soupornovaa:
“Ah, I’m sorry about him.” Nova said presenting him with an apologetic bow. “He’s always a little hyper after school.” The taller man smoothed down his tie clearing his throat to keep the anxious metaphorical bile down.
sejun’s pretty tired today. his usual nights spent not getting enough sleep was even worse than usual, so much so that he spent a few hours in the morning air on top of the roof before sunrise smoking and reading. he hadn’t even really felt tired after then and decided he needed a walk throughout hongdae, getting something to eat and stopping by the little trinkets being sold on the street. he picked up a few things for eunsang, some groceries being sold by the old grannies and decided he should probably go home.
even with his exhaustion weighing down his muscles, when he runs into a small little thing being chased by their dad who looks way too young to be a dad. “so cute. is he your little brother?” sejun questions, reaching out to grab the baby’s fingers for a second before dropping them.
he looks at the small toy in his hand, a stuffed animal of a bear he thought looked like eunsang, with hearts for eyes and a sun on its fat tummy. “you want it?” he says with a small smile, holding it out for the baby. “i think i’m a psychic because i bought this thinking i’d run into a cute little baby in the hallway. but you have to promise to take care of him. i will be checking in from time to time, sejun says seriously. “how old is he? he’s so adorable. if you ever need a hand with him... i have a pretty good baby sitting resume, i used to do it all the time my freshman year of college.”

bomsfm:
it's only when he's making his way down to the elevator that bom realizes he'd forgotten to stop to pick up his mail, and his father had mentioned a few days ago that he had a few bills for the restaurant mailed to his apartment for bom to take care of. the thought sours some of the peace he's gathered, but one glance at the cheerful fruit at his side and bom powers through. when he gets to the lobby though, he spies a familiar figure. well, a figure both he and his bike are familiar with. bom plasters an even larger smile on his face and skips up to his neighbor.
"tomato?" he offers, holding the basket out. "good for the bones."
sejun believes most bad things that happen to him are apart of some cosmic karma. the big things, he knows are bad decisions and probably intergenerational trauma handed down to him from his parents, but the smaller stuff like getting locked out in 105 degree weather or getting hit by a bike going a little too fast down itaewon’s busiest streets, has to be karma. (he doesn’t want to also think about how slow he was to move out of the way because of his lack of sleep and overindulgent habits from the night before.)
he stops by to get the mail on the way up from his trip to the corner store, picking up a few essentials for himself and eunsang and he sees the harbinger of bad karma smiling at him and holding a tomato (?) out to him like an olive branch of some sort.
sejun takes the tomato slowly. “are they really good for the bones? because when i found out milk doesn’t actually make your bones stronger, i felt this serious overwhelming disappointment. like if something so pivotal to our childhood could be a lie, then what else is, you know?” sejun takes a breath, putting his mail in the grocery bag and taking a good look at the tomato. “also i need healthier bones, you know, just incase of random rogue bikes.”

hi friends! it’s mars again (he/they) coming to you from my second muse sejun! as always, you can like this post and i’ll send you a message (discord again available upon request) so we can get started for opening! under the cut will be more info about my boy too!
sejun was born a middle child in a pretty large size family. all his siblings went on to be doctors or lawyers (which is standard practice in his family) except for him, who went on to study art.
before he went into school, however, he joined the military and it sent his mental health on a major decline but somehow, he made it through. this only made school harder when he applied for university and he began to feel really lost and stressed out.
sejun’s unfortunately pretty high strung and cynical. he doesn’t really know when to stop and relax so most of the time, he’s on edge.
tw alcoholism / which is why he has some what of an alcohol problem / tw end
his family has absolutely no idea that he dropped out and he’s trying to keep it that way because he doesn’t want to be the family disappointment x2
so he’s been living in itaewon, in apartment #701 and working a couple jobs as a bartender to stay afloat
another muse of mine who smokes like a chimney
he’s also very much into material things and loves expressing himself with fashion so he’s always very well dressed even when he’s hungover and feels like shit
he’s very friendly even if he’s always stressed, very extroverted and loves talking to people and making friends! so if you see him on the roof smoking, you’re definitely able to say hello, he won’t mind
other than that, he has no idea what he’s doing with his life and he doesn’t want to talk about his future plans or anything to do with school or job careers thanks
