angel. I could see the extra effort she had put in by styling her hair differently, putting thought in her clothing and putting a touch of makeup. That's not why she looked beautiful though. It was because she looked happier than I'd seen her in a long, long time.
"How do I look?" She asked me. "Hmmm.." I pretended to think and looked at her seriously. "Honestly..." I said, making a face. "What's wrong this time?" She sighed. "You look beautiful as always." I finally said and her face lit up.
"I love you so much Samu." She said as she hugged me. She had no idea how much those words meant to me. "I love you too," I replied. She broke away from the hug. "I can't believe this is finally happening." She gushed. "I always knew," I told her and she smiled brightly. That was the day of the first date. We've come a long way after that.
I remember that she was the only person who called me and Tsumu by our nicknames. We didn't let anyone else call us by those nicknames. Not even our parents. To others, they were just nicknames. But to us, it was something we shared... Something we were willing to share with her.
This was all coming back to me. She was walking down the aisle, looking as beautiful as always. I loved the way she was smiling. Walking towards me. She was happy. Happier than I'd ever seen her.
She looked happy even when she walked right past me and stood next to my brother. That was the exact moment I remember my heart shattering into pieces. I don't blame them for loving each other though. She was an amazing person anyone would be lucky to be with. Besides, she wasn't duty-bound to love me because I was nice to her. That was my choice and I had always known that.
And it's not like they didn't tell me that they liked each other. Tsumu had asked me if I would mind him going out with her. I wasn't one to back out. I didn't even let anyone else have the last slice of pizza. But that was the only time I backed out of something. Out of all the things, I had backed out of the chance to have something I'd always dreamt of... A life with her.
(Y/n) had told me she liked him too. But much later than Tsumu had. "You wouldn't mind me going out with Tsumu?" She had asked. "Of course not, you idiot. It was bound to happen. Just make sure you two don't get all lovey-dovey in front of me." I'd roll my eyes in response, every time she had asked me. I'd helped her get ready for her first date with Tsumu. And Tsumu before the day he finally asked her to be Mrs Miya Atsumu.
Out of everything that I could have lost, why did it have to be her? If I could change one thing in my life, it would be the moment I agreed to it all. I wanted Tsumu to be happy too, but couldn't it be with anyone else? I wished to be the one by her side...
God had given me enough time to tell her and make her mine forever, but I had let the opportunity go to waste. It was all my fault. I had never told anyone about it. If I had, maybe things would've been different. And maybe... it could've been me there, standing next to her.
I was happy that she was going to be a part of my family, but it also killed me that it wasn't happening the way I'd prefer it to be. "I now pronounce you husband and wife." The voice broke me away from the flashbacks in my head.
A few tears escaped my eyes before I even knew it and my brother looked at me. He then nudged (y/n) to look at me too. They both looked emotional. They thought it was because I was happy for them. Part of it was. But most of it wasn't...
But I had made a promise. And I intend to stick by it. I would always be there for her, even if it only meant for me to be her... Best friend.
(a/n): I think I broke myself with this....
Anyways, let me know if I have made a mistake anywhere.
Thank you for reading, see you soon!
Till then,
Stay safe and healthy

Onigiri Order ~ Miya Atsumu
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: Slight language
Pairings: Miya Atsumu x Fem! Reader.
POV: 3rd person
(A/n): I have used Japanese suffixes here to show how exactly the reader and Atsumu's behaviour was with each other. If you think there is a reason I should not have done that, feel free to let me know.
"Tsumu, go and buy me some onigiri," Osamu ordered his brother. "Why?" Atsumu asked. "Fine, don't go. Guess I'll have to tell mom ya broke the window..." Osamu told his brother with a smug look on his face.
"You little..." Atsumu grumbled as he got up from his bed and changed to go out. "what kind of filling do ya want, ya bastard?" He asked his brother. "Hmm..." Osamu pretended to think. "Tell me quickly. If ya can't decide I'll just get the first thing they have on the menu." Atsumu yelled.
"Hey, ya can't talk to me like that, did ya forget yer my servant for three more days?" Osamu reminded his brother. As a deal to keep quiet about the broken window of their house, Atsumu had to obey his brother for a week. "What. Filling. Do. Ya. Want?" Atsumu asked him, livid.
