You've been a huge fan of animes for as long as you can remember. You always stayed up late to watch your favourite anime or read a manga. Sometime, you would fall asleep in class, but the teacher doesn't really care since you always aced your exams.

The thing is, no one really knew anything about your obsession. Not even a single soul (except for your families). In school, you always keep up the image 'honor student' when in reality you're just a silly teenager who's addicted to hot fictional man who isn't even real.

But for some reason, one of your classmates, Phainon, the most popular guy in this school and championship of any sports (except for chess), always wanted to be your friend. He claimed that he's already curious about you since the day you enter this school. At first, you reject and told him you want to be alone, but he ended up following you like a lost puppy and eventually got along with you. You trust him so much that you told him your weird obsession.

"It's not weird." You didn't expect Phainon's reaction would be like that. Your eyes widened in shock as he continues. "I mean, everyone got something they like, right? I don't think it's weird at all, you just want to enjoy something you like."

Ever since then, you would yap about him your favourite animes and mangas, and it got to the point where he's willingly to watch or read your recommendations, just so he can listen to you talk.

'It's adorable', he thought.

But then things changed when a new transfer student came into your school. Caelus....was it? Anyway, you got along with him when you saw a keychain of one of your favourite anime characters on his bag. You two ended up becoming friends, although he mostly hang out with March and Dan Heng, that didn't stop the two of you being 'best buddies with same interest.'

What you didn't realized was a certain puppy is jealous how close you were with Caelus. Guess who? That's right, it's Phainon!

Phainon always wondered what he did wrong to make you drift away from his sight. No- not that you ignore, neglected him or anything! It's just that you don't talk too much as you used to with him. He feels a little bit sad, but doesn't want to admit it. But everytime he watches you talking with Caelus, his heart ached at how you laugh with him, happily smiling at him while Phainon just watched the two of you interact together.

"Am I not good enough for you?" His words escaped from his lips while walking home with you. You immediately stop your track as you turned to face with Phainon. His expression seems to be serious when he set his eyes on yours

"What do you mean?" You asked while your voice filed with curiosity.

"You don't talk to me like how you used you." His voice was stern, a frown formed on his face as he step closer to you. "You didn't talk about your obsession to me anymore. You spent more time with Caelus ever since he transfered into this school. Are you replacing with me?"

Your eyes widened in shock at Phainon's words. You didn't actually consider his feelings, you made him feel.....left out just because you spent too much time with Caelus instead of Phainon, who would always listen to your stories no matter how ridiculous it can be sometimes.

"Phainon , I didn't know you feel that way." You softly muttered out while approaching him closer, your eyes never left his while your hands searched for his.

"You're always popular and have so many friends unlike me, but I didn't know you actually really cared about me. But if you want to talk to me again, then I'll-"

"I cared about you because I like you-!" He whispered your name.

You're completely speechless at his words. You didn't know what to say. But you could find the right words, he interrupt.

"Okay, wait, that sounds wrong." He cleared his throat. "What I mean is, I really cared about you because I love you."

Your face is a complete mess with red hue as you tries to process his words. Phainon held your hand and squeeze them tightly, looking straight into your eyes while blushing like a high school girl who's having her first crush.

"I genuinely wants to be your friend because how lonely you are, but the more time I spent time with you, I actually had fallen for you. I was so happy to listen to you talk about your interest non-stop, it really made my day. I was so jealous when you start hanging out with Caelus more instead of me. So that's why I'm telling you this before it's too late, I love you. Please be my lover."

You don't know what to say. You never thought about Phainon anything more than a friend. But why, when he confessed his feelings for you, your heart start skipping a beat while you feels dizzy from with sparkles surroundings around the two of you.

Oh.

You actually like him.

You actually love him back.

Before Phainon could say anything else, you immediately shut him up by hugging him tightly as you nuzzle against his shoulder, your arms wrapped around his tightly while hiding your blushing face.

"I- I like you too...." You managed to stutter out, feeling flustered from his confessions. "Sorry, I mean I l-love you too...."

