Hi, I noticed that there are errors regarding the timeframes of the Rockets' first three uniform sets from their Houston years. The jersey set that you have listed as being used from 1971-73 was actually only used in their first season in Houston, so from '71-'72. The second uni set was used from '72-'76 (not sure which years the number was centered vs. offset to one side). And lastly, the third jersey set was used from '76 onward. Thanks in advance for the corrections.

Love your page so much... Just thinking of some really cool additions to it would be 1. Advertisement patches that were introduced to jerseys in 2017-18. 2. Finals patches on jerseys for teams in the finals. 3. Black stripes that were added when a death occurred in an organization and 4. any other special commemorative patches ever on NBA jerseys. I know these would take a ton of work and you are already working on so much for this site like the backs of jerseys and all star jerseys, so thanks!!

Thank you! I’ve actually moved to a new site: bballjerseys.com. Now to answer your questions:

1. I’ve decided not to add Advertisement Patches since they change way too often, and since I don’t like them on the jerseys. For single game ad patches like in the All-Star Game though, I’ll place it.

2. I have a series on my instagram @nba.jersey.database which I post during the Playoffs where I put all the NBA finals patches!

3. I plan on making a blog post in the new website about these various patches. Might take a while though but that’s definitely on the list of things for me to add.

It’s been a while! I just wanted to update everyone here on the status of this Tumblr Blog. I’m sure you guys have a bunch of questions on why I haven’t been posting, especially if you don’t follow me on Instagram.

First off, I’ll continue posting here once I figure out how to link it to IG. That way, I can sync posts to keep it active. BUT it won’t be as organized as this site has been for the past few years. It’ll actually be more like a blog than a database.

So, where will the database move to? Well that’s the next big announcement! For the past year, I have been working on a new website. A better home for these jerseys that will hopefully make it more user-friendly for those of you who use this database as a reference. Tumblr’s coding restrictions just made it too difficult for me to maintain and present the jerseys the way I wanted. I’m sure you all will enjoy it once it’s out! If you have any questions feel free to DM me here or on Instagram.

I just wanted to post these here for now as a thank you for all of you guys who supported me throughout the years with your kind words and meticulous corrections, sticking through the ups and downs of my inconsistent posting. I hope to see you all in the next stage of the evolution of this fan made database! Stay tuned for the 3rd and 4th parts!