"I think I want the umeboshi (Japanese pickled plum) filling," Osamu replied with a yawn. Atsumu grumbled as he started to leave. "Oh, did I mention that I want the onigiri from that one place 8 Kilometres ( 5 miles) away? Osamu told Atsumu from his room.
"Oh come on! How will I even get there?" Atsumu asked in annoyance. "Hey, ya have to. Take the train. Don't worry, I'll wait." Osamu said. Atsumu sighed and left the house, not like he had a choice anyway. It was around the time of Christmas, so it was snowing. Atsumu was wearing a sweater and a jacket but still felt cold.
"Stupid window... Had to be there when I was practicing serves." Atsumu grumbled to himself as he walked towards the train station nearest to his house. Soon he got down at the station near the onigiri place.
He had a grumpy expression on his face the whole time and he had reached the place sooner than expected. While going in, he accidentally knocked over a bicycle that was parked so that it wouldn't get in anyone's way. He was so annoyed that he didn't even pay attention to the bike.
The place was crowded as always. But something or rather, someone caught his eyes. There was a new worker there. A girl. The place was run by a family and he knew all of them quite well. But he had never seen her. She was interesting. He didn't know why but he felt that there was something... Strange about her.
He had to wait in line for some time and he was looking at the girl the whole time. She was interesting. When he was second in line, he realised that the person in front of him was a young boy.
"Oh, hello! What would you like?" The cashier girl asked the boy in front of him with a smile on her face. The boy looked nervous. "It's okay. Take your time. It's scary to order food. I speak from experience." She said with a friendly voice.
The child instantly felt at ease and finally ordered his food. "See, you did it!" The girl told the boy and he smiled. Atsumu could tell that the girl was quite friendly.
Next came his turn. He wanted to act cool and impress the girl. He didn't know why, but he wanted to. He also knew it would be a piece of cake since girls always liked him. He was told he was handsome on more occasions than one, so he trusted his face and charming personality.
"Next!" She called out. Atsumu stepped forward. "What would you have?" She asked him, not looking at him and all traces of friendliness disappeared from her voice. He was shocked, not even 'what would you like'?
She was a different person now. Her face seemed disinterested. "Hello?" She said, waving her hand in front of Atsumu's face, now looking at him.
He didn't realise it but he had zoned out from shock. How could it be? She didn't like him? That must've been what felt strange about her. He hadn't even said a word. Did she not want to look at him? "Wh-eh." He said out of confusion. And at that moment he knew he had ruined all chances of impressing her.
"Are you okay?" She asked him with a weird expression on her face. "Y-yeah, I'd like to order onigiri." He said, starting to come back to his senses. "Well, what kind?" She asked him getting irritated because it was a store specifically for onigiri.
"Oh, Umeboshi." He answered. "Okay. Your name please?" She asked him. "Atsumu." He answered. "K. First name?" The girl asked him. "Oh, ha- that is my first name." He answered with an awkward chuckle.
She looked at him with tired eyes that scared him. "Okay, wait and your order will be here soon." She said. Then she waved at someone behind him. He turned to look who it was.
He saw the daughter of the owner. She was a lot older than him, but they knew each other since he was an old customer of theirs. "Hello, Nakime-san." He wished the woman. "Oh, Miya-kun." She responded to him and continued, "how are you?" "I'm good, thank you." He answered.
"My shift's over, right? can I go home?" The girl asked Nakime as she walked away from the counter letting someone else take over, disinterested in the conversation between Atsumu and Nakime.
"Oh, let me introduce you to Miya-kun first," Nakime told her. "I'm good." She replied but got completely ignored by Nakime.
"Miya-kun, this is (Y/n). She's working her for now as a replacement for my younger sister Kana. You've met Kana, right?" She told the male. "Yes, I noticed Kana-chan missing. Also, Nice to meet you (Y/n)-san." He told her with a smile. "Cool." (Y/n) replied.
"Anyways, can I go home now?" She asked again. "Oh, silly me, you can go. Thank you for coming today." Nakime told her and she left. Atsumu felt a tinge of regret as he couldn't even make her smile at him.
He then continued his conversion with Nakime when someone came through the door hurriedly. It was (y/n). "(Y/n) are you okay? You didn't go home?" Nakime asked her. "Someone knocked over my bicycle and now its pedal is broken. I can't go home." She said and sighed.