You could feel Phainon's imaginary tail wagging around as he hugged you back. He feel like the happiest men in the world when you told him you love him back.

Winning an otaku's heart isn't easy, but his efforts had been payed off.

"Finally, these two are officially dating." March watched you and Phainon from a far distance, hiding nearby a bush with Caelus and Dan Heng. The three of them had already known about Phainon's little crush on you. It was pretty obvious by the way he glared at Caelus whenever you happily smiled at him.

"Well, at least I don't have to worry about that guard dog anymore." A soft sigh escaped from Caelus while March just softly chuckle at his comment.

"Now that things are settled, should we grab some ice creams to celebrate? My treat, of course." Dan Heng faced at his friends, soft smile forming on his lips while watching the two beaming happily.

"Yeah! Let's go, it's really hot here right now." March smiled happily as she stood up, dragging Caelus to a nearby convenient store as Dan Heng followed behind.

For some reason, watching these two together made Dan Heng's heart softened.

The man let out a soft groans when he feel soft hands touching his shoulder, gently shaking him as he slowly opened his eyes. He was greeted by the sight of your beautiful face. Your husband just let out a small chuckle before wrapping his arms around your small figure, bringing you closer to kiss chest as he starts kissing your forehead.

"I have a dream last night." You muttered out, happily nuzzling against his chest. "I wouldn't call it a dream though. Maybe just reminiscing our old memories."

"And good morning to you too." Phainon's expression softened when his hand reached out to the back of your hair, gently caressing them with his fingers while admiring you as you bathed in sunlight.

The smile on Phainon's face never once disappeared. He pulled you a little, just to see your face. "I see. What kind of memories?" He asked, his curiosity got ahead of him.

Maybe because he enjoys listening to you talking about your everyday.

"I dreamed out back in kindergarten when we did a play on stage, where I was a princess and you're my knight." You started telling him about your dreams. "You saved me from a big dragon, and we lived happily ever after.

A small laugh escaped from his lips as he sat up, pulling you alongside with him while making you sitting on his lap. "Yeah, I remember that. Cyrene still kept a recording of that in her old phone." Phainon softly smiled. "But we did lived happily ever after, didn't we?"

You just remained silent for a few moments. You pulled your husband closer, just to feel the warmth of his body. Phainon noticed the frown on your face, and his worries about you got in the way.

"My dear, what's wrong?" He asked in a gentle tone.

".....Phainon, I'm really sorry." Tears formed in your eyes as you looked up at him.

"I'm sorry- the truth is I regretted taking my own life that day. I shouldn't have let their words get through me- I didn't think about those who actually cared about me-!" You started to sob uncontrollably, wiping your tears away as they continue to fall onto your cheeks.

"I- I want to marry you- I want to start a family with you and-"

Your words were immediately cut off when Phainon's lips pressed against yours, pulling you closer into a desperate kiss. Instead of pushing him away, you just leaned closer before the two of you finally pulled away.

"Please." He gasped between his breath while whispering your name. "Don't say stuff like that.... It's not your fault, I wasn't there for you when you needed me the most." His hands desperately searched for yours, holding them tightly as he bring them to his cheeks. You could see tears forming in his eyes.

"I'm sorry. I wasn't the best fiance for you. The truth is I knew you were in pain that time, but instead of comforting you about it, I just choose to ignore it. I thought you need some space, but I was wrong. Just please, don't say stuff like that."

You remained silent for a moment before hugging him tightly, your arms wrapping around his huge torso while pushing him back onto the bed.

"....Can we stay like this for a moment before you wake up?" You asked, weakly smiling at him. Phainon just returned the smile as he pulls you closer. Your name escaped from his lips.

"Of course, my dear."

To my dearest Phainon.

By the time you're reading this, I'm probably gone forever. I wrote this to you, because I have a lot of things I've wanted to say to you, but I don't have enough time, but there is enough for one.

