quinn looked down at her phone at paige's comment, "you did?" she scrolled, and shook her head, "i don't see anything missing in my call log." she made a face and looked back up at the redhead. "are you sure?"

❝ that's a fair point. fomo, i believe the kids these days call it. ❞ paige admitted with a laugh. when asked why she would choose such a song lyric, paige shrugged simply. ❝ i've been through a lot of shit in my life, yet somehow i'm still here. seems fitting enough to me. ❞

"well, i don't think i would actively choose to sleep for a long time. i don't like the idea of missing too much." prue said with a shake of her head. she was a bit too type a, and she didn't love admitting that. but she could admit it to herself. "oh? and why is that?"

whatever universe this was definitely seemed to be different than any of the other universes she'd been to -- but gwen wasn't entirely certain she minded that. this place seemed mellow for the most part. plus, now she had a familiar face to hang around. gwen couldn't help but laugh softly when peter admitted that he would hide out in the cafe. ❝ i mean, endless coffee? who could go wrong with that? ❞ the brunette asked with a giggle. ❝ yeah, it's been a minute. ❞ she then added with a shrug.

peter hasn't run into anyone he knew in this town. not yet, at least. he thought he was alone, and without his powers he felt a little lost. a little regular. and it took about a week to start appreciating that. no monsters running rampant, no aliens, barely any crime. it was comfortable. he smiles at her humor, happy to hear she's the same gwen he remembers. “ this cafe is nice though, i'd, i mean, i'd stay here, yeah. ” his eyebrows raise hearing how long she'd been in mystic. “ wow. i've only been here a few months. ”

❝ i don't need to hide in the studio but -- i met a guy a couple weeks ago and went on a date with him but he is so not my type, but i can't for the life of me figure out how to break it to him, so he keeps calling and texting me trying to go on another date... ❞ lilly admitted with a heavy sigh.

the blonde looked at her friend and asked, "is there someone new that you're trying to get away from, because i'm not sure if we can just hide you in the studio or something, that only works so many times." miley laughed at the thought. she wasn't even sure if it would work or anything. but it was a funny thought to think about and consider. hiding out until the breakup process was over.

The crowd thought ronnie was part of the act and started cheering wildly. by the end of it, both ronnie and the dog were offered honorary roles in the town's next parade! ❞ she spoke, reading from the article before her.

zelda laughs softly at blair's words, feeling welcomed even after having said she heard she was toxic. though, zelda would have to see that for herself before she believed anyone. “ well, thank you. i try to have a realistic view of the world we live in. sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad, but it's all up to interpretation. ”