"Oh no, you live quite far away, right?" Nakime asked her. "Yeah, like 7 Kilometres away." (Y/n) said and continued, "I don't have enough money to get home by train. What do I do?" She asked. "I'll lend you money and you can leave your bike here," Nakime suggested.
"No, I cannot accept money in advance. I did that last month too..." (Y/n) said. "Well, what will you do then?" Nakime sighed and started to think. "Well, guess I'll just walk back." (Y/n) said. "Absolutely not! It's very late for you to be walking out alone." Nakime said.
Then Atsumu remembered something. "Uh, about that..." He said. "What?" (Y/n) asked him. "I think I was the idiot who knocked your bike." He said and awkwardly chuckled again.
(Y/n) did not say anything and just glared at him with rage in her eyes. "I have an idea. What direction is your home in?" He asked her. "East." She answered, her glare still fixed on him.
"O-oh, what a coincidence. I live in that direction too." He said, stammering because the glaring made him nervous. "What are you suggesting?" (Y/n) asked him with a raised eyebrow. "W-well," Astumu said, trying his best to explain, but he was too nervous. "I think I know what he's suggesting," Nakime remarked.
"What would that be?" (Y/n) asked her. "Miya-kun wants to walk you back," Nakime told her. "Yes! I mean, that's the least I could do anyway." Atsumu said. "And I like that Idea. I trust Miya-kun. I've seen him grow up after all." Nakime added.
"You know what? I like that Idea too. And yes, that is the least you could do Miya." (Y/n) said and signaled Atsumu to come along with her. "See ya, Nakime-san." She said as she opened the door to leave. "Thank you for the food, Nakime-san," Atsumu said as he was leaving and waved at her.
After they left, walking together seemed a lot more awkward than they had expected it to be. Finally, (y/n)broke the silence by saying something that should definitely have been said,"If you try something funny, know that I can gouge your eyes out with my nails." "I won't do anything," Atsumu assured her.
"So... You seem to be around my age." He said. "I'm a high school second year." (Y/n) replied. "Whoa. Me too!" He exclaimed. "What school do ya go to?" He asked her. "Well, I just moved here. I lived in Tokyo." She answered him.
"Whoa, what's Tokyo like?" Atsumu asked her.(Y/n) did not particularly like talking to strangers but once she got comfortable with someone, being engaged in a conversation wasn't difficult.
Soon, the both of them were chatting like old friends. "So, what school are ya joining?" Atsumu asked (y/n). "I'll be joining... Ita, no, Ina... I can't remember the name." (Y/n) answered. "Wait, could it be Inarizaki High?" He asked. "Yup! That's the one, how do you know?" She asked him, surprised.
"I go ta' that school!" Atsumu exclaimed. "Really? That's so cool, I haven't even started going there and I already know someone." (Y/n) said. "Hey, but you can't forget that you damaged my bicycle. You have to pay for it." She said firmly.
"I know, but I'm running low on cash because of my stupid brother." He grumbled. "You have a brother?" (Y/n) asked him. "Yeah, we're twins." He replied. "That is so cool." (Y/n) said with a gleam in her eyes. Atsumu Chuckled at her reaction causing her to blush slightly.
"I'm sorry, but I've always been fascinated by twins. It's so cool. Especially if they're identical. Are you guys identical?" (Y/n) asked him, a little embarrassed. "Yep. But my hair is blond, as ya see and his is grey." Atsumu said. Their eyes were different, but both twins always forgot about that.
"So cool." (Y/n) said and then continued, "but why are you low on cash?" She asked him. "Well, it all started when I broke a window..." Atsumu began telling her the story.
"And then I was like- okay I'll get your onigiri." Atsumu said as he finished with the story. At this point (y/n) was laughing so hard she had tears in her eyes. "Oh god." She said as she placed her hand on her stomach to stop laughing.
"You guys are so funny." She told him and then continued, "but you still haven't told me how you'll pay me back." "Well, I could show ya all the places to hang out," Atsumu suggested. "Sounds like a deal." (Y/n) agreed.
"Ah, that's my house. Thank you for walking me home Atsumu-san. Wait, can I call you that?" She asked him. "Sure. It's perfect. You can even drop the suffix if you want." Atsumu told her. "You're cooler than I thought." She told him before she left. "Thank you!" He told her and waved her goodbye.