Every day, I just think about you. 'how is he doing?' 'I wonder what he's up too.' 'When can I see you again?'. Those words always replay on my mind whenever you weren't there for me.

I'm so happy to be able to meet you, growing up with you made me realize how much I needed you in my life. Having you as my childhood friend, best friend, boyfriend, fiance, is the best part of my life. I'm sorry that I had to leave you. If you fall in love again with another, I wouldn't really mind. But please don't forget about me in your heart.

Maybe, in another life, let's get married, and start a family together. We can live like a normal happy family. I hope that will really happened.

His cooking always make you carve for them. You can't help it! He's really a good chef. You will gladly saviour every single food he made just for you.

"I-It's Mydeimos's special deep-fried honey curd!" Your eyes sparkled at the sight of the delicious looking food. Mydei smiled a little when he noticed how happy you are.

"Go on. It's all yours." He crossed both of arms on his chest while you happily dig in.

"Thank you for the food..." You softly muttered out before taking a bite of the deep-fried honey curd. "It's delicious!" You smiled happily while continue eating, completely different from your usual tsundere personality.

"I'm glad my food is to your liking." Mydei's expression softened while he watch you eating.

For some reason, watching you eating his cooking will always made his worries fades away. Maybe because it was part of your charms.

Mydei noticed the small mess you had made on your cheeks. It was adorable, he thoughts.

He decided to lean closer, taking the crumb using his lips, which made you completely off guarded when you felt his lips against your cheeks.

"Well, good thing that bat of yours didn't hit me, or else I would probably fainted here by now!" She crossed both of her arms while glaring at your boyfriend. You decided to step in, standing right in front of him while smiling a the pink-haired girl.

"Please forgive my boyfriend. He just lose his memories and didn't know what's going on right now. I will apologize to you on his behalf."

Caelus widened his eyes in shock. Feeling a little bit guilty, he was about the step in when the girl spoke again. "Well....since he just wanted to protect you, I forgive him!" She smiled widely, when suddenly another person started approaching the three of you.

"March, what did I tell you about running off on your own?"

The tall man with black hair let out a small groan, facepalming himself while the pink-haired girl, or rather March as he called her, just let out an awkward laugh while fidgeting a little.

"I'm sorry, Dan Heng. I just saw these two from the distance and thought they're having troubles." She just smiled weakly at Dan Heng. He didn't say anything and just crossing both of his arms while observing both of you and Caelus.

Suddenly, he called out your name. "You must be the one that Asta mentioned. She's worried about you since she didn't see you at the Master Control Zone-"

You felt a shock through your whole body the moment your eyes met his.

Wow. Not even a day and you're already giving me my second soulmate. Very wonderful, Ai.

Dan Heng widened his eyes in shock. You could noticed the red hue on his face as he caught completely off guarded before finally finding his voice again.

"....My apologize. I just got caught off guarded for a moment." He looked away, still feeling flushed about what had just happened earlier.

"Anyway, my name is Dan Heng. I'm a member of Astral Express." He introduced himself.

"My name is March 7th! Just call me March. I'm also a member of the Astral Express." She follows after, smiling widely at the two of you.

"Nice to meet you two." You just politely smiled at the two. Then, you started pulling Caelus closer, holding his hand tightly while gesturing towards him.

"Also, this is Caelus, my-"

"Their boyfriend. Nice to meet you." He grin widely at you, causing you to blushed a little while feeling your heart skipping a beat.

But on the other hand, you noticed how Dan Heng immediately frowned when your boyfriend introduced himself. No, rather....he look disappointed? He just cleared out his throat before speaking again.

"I see..... it's a pleasure to meet you two." He weakly muttered out. "Also, March, can you take these two back into the Master Control Zone. Asta had also asked me to search for Arlan since she lost contact with him."

March just nodded her head as she placed both of her hands on her hips. "Sure! Leave it to me. You better be careful too, Dan Heng!"

