Speaking of Maka being beautiful.. I have a head canon that Horo has a thing for her. At the same time, she doesn't really have a clue about his feelings, no matter HOW obvious he'd be.

So..can I get Horo flirting with Maka and Maka just...smiling back at him like, "Oh, hI, fRienD"

The Problem With Jokichi Yudasei

After playing Yandere Simulator’s 1980′s mode for a little over a month. I’ve noticed something that’s just very irritating.

There’s no difference between Jokichi (Ryoba’s Senpai) or Taro (Ayano’s Senpai)

According to Jokichi’s description on the official website he’s supposed to be this ‘charming, flirtatious, ladies man’ Yet in game he’s just as much of a wet blanket as Taro. I was at least hoping there would’ve been a few differences like:

Casually fixing his hair every now and then

Interactions where a female student or even a rival greets him, he returns the greetings and maybe even throws in a little compliment “Oh hey —- your hair looks real nice today” 

Him actually chatting with students as he’s supposed to be this charming person yet he’s such a loner in game walking around the school.

A different walk and idle animation to fit his personality. I imagine his walk is something like with one hand in his pocket and the other just lightly swinging at his side. His idle animation would be his knee popped out on the same side where his hand is in his pocket, he’s looking around and casually runs his free hand through his hair.

Like I get not having the assets to really change up a lot of the game for 1980′s mode, but when you give us a character that’s supposed to be a ‘Ladies Man’ persona and is supposed to be flirtatious and charming and he’s just a cut and paste photoshopped Taro, it really doesn’t fit. 

Even in the video talking about 1980′s mode on YanDev’s YouTube, the way Jokichi is described makes you believe we’re going to meet this awesome character, see some interactions, see exactly why Ryoba is so fascinated with him, but all we get is Taro with bedhead.

I still enjoy the game regardless, and I’ll still play and even plan to make a thorough S+ guide for 1980′s mode. I just think Jokichi could use a few tweaks is all to fit his description better.

I wanted to draw Ayano with elongated proportions, but then I thought: if she looks so tall with a height of 165 cm, then what do really tall (and short) characters look like in this style?

So, I sketched tall characters: Taro, Yanagi (Yan-kun), Osoro-kun and Shinobu-chan (gb Shin)(she is extremely tall, yeah)

And short characters: Hanako, Haru-chan (gb Hazu) and Ohta-kun (gb Oka)(not extremely, but short XD)

Later I would like to finish drawing Yan-chan. I think it would be good to experiment with school uniform designs

I was playing murder house the other day with friends and I was super scared because of course, it's a horror game. My friends laughed at me (not in a seriously rude way just teasing) because I was scared but like... Have you ever heard a jumpscare in a PUPPET COMBO GAME????