❀❀
As soon as Atsumu reached home, he was greeted by his hungry, raging brother. "Where were ya? Where's my onigiri?" He asked Atsumu. "Calm down, here's yer onigiri and I will gladly go there as many times as you want me to. Thank you brother, for liking onigiri." Atsumu told his brother.
"What? Why?" A confused Osamu asked his brother. Atsumu filled him up with how his meeting with (y/n) went. "I like her, she's so cool. And she didn't like me at first unlike others. But I think she likes me now. Must be because she finally noticed my handsome face." Atsumu said.
"Handsome face you say?" Osamu said and smirked at his brother. "What?" Atsumu asked him. Osamu smirked wider at that. Then finally Atsumu realised what his brother meant.
Later, their mother heard screams from their room. "Ya can't have the same face as me ya jerk! Get plastic surgery. What if she meets ya and likes ya more than me?" Atsumu shrieked at the top of his lungs, wrestling his brother.
"I was kidding, let go of me. I'm not interested in this girl you've met. Just let me have my food. " Osamu told him. It was very usual of the two so their mother paid no attention to it.
(a/n): Ta da! Another story all done.
Like always, let me know if there are any mistakes.
Reblog and like, because I really love it when you guys do that.
Thank you so much for reading.
See you soon and till then, Stay safe and healthy!

Hint ~Ushijima Wakatoshi
Word count: 1502
Warnings: none
Genre: Fluff
Pairing: Ushijima Wakatoshi x Gender neutral reader
POV: 2nd person POV.
Ushijima Wakatoshi, the ace of Shiratorizawa Academy's Boys' volleyball team. Also amongst the best players in the entire country. He was perfect... Except for the fact that he thought only about two things- volleyball and food.
Was it because of all that had happened in his childhood and because he was stuck in that phase of his life? No one knew. He knew everything an 18-year-old should, mostly got good grades, and was otherwise mature. But oh boy, the trouble he had in putting two and two together...
You and Ushijima had known each other for quite a while. Since long before high school. You both were great friends since childhood and you were the only person his age he was able to interact with.
It's not like he talked a lot, but he knew exactly what to say and when to say it. You'd also decided to go to Shiratorizawa for your high school, even though your junior high had been different.
You had been in touch throughout the years but hadn't met a lot. You were very happy to be able to find him in the school on your very first day.
❀❀❀
"And hence the answer is 15." You said as you explained to Ushijima the question your math teacher had been doing. "I understand it now. Thank you (y/n). I'm going to go and get both of us some flavoured milk to drink now. What would you like?" He asked.
"Surprise me." You grinned at him and he left. As soon as he left, you let out a sigh and groaned. "He still doesn't get it?" Your best friend asked you as he sat next to you where Ushijima had been sitting previously. "No... He's too dense." You cried.
"My offer still stands. I could help you." Tendou mentioned. "I told you... I don't need your help." You mumbled. Then Ushijima came with two Vanilla milk in his hands. "Hello, Tendou. You're here too." He said, passing you one as you thanked him.
"Wakatoshi-kun! How's it going? Understood that math question?" Tendou inquired. "Yes. Very well, now I have to go meet with coach Washijo. He said he wanted to speak with me if I'm free and I am free. So I am going. I will see you two later." He said and left.
"You sure you don't need my help?" Tendou asked you, trying his best to not laugh at your situation. "Fine... Help me. But I beg you to not just tell him. Ask him how he feels first." You told him with a sigh. "Deal." He said.
The next day you and Tendou were sitting together during the lunch break. "What happened? Did you say anything?" You asked Tendou. "Calm down. And yes I did. I asked him what he thinks of you but the answer he gave is not one you'd like." He whispered so that no one could hear. Surprisingly he was more worried about the secret getting out than you.
"Well, what did he say? It's okay, my heart can take it." You told him. "Well, he said and I quote, '(y/n) is a good person...." Tendou reported. "That's it.... I've been person zoned... It seems like being friend-zoned would've been much better..." You sniffled.
"But think about it this way... Maybe he likes you but doesn't want anyone to know... There's a possibility of that being the case." Tendou remarked. "Forget it... It's hopeless." You sulked.
"Don't give up. I'll try not to be this subtle with him and try a little direct approach." Tendou planned. "You think that'll work?" You asked him. "Leave it to me."