Dan Heng just smiled softly as he nodded his head. But before he could leaved, you immediately walked up to him, holding on his hand tightly as your eyes locked into his.

"Uhm- actually, can I go too?" You asked, a small blush forming on your face as you tried to hide them, but failed miserably.

Both Caelus and March were completely caught off guarded by your request. Dan Heng on the other hand seems to be hesitating for a bit.

"....Are you sure you can go? I don't want to hurt you." He softly called out your name while looking down at your small figure. You just nodded your head while smiling gently.

"It's better if I come with you. What if somethings happened to you?"

Oh Aeons. Dan Heng can't really reject that face. He sighed as he finally let go of your hand, looking away to hide his flushed expressions.

"Alright then....if you insist. March, go ahead and take Caelus to Master Control Zone."

The pink-haired girl just smiled, but your boyfriend on the other hand seems to be unhappy about having to leave you alone. You noticed how he started frowning when you had to go.

"Oh Caelus dear...." You sighed as you walked right next to him before cupping his cheeks, gently bring him down so you can give him a small peck on his lips.

"I'll be back with you later , okay? I'll be safe, I promise." You just smiled. Your boyfriend just let out a small sigh before bringing you in his arms as he hug you tightly.

".....Fine. You better be careful."

Walking with Dan Heng is a little bit awkward. The atmosphere feels quiet than usual. You decided to walk besides him and start and conversation with Dan Heng.

"So....Dan Heng? Are you really that close with March?" You asked since you were a little bit curious about their relationship. It seems like he cares about her enough like a family.

"I do." He softly smiled. "She may be stubborn sometimes, but I actually care about her. March's weakness is that she likes to get involved in other people's business. ...Perhaps that's also her strength."

"That's nice. I like her already, maybe it's part of her charm." You let out small chuckles. Although, Dan Heng didn't say anything when he suddenly stopped in his track, causing you to stop walking while looking at him in confusion.

"Dan Heng , what's wrong?"

"....Nothing. I'm just curious how close you are with Caelus." He sighed.

"Oh. We just started dating today!"

"Pardon?"

His eyes widened in shock. You can almost see how Dan Heng's jaw almost dropped "I'm sorry, but didn't you say that he lost his memories?"

"Yeah. I just met him and he's like ''I love you.'' and I was like ''Okay let's date!''. That's basically the story."

Dan Heng doesn't really know how to react. He just let out a sigh while awkwardly speaking. "That's... interesting."

"I know right!" You giggled. "Although we just know each other for half an hour, I feel like there's going to be more for our relationship."

Dan Heng noticed the way you giggle. It was so damn adorable.

"I love you."

The two of you immediately remained silent at his words. Dan Heng immediately realized what he said, and how completely out of character he was (maybe because Ai is still a little bit confused about writing his character). He immediately cleared out his throat. "I'm sorry please forget what I said. It was very rude of me knowing you already have-"

Before he could finished his sentence, you immediately pulled him down and started kissing his lips passionately. Your hands reached out to his cheeks to cup them before pulling away. You could feel his own heart beating faster in your ears.

"Well...I guess we feel the same way then." You smiled, which caught him completely off guard.

Dan Heng hesitating for a bit before covering your hand against his. His touch is gentle, just like Caelus's.

"Is it really fine?" He asked, his voice a little bit shaky. "I mean....you already have a boyfriend..."

You softly hums as your hand leaned into his touch. "Don't worry. I'm sure Caelus will understand." You assured. "I will make sure the two of you are the most happiest man in the whole universe, not even aeons THEMSELVES will make you happy like how I did, I'll make sure of it."

Dan Heng just smiled, he brings your hand closer to his lips, kissing the palm while his eyes never once looked away from yours.

"That's right! You just have to travel across the universe to find them and live happily ever after. Easy, right?" The man right in front of you just smiled casually, as if he didn't 'cursed' you with 100 boyfriends. Not 10, but 100!

You just glared at Da Wei, crossing both of your arms while a frown formed on your face. Da Wei noticed the frown on your face and sighed as he facepalm himself.

