how to play:

Do something kind for someone else in fandom. This can be anything you choose: leaving a comment, boosting a post, inviting someone who seems lonely to a discord, writing a gift fic, making a doodle, offering to beta read, recommending a fanwork...the list is endless!

But here's the catch: You must never reveal what your act of kindness was!

Seriously, don't make a post about it, don't announce it on discord, and definitely don't tell the recipient that you did something nice because of this silly post. That could make someone feel pitied, which is not the point. Lock your good deed in your heart!

That's all. Go out and spread good feelings.

Please use your best judgment to define "something kind" and participate in good faith. This is not a formal event and has no sign ups, social media account, AO3 collection, or hashtag. You don't need to act anonymously; just don't connect your actions to this event. Please don't ask questions about what qualifies since that could give your intentions away!

Holly Poly is, as the name implies, an exchange for polyamorous relationships. OT3s, OT4s, OT6s, orgies, open relationships, sedoretus, whatever strikes your fancy, as long as it involves three or more entities.

Participants are able to offer and request fanart, fanfiction, fanvids, podfic, fanmixes, gifsets, or aesthetics/moodboards.

We understand that life gets in the way sometimes. If you realize you will not be able to finish your assignment, please default as soon as possible. This year, 48 hours is the maximum extension that will be granted. You're free to still finish your assignment if you need more than 48 hours; however, if you ask for a longer extension or you don't post your fanwork by the extension deadline, then the request will be sent out as a pinch hit. There will be no exceptions to this rule. The FAQs for this year's exchange have been posted. Please let us know if anything is unclear. Sign-Ups are Open!

Are you ready for a no-pressure Bingo event centered around some of your favorite AO3 tags? Then look no further because the AO3 Favorite Tags Bingo is open and accepting sign-ups!

We've rounded up, sorted, and prepped all 346 accepted tags that were submitted through nominations. So, here's how it works:

Sign-ups open today (09/15) and close December 15th

Bingo cards go out October 1st and then 24-48 hours for anyone who signs up after 10/01

You will be given a list (depending on if you select SFW tags or all tags) to select from while signing up to ensure that only the tags you want will be on your 3 x 3 bingo card.

All participants are required to select 30 tags minimum (this is to ensure that all participants are eligible to get all badges)

I know, i know—it’s been a while, and this account has gathered a bit of dust, hehe. Sorry for disappearing! I’m back ‘cause i’d love to organize a #CrossoverShipsWeek 2025 edition! But wait, there’s more! I have so many ideas i wanna pick up again, like hosting a Valentine's Day event soon… and some other fun stuff. 🙂‍↕️

For this event, you're able to request one of four types of cards:

Hurt/Comfort: An even mix of prompts under both categories.

Cause and Effect: Each square contains a hurt prompt and a comfort prompt. You must use both prompts within a single work.

Holly Poly Helpers Wanted

Holly Poly is, as the name implies, an exchange for polyamorous relationships. OT3s, OT4s, OT6s, orgies, open relationships, sedoretus, whatever strikes your fancy, as long as it involves three or more entities.

As the event keeps growing every year, we've come to the realization that it's necessary to get more help to deliver the best experience to this year's participants.

Currently, we're looking for 4+ people who can help us with mod duties during this exchange. Below, you can find the different areas where we need help. You can choose to help only with one task, which is why we're including the timeframe for each task as well.

Helpers must be 18+ and be comfortable reviewing all types of content.

We're looking for help with the following tasks:

Help with tagset and nominations (October 2024): This would be checking tagset sanity for both the 2023 tagset and the final 2024 tagset, checking nominations validity and formatting, helping with any editing from the 2023 tagset to the 2024 tagset (i.e. new disambiguations)

Help with social media announcements and pinch hit formatting for those (Mid October 2024-January 2025): We currently use twitter, tumblr, discord, dreamwidth and google groups. If you are proficient in one specific social media site, please let us know.

Help reading/looking over works (Late December 2024-January 2025): This would be checking for Do Not Wants/request fulfilment and completion of stories