The next day Ushijima came to you again. "(Y/n), I need more help than I thought... Will you please help me study again?" He asked you, somehow not looking his usual stoic self since you could see a hint of desperation in his eyes.
"Oh, sure... How about after classes we study at the school library? Till it closes." You suggested. "Thank you. I shall see you later then." He said and left. This was it... Your chance at knowing how he felt towards you.
After you two met during the evening you studied for quite a while. "Wakatoshi, you do the questions I marked and I'm gonna... Take a nap for some time. Wake me up when you're done please." You told him. You had to mentally prepare for what you were going to do.
Sometime later you were woken up suddenly by the voice of another student. "Please wake up. Ushijima-san and you... Whoever you are." He said. "Wait-what?" You asked as soon as you woke up.
"The library is closing, please go back to your dorms." The boy who woke you up said. "Wakatoshi-" you were going to ask him where he was but then you realised Ushijima was right next to you... Snoring lightly. He had done all the questions. He must've been tired and accidentally fallen asleep after that.
"Please wake him up too." The guy said and left. "Wakatoshi. Wake up." You spoke softly as you shook him a little. He looked so peaceful you almost didn't want to wake him up but you did anyway. You also thought of not asking him anything as it wouldn't have been right.
After that, he apologized for falling asleep. You told him it was okay and you went to your respective dorms. You immediately texted Tendou and gave him details of the situation. He made fun of you but then again, he was Tendou so of course he did.
The next day during lunch, you were sitting with Ushijima as usual, waiting for Tendou and the others. "Hey, any of you guys got water?" Semi Eita asked as he walked up to you both. You passed him your water bottle and he thanked you. "(Y/n) would you"- Ushijima was saying when he got interrupted.
"Wakatoshi-kun. I heard you and (y/n) slept together yesterday." Tendou casually said as he joined the rest of you guys. Semi choked on the water he was drinking when he heard that. You were also very flustered because of the inappropriate way it was told and went to help Semi. After some time he calmed down.
"Yes. We did. In the library." Ushijima told Tendou. "What the fu-" Semi said and he caught your hand. "That's it, I'm gonna pass out. What the hell guys? Do you want to be expelled that bad? " He yelled.
"That is not what happened. Tendou you little shi-. Semi and Tendou, a word." You said and you pulled the two guys with you. Semi by his hand and Tendou by his tie.
"You better explain yourself." You spat at Tendou. "What? I'm making it obvious to him. He doesn't get it!" He said. "I have no idea what's happening," Semi said and you gave him a summary of what had happened.
"That is... Unfortunate." Semi stated. "I know... Which is why I asked this idiot to help me." You growled at Tendou. "Don't give up though... I have one last trick up my sleeve." Tendou smiled innocently. "No. You wouldn't dare." You told him, knowing exactly what he was thinking.
Suddenly, Tendou started sprinting towards the table where Ushijima was now sitting with Rheon. "Stop him." You yelled and both you and Semi followed him, running as fast as you could.
As soon as you caught up to him, he was at the table. "Wakatoshi-kun do you like (y/n)?" Tendou asked before you could stop him. 'oh shit.' summed up your thoughts. You watched as Ushijima stood up slowly, his face full of confusion that only you could see.
"Of course I do. We've been friends since we were young, haven't we?" He asked you. 'That's it. I've been friend-zoned.' You thought and were about to tear up when "platonically or the other way." Tendou asked. "Both of course," Ushijima said.
Your heart skipped a beat but you were still a little confused about something. "What do you mean of course?" Tendou asked him for you. "I asked (y/n) on a date earlier. I thought that made it obvious." Ushijima replied.
"He asked you on a date?" Tendou asked you. "No! I don't think so... When?" You asked. "Earlier today. You were reading a book. I asked you if you'd like to go on a date and you said 'hmm. Yeah, sure'." Ushijima told everyone.
"I did?" "You did?" You, Semi, and Tendou asked at the same time. "Yes," Ushijima answered. "Why would you ask me things when I was reading?" You asked Ushijima. "Because I thought you were in a good mood." He answered. Not even a heartless person would be mad at him when he said things like that.
"If you'd have let me handle things from the start, this would've happened way earlier," Tendou whispered to you. "Shut up." You laughed, happy to finally know how Ushijima felt.
(a/n): I feel like Ushijima is definitely a person to make awkward exits.
