So far we have 25 fics in the collection. It is open and unmoderated, so anyone can add their holiday Mystrade fic. However, it will close shortly after midnight on January 7, 2025. You do not need to finish your fic by then, only add it to the collection. You can continue to add to your work after the collection closes.🎄

Mystrade Holiday Collection 2024 update

We are coming to the end of the holiday season. The collection now houses twenty five fics! We have one fic added since the last update. And one fic I inadvertently missed. 🫣 Go give them some love. ❤️

Happpy New Year! As of Jan 1st the 2024 collection now houses twenty-three fics! Several of them are multichapter and there are a couple of WIPs as well. Take a moment to check out the new additions and check in on the WIPs, which have been updated. Remember to leave kudos and comments for the authors. They literally live for them.

How to add to the collection

So you have written the absolutely most beautiful holiday Mystrade fic and really want to add it to the collection, but when you try to search for the collection it doesn’t show up in the pick list.

But you can see other people have fics in the collection? 🤔

There are two ways to post to the collection.

1. You can post your fic directly into the collection.

2. You can add your fic to the collection when you post it.

Note, you have to type in the full name of the collection using the underscores, then hit enter. The collection won’t show up in the pick list, because it hasn’t reached a certain threshold for searches, yet.

We had the same issue last year. But not the previous years, which is a testament to how much AO3 has grown.

I hope this helps! The collection will be open through January 6, 2025. There’s plenty of time to add your fic still. Remember, you can continue update any WIPs after the collection closes. 😁 🎉