"Okay, I get it. I know it's hard to deal 100 boyfriends at the same time, but let me tell you something." He smirked as he approached you, wrapping an arm around your shoulder while you just glared at him, clearly unamused.

"The soulmates I arranged you to is not your typical normal boyfriend everybody dreamed of. They are special in their own way, and they really, really, really, really, really love you a lot." He reassured.

You just scoffed as you slowly pulled him away, brushing of the spot where he had held you. "Yeah, sure. As if I'm going to believe you."

"But you we're shocked when I told you about your soulmates."

"Because what kind of nonsense is that?!"

Da Wei just sighed. He then looked at the time and laughed a little.

"Well, no matter how you try to deny it, you'll find out soon. You will feel a zing when you make eye contact with them." A random portal appears out of nowhere. Your eyes widened in shock as he suddenly jumped into it.

"Wait- Old man! Where are you going?!" You tried to catch up with him, but it was already too late. He had already disappeared into the portal when it closed.

"Fine! Let's see if this nonsense of yours are true."

Later on that same day, the Antimatter Legion somehow managed to attack the Space Station. As everyone managed to safely reach the Master Control Zone, you were stuck in the Storage Zone, and somehow found yourself in Herta's Rare Collection Room.... whatever you call it.

As you walked through the back of the room, your eyes widened in shock to see a man with grey hair, laying unconsciously on the floor. He doesn't seems like he works here. You immediately reached out to him, holding him in your arms to lay him in a more comfortable position.

"Hey, are you okay?!" You gently shake his shoulder, hoping that he's still alright. You checked his pulse, normal. There also aren't any signs of him getting injured.....

You let out a small sigh of relief when the man slowly opened his eyes. A soft smile formed on your face as you helped him sit up.

"Are you okay? I have water with me, hold up-"

You let out a small gasp when you feel a zing through your body, it's like an electric shock.

ZING!

Your eyes met his.

Is this what Da Wei meant by zing? No way, so he wasn't joking at all.....

It's real.

But now not's the time to be dramatic! Your soulmate just woke up after being unconscious. You helped him open a bottle of water before heading it out to him. He took a few sips before giving it back to you, letting out a small sigh.

"T-thank you...." He finally spoke. Damn, his voice is cute, you have to admit.

You just softly smiled as you nod your head back. "You're welcome! Things just got rough, huh?" You chuckle a bit while closing back the bottle lid. You introduce yourself to him before asking. "What's wrong name?"

The man with grey hair seems to be struggling a little, placing a hand on his forehead as he took some times to think before speaking again.

".....Caelus."

That's a nice name.

"I see, nice to meet you." You smiled. "Can you remember anything, like literally anything?" You asked, showing your concern to him. Instead, he just shook his head.

"I can't really remember anything." He softly groans while forcing himself to remember. But you immediately took his hand into yours, squeezing it tightly.

"Hey, it's okay. No need to force yourself!" You gently smiled. You swore you could see a small blush forming on his face. "If you don't remember anything, that's fine. Let's get back to the Master Control Zone first, okay? We need to get out of here before the Antimatter Legion starts to find us-"

"I love you." Caelus confessed.

The two of you just stare at each other, filling the atmosphere with silence. That was both of your face immediately redden after realizing what happened.

"I beg your pardon?!" Your eyes widened in shock as you immediately let go of his hand, hiding half of your face using your shoulder while keeping your gaze on him. Just what did Ai thinking while writing this? Isn't this way too fast?! It didn't even last a few minutes!

"Oh *banana*. I'm sorry- I'm really sorry, I didn't know what's wrong with me." He apologized, completely embarrassed of himself.

"But still, it's true." Caelus looked up at you. His face is stern and serious, although the blush is still there. "I really do love you the moment I saw you. I know it's weird since I just met you, but still, it's true. I really do love you. I can't help but think how kind and pretty you are the moment I opened my eyes...." He admitted, feeling completely embarrassed.