Anyways, let me know if you liked the story or if I've messed up somewhere.
Thank you for reading.
See you soon!

Perfect Date ~ Akaashi Keiji
Word count: 1760
Warnings: None
Genre: Fluff
Pairing: Akaashi x Fem! Reader
POV: 3rd person
Akaashi and (y/n) had been going out for quite a while but they rarely had any time to themselves. (Y/n) was the manager of the boys' volleyball team of Nekoma during Fall and winter. During the summers, she was a part of the swimming club. Nekoma didn't have an indoor pool or enough funds to pay for swim practice in winters so the members were pretty much helpless in winters.
The two had met during a practice match between Fukurodani and Nekoma. (Y/n) had taken an instant liking to Akaashi because of his setting skills. It could be seen that he was the most responsible person on his team.
(Y/n) didn't have a type. But if she did have one, it'd be someone like Akaashi. Akaashi could see how (y/n) was a great manager, a great friend, and very responsible as well. He had seen her bandage Lev's elbow when he had accidentally tripped and grazed it. He didn't have a type either. But if he did, it'd be someone like (y/n).
Long story short, they took an instant liking towards each other and started going out soon. They had only been on one date before. And that too was rudely interrupted by Akaashi's classmate who happened to be where they were.
It was their second date and they had decided to meet at a funfair. It was a little far away from their schools and homes, but it was a great place. There were games, food stalls, roller coasters, Ferris wheels, and a movie theatre where a classic movie was aired and anyone with a ticket to the funfair could watch.
They had planned to see whatever movie was being aired. They met right outside the entrance at 5 PM. "Hi, you look great." Akaashi complimented (y/n) as soon as he saw her, wrapping his arms around her. "You look amazing too." (Y/n) said as she hugged him back.
"I can't believe we finally have some time to ourselves." He whispered to her. "I can't believe it either. The only other person who knows this except us is Lev who overhead us on the phone. But don't worry, he won't come here." (Y/n) told him and they both paid for their tickets and went inside.
They played a few games, Akaashi won (y/n) a stuffed panda. And (y/n) won a bar of chocolate which she gave Akaashi. They were both heading to the movie which started at 6 PM, eating popcorn when (y/n) chuckled. "What?" Akaashi asked her softly.
"It's nothing... Everything is just so perfect. We have chocolate, popcorn, we're gonna watch a movie. You're here with me, I wish this could happen more often." (Y/n) said. "I do too. But let's enjoy what we're doing now, 'kay?" He said to her gently.
"Okay!" (Y/n) nodded in agreement. They were heading to buy more candy when their worst fear came true. "Hey, hey, heyyy!" A voice that haunted their dreams called out from behind them. "Don't look back Keiji, walk. Walk fast!" (Y/n) whispered to him in panic. He just took her hand and started walking, pretend to not have heard Bokuto.
But as they started walking, they bumped into a guy taller than both of them. "Well look. Who do we have here?" He said grinning. "Hey Bokuto, I found them!" He yelled at him behind them. "Hey Akaashi, (y/n)! I was calling you. Didn't ya hear me?" He asked them. "N-no. We would have stopped if we had." (Y/n) lied and Akaashi nodded in agreement with her.
"Anyways. We heard you two were coming here, so we thought why not give you company." Kuroo said. "Kuroo-san. Bokuto-san, we are on a date." Akaashi told them, hoping they'd get the hint and leave. "We know," Bokuto admitted. "How?" (Y/n) asked them.
"That doesn't matter. Think of us as your... Chaperones. I mean, we gotta make sure you young children don't cause anybody any trouble or do anything you might regret, you know." Kuroo said with a wink. "We're not idiots Kuroo-san." (Y/n) deadpanned. "And we're only one year younger than you," Akaashi added.
"Eh. But you should know that Bokuto and I'll be following you around, but it'll be like we're not even there." Kuroo said. "Totally invisible," Bokuto said while nodding. "But it's a romantic drama." (Y/n) told them. "Well, then I guess we'll just make fun of the movie," Kuroo said. Akaashi and (y/n) just sighed and walked towards the movie hall with Bokuto and Kuroo in tow.
5 minutes later they were seated and people were still coming in. Akaashi was on (y/n)'s right. They talked to each other quietly discussing the possibility of their plans going awry. "Maybe Lev told Kuroo-san," Akaashi said. "Nah. I bet Lev told that Hinata guy from Karasuno and Hinata texted the information to Kenma. Kenma must've left his phone somewhere to play games. Kuroo-san must've seen his text to Kenma and came here." (Y/n) said.
