So I haven’t taken it to Tumblr in almost 4 years and the same 15 people are still furiously posting. I don’t know why but I find that oddly comforting.

Coming out of Tumblr retirement to mourn the loss off of Ms. Black. Not too familiar with her body of work but I recall she did have a kickass part in Gypsy 83.

Haven't Tumbled in quite some time. Amazed to discover many of you still follow. Since I've a bit of free time this weekend, perhaps, I'll tumble 4 Yas!

Looking back, the Galleria was never really that upscale of a mall. I mean, J.C.Penney  was 1 of its original anchors! But it was considered relatively expensive at the time. Opening in the early 80's, it was the scene of many faux John Hughes teen moments. So I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that it has come to this. Deb Shops is one thing but a 99 cent store in the midst of all that white skylight splendor is really a bit too much to process. As a convenient shortcut from my bus stop to the better shopping district, I often find myself in awe at the sheer emptiness of it all.