You just remained silent for a few moments. How....how can this boy be so cute?! Okay, maybe this isn't really bad than what she was expecting. Slowly, your hand reached out to his hand once more, squeezing them gently as you looked into his eyes.

"I-I love you too-!" You admitted, blushing like a high school girl who had gotten her first crush. Gosh, what's wrong with this series? It's literally chapter one and not even a few minutes after meeting the first soulmate and he already confessed his love for you. What a record.

You noticed the look on Caelus's face. He's red, super duper red. But then a small smile formed on his face as he slowly leaned closer, to the point you could feel his breath against you.

"C-can I kiss you....?"

Already?! At first, you are hesitating, but seeing the look on his face...how can you say no? You could feel your own heartbeat going faster as you nod your head without saying a word.

Caelus just smiled. He first kissed your cheeks, which made you feel butterfly inside your stomach, but yet you didn't hate it even though it feel foreign. Finally, he leaned closer and his lips crashed into yours. The both of you are completely red as you held him tightly around his neck while his hands on your waist.

His touch is gentle....

Finally, after what feels like eternity, the two of you finally pulled away, gasping for airs. A soft chuckle escaped from your lips as you hugged him tightly.

"You're weird, you know. Already dating the girl you just met." You softly muttered out. He just chuckle while whispering you name. "Well, I could also say the same to you."

Slowly, Caelus stood up, his hand never left yours as he drag you alongside with him. He winked while grinning widely.

"Now, mind showing the way out, lover?"

When Phainon first found out about your death, how you took your own life, he was devastated, shocked, upset, or maybe something even more, anything but happy. You're his precious friend, best friend, lover, and fiance. So why would you took your own life away?

It's been three years since the day you took your own life.

For the first few months, he would barely talk with anyone. He hadn't taken care of himself since then. It was so bad to the point that Aglaea had to arrange a counselor for him. And over the next few months, Phainon is back to his usual self again, except for the fact that he still feels empty in his heart.

Everyday, every night, he would question himself. Why did you take your own life away? Why didn't you tell him about your problems? Why didn't you talk, and open up to him?

Of course, some questions would remained unanswered. He had no choice, but to live on just for your sake.

Why did you had to take your own life away?

Phainon would visit your families sometimes. He would ask about their well-being, and maybe about you. They were also kind enough to have him the spare key to your room, to which he make use to it. Sometimes he would clean up your room, leaving no dust behind. Sometimes, he would fell asleep there until late at night without even realizing, hugging your favourite cardigan that filled with your scent.

Three years had already pass. He graduated university. He found a decent job which isn't too far away from his new house. But of course, still visit your room every week to do his daily clean up.

But then, Phainon found an old box right at the corner of your closet while cleaning your room. It was a little bit heavy and covered with dust, meaning the box has been there for years.

He decided to take the box and sit at the edge of your bed, wiping away the dust on top of it before opening them.

His eyes widened in shock, it was unexpected. He didn't think you would actually keep them since you don't really like taking pictures. But yet, you did.

It was your old camera. And pictures of the two of you together.

There was a picture back when the two of you are still children, playing in the sands while making a sandcastle. Another was when you're in middle school, making a huge rocket for a science project. Then there's a picture the two of you graduating high school together, taking pictures with the rest of your friends group with him by your side, smiling widely at the camera.

The picture of your first date together. You were kissing his cheek while Phainon were caught completely off guard. You look so happy, full of emotions.

Then, he saw it.

Phainon didn't even realized his eyes were filled with tears. At the corner of the box, he spotted a letter, a letter that were actually meant for him.

Your name escaped from his lips as he starts to sob uncontrollably, holding the letter tightly in his hand while the box sat on his lap. He couldn't believe it, that even after your death, you still keep something precious just for him.

"For my dearest, Phainon."

The poor man cried a lot to the point he fell asleep due to exhaustion, laying on your bed while imagining your small figure smuggling against him.

That day, Phainon had decided that he will never fall in love again.