That's exactly what happened.
Kuroo and Bokuto could not be seen. (y/n) almost let out a sigh of relief when someone sat on her left side. "Seriously?" She half screamed at Kuroo. "What? We have to sit somewhere!" Kuroo answered back.
"Go away." She told him. "Fine!" Kuroo said and asked Bokuto to move. They left a gap of one seat between (y/n) and them and sat down again. (Y/n)'s blood was boiling with rage. "It's better than them being right by you," Akaashi whispered to her. "Tsk." (Y/n) clicked her tongue in annoyance.
"Hey (y/n), Kuroo says you're on the swim team," Bokuto basically yelled at her. (Y/n) nodded. "Really? You don't look like a swimmer." Bokuto said, bluntly. "You don't look like a human and yet here we are-" (y/n) spat out. "Okay. Calm down (y/n). Calm down. And Bokuto-san. Please don't talk to us when we're on a date." Akaashi said.
The movie started and at first Kuroo and Bokuto were laughing at everything. It started to tone down little by little and till the intermission, they had stopped. As soon as it was intermission, (y/n) and Akaashi turned to look at why they went quiet.
They were both sobbing. "Everyone has a girlfriend except us bro." He cried to Bokuto. "Y-yeah, even that guy from the movie. A-and he's got a disease. He's gonna d-die!" Bokuto cried back. "Even that jerk Daisho has a girlfriend. Heck, even Akaashi has (y/n)." He said while crying.
"We're right here!" Akaashi told them. It went unheard and they kept crying like dorks. "Please don't cry. I'm sure you'll find someone." (Y/n) said in an attempt to comfort them. "You think so (y/n)?" They both turned to look at her. "S-sure!" (Y/n) said trying to sound supportive.
"We'll get you two more popcorn and sodas. Come on (y/n)." Akaashi said and dragged her away. "Wait. Why do I need to come?" She asked him. "I... Needed some air I guess." Akaashi mumbled.
"What's wrong Keiji?" (Y/n) asked him softly. "It's just that I'm always with those guys. I don't get time to be with you at all and I was looking forward to today." He said as he turned to look at her. "You hate me now don't you? For putting my own needs before my friends'?" He asked her.
"No. I don't hate you. And I never will. You're an amazing friend Keiji. Everybody needs a little space sometimes. You're with them all day. And to be honest, I wouldn't mind getting some time alone with you." (Y/n) told Akaashi, cupping one side of his face with her hand.
"But what should we do? They're a mess. We can't leave them alone." Akaashi said, sighing. "Hmmm. I happen to know someone who lives nearby. He'll come and take care of them." (Y/n) said. "Are you sure? Can he make it?" Akaashi asked.
"Let's just say he owes me. Oh, he's gonna annoy them to death." (Y/n) said and smirked.
"Sometimes you scare me," Akaashi told her. "Good." She replied.
"But we can't just ditch them. They'll get worried." Akaashi said. "I'll just text Kuroo-san." (Y/n) said and started to type.
(Y/n): Sup Bokuto-san and kuroo-san. So, as Keiji and I have been telling u all evening, we were on a date until u showed up. We're going somewhere else. Don't follow us. Someone's on their way to u rn. They'll take care of u. Also, they will annoy u to death. Think of it as my sweet gesture towards u.
P.S. this was my idea so if I find out u said anything to Keiji, that'll be ur last day on earth.
Bye!
"Okay I texted them and Lev is on his way." (Y/n) told him. Suddenly her phone rang. "Lev. Are you here yet?" (Y/n) asked him. "Yes! Where is Captain?" He asked. "He's in the movie hall with Bokuto-san. Go to them. And make sure they don't bother people." (Y/n) said. "Aye, ma'am!" Lev replied.
"Now that they've been dealt with, where should we go?" She asked Akaashi. "I have an idea. Follow me. Run." He said, took her hand, and started running away from the funfair.
(Cue there's nothing holding me back)
Soon they came up to a stop, at a cliff from where the sea could be seen. They took a seat on a bench facing the sea. "The moon is beautiful today, isn't it?" Akaashi asked (y/n). She nodded. She turned her head to look at him. For the first time, she noticed how breathtakingly beautiful he was.
