In my dragons' world snakes represent an old god of truth, the thought being that because snakes can't blink they also cannot lie.

The old gods are gone from this world now, just stories and metaphors. In this scene, Jai'cred, a powerful leader of a faction of dragons, is walking through a hall towards a throne room of a new god, Coelaini. By her side is her young daughter, Yeesha. Jai'cred will be asking for a blessing because her mate and son were just killed in a conflict and doesn't want her only remaining child to be in danger.

The end result of this encounter will be that young Yeesha will be raised away from her mother, kept safe in this place while her mother returns to rule from her seat of power. This is a seminal moment for Yeesha's character and shapes her as she matures

Convexity Cataclysm | My piece for the Spyro 25th Anniversary Zine! ---

My illustration was to represent The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning and I chose the final boss fight between Spyro and Cynder as the portal in Convexity opens to unleash the spirit of the dark master Malefor back into the world.

This was my first ever physically published art, I poured everything I had into this art and I'm insanely proud of it!
