PHYSICAL MODEL PLAN
I was nervous for the time to come when I would have to fabricate the model is still quite foreign to me. However, I was also excited to do that too because it is a really important skill for becoming an architect. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to do it but once this situation gets better I would love to try it. My capsule would be rectangular and one-floor building for the research of sound and vibration of the ground to find the existence of the underground city. Also, it would be a sustainable building because my story set in 2040 ish and when 2040, global warming will get more serious and sustainable building will definitely be more important than now. The capsule design was inspired by Reza Mohtashami’s Mountain Accommodation. Because the site I imagined as the very first stage (before ruined) was a surprising match with his site as both of our sites have lots of vegetation and hills/mountains. The environment was inspired by Cappodocia.
I was thinking of making a sectional model of topography and a capsule at a smaller scale. I thought a sectional model would be the best way to convey my ideas because it includes the underground (underground + inside of the mountain) city. I would have CNCing the topography slice as this would be the best way to cut away at the landscape to place my capsule. And this is why I changed to use stepped topography from smooth topography. Then I had planned to 3D print the structure of the outpost, the historic ruins, buildings which are supposed to go inside of the mountains (+ underground) and the bridge since it has cables and other small elements. And then I would assemble the 3D printed building into the site and make environment elements such as trees and rocks by hand.

My lab notes are like chicken scratch since taking notes while doing exercise on Rhino and tried to not get behind. And sometimes it doesn't make sense when I look back my notes to figure out something for assignments.
Note: take notes that make sense when you look back later!!
*To professor, I also added some comments and extra photos on previous posts

Reflective: I really enjoyed this assignment but it took me hours to build a bridge. I feel there is easy way for it and I couldn't figure out how to import 3d image from google to Rhino. Also any of objects aren't in actual scale.
when I render the image the line was too thin and didn't show at all                      ---> solution: pipe tool (make lines thicker)
new way to make a house ---> 1.make box 2.Split planar surface 3.by using gumball, drag the centre line up
Note: Always think about the scale!

Australia Bushfires
Already the fires have burned 8x the area of the California Wildfires of 2018, and almost 6x the area of the Amazon Fires of 2019 that both caught the world’s attention. With 500 million animals estimated to have been killed so far, the fires continue to devastate wildlife and cause unfathomable destruction, forcing many to flee their homes.

Reflective: accidentally didn't save as Auto CAD file (only saved as PDF file) which affected a little bit to task3. Some lines aren't smooth.
Note: MAKE SURE SAVE FILE IN PROPER STYLE