"Let's listen to some music," Akaashi suggested. He took out his phone and earplugs. Put one in (y/n)'s ear and one in his own. Played a beautiful song and smiled at (y/n). She put her head on his shoulder and continued listening to music. The atmosphere around them beautiful.
An hour passed by. (Y/n) got a phone call. "(Y/n)-san! Please help me. They're making me watch the second showing of the movie with them-" Lev screeched in panic. In the background, Kuroo's voice could be heard. "There, get him!" And then there was more screaming.
"We should really go back now shouldn't we?" Akaashi asked her with a chuckle.
"Eh. Not yet. Maybe in a few minutes."
(A/n): is it wrong of me to like some of my stories more than others?
Thank you for reading. Hope you liked the story. Please let me know if something needs to be changed or is incorrect.
See you soon! Take care

How deep is your love ~Kuroo Tetsuro
Word count: 665
Warnings: None. (Extreme cheesiness)
Genre: Fluff
Pairing: Kuroo x Fem! Reader.
POV: 3rd person
Enjoy the story!
Kuroo and (y/n) were watching a movie lying in bed together. They were enjoying the movie a lot, lying in bed and cuddling.
The movie was a good rom-com. After the movie ended, (y/n) looked at her the very sleepy male next to her and gently nuzzled against his neck. "Tetsu, can I ask you something?" (Y/n) asked him. "Sure my love, go ahead. Is something or someone bothering you?" Kuroo asked, sounding worried.
To this (y/n) smiled and kissed him on the cheek. "No silly, it's nothing to be worried about." (Y/n) chuckled a little.
There was a moment of comfortable silence between them which was broken by (y/n)'s question, "Do you love me?" She asked.
Kuroo chuckled in return, kissing (y/n)'s forehead. "Of course I do. I wouldn't be here if I didn't now would I?" "Hmmm. I suppose that is true." (Y/n) said. " Then tell me, how much do you love me?" She asked as she turned to face Kuroo.
"Like the Ocean, like nirvana." Was Kuroo's answer. "Stop quoting songs. You really thought that was going to work on me?" (Y/n) asked him not smiling anymore.
"Hey, I was kidding, don't be upset. Lemme rephrase that real quick. My love for you, It's endless. There is no limit to it. None at all. There is nothing that you could ask me for and I'd refuse to give you. It is also the only thing that calms me down and brings me peace. I really, really love you." Kuroo answered with a very serious expression on his face, that somehow made him look even more handsome.
(Y/n) gave him a gentle kiss, "I love you too Tetsu. You're my only friend and my happy place." She said. "I know. Now let's go to sleep, it's getting late." He said and kissed (y/n) they both closed their eyes, resting their heads on their pillows.
(Y/n) felt weird for some reason. As soon as she put her finger on it, she turned to face Kuroo again. "Hey Tetsu, when you said you'd give me everything that I could ask for, did you mean that?" She asked and he turned to face her too. "Yes, as long as it's in our budget." He said.
"Oh, there's no need for that. It's free." She assured him. "I like where this is going," Kuroo smirked. "We'll see." (Y/n) thought to herself.
"You see, I was trying to sleep and I felt like something was off. And then, I kept thinking about it. Now I know what it finally is." She tried to explain. "You're not making sense (y/n)," Kuroo said.
"It's my pillow, I used it as a backrest so now it's warm. I want to exchange it for yours. Gimme your pillow." She told him.
"(Y/n), remember when I told you there was no limit to how much I love you and what I'd give you if you asked me for it?" Kuroo asked her. "If you mean from five minutes ago, then yes I remember. Now gimme your pillow!" She said, rolling her eyes at him.
"Let me finish woman. It has a limit. I will not give you my cold pillow. Good night!" Kuroo said and turned, his back facing (y/n) now.
"Liar!" (Y/n) yelled and hit Kuroo with her pillow. He remained unfazed by it and eventually (y/n) fell asleep.
Kuroo hadn't slept yet, he just stroked (y/n)'s hair and watched her sleep. "Four years we've been together and she hasn't changed a bit. I couldn't love her more."
(a/n): This is the first story I've posted here. I hope you liked it. Feel free to point out if something is incorrect wether factually or grammatically. Thank you for reading.
Please take care.
