2. “hey hey, calm down. they can’t hurt you anymore.”7. “well, that’s tragic.”

mark comforts you after a nightmare about your past.

it was something always sort of in the back of your mind, to be honest. these sorts of things take a long while to get rid of completely, and even then there’s a small chance of that. but you managed to make it through, because mark was here for you and helped you grow and heal from everything.

you didn’t exactly have the greatest nor nicest experience in school and really you only looked forward to breaks because then you could spend time with your boyfriend, mark. he came into your life around a year or so ago and it has been the best thing that has happened to you in a long time. he has breathed life into a once meek and dead-looking world to you. he’s changed your perspective on so many things. youll always appreciate him. of course since receiving that change of perspective, you’ve come to learn that your past certainly wasn’t the worst thing you could experience and that has helped you to cope with what you went through. it wasn’t on your mind much anymore, what those people said and did to you, and you now just focus on the present and making memories with your boyfriend. though, everyone has bad head days and sometimes you just can’t help but to be negative and focus on the past..

today, unfortunately, was one of those days and what made it worse was mark has planned to sleep over that day. you didn’t have the heart to tell him how you were really feeling in fear being a bother and ruining the fun, so you just decided to fake it til you make it. it doesn’t take much faking anyways, since mark can make you so happy on his own. everything was fine until it came time for bed for both of you. while you were fine during the day, and could manage to cope on your own, you were known to have frequent nightmares over that time. you were certain tonight you were going to have a nightmare, and that made you hesitant on sleeping with mark. you didn’t want him to annoy or worry him over something small like a nightmare, even if they got too hard to handle sometimes.

“y/n?” mark questioned, his voice soft and careful, “are you alright?” you snapped out of your thoughts, realizing you had just been staring down at the foot of the bed the entire time. you nodded quickly, giving a shaky “y-yeah, yeah” before climbing with him. the two of you faced each other, and mark pulled you close to him, his one arm holding you securly around the waist and the other resting itself under your pillow. this made you feel somewhat safer, thankfully, but you still couldn’t shake the feeling of getting a nightmare tonight… the dreaded time finally came, where mark turned off the lamp next to your bed, and gave you a kiss on the forehead with a sleepy, mumbly “goodnight, i love you.” you laid your head on mark’s chest, and closed your eyes, hoping that you could handle whatever hellish thing your subconscious threw at you.

the first thing you remember is walking through the halls of your old school. you had asked to use the restroom, and knowing the people here they were probably waiting for you near all the restrooms that were close to your class, so you had to go use one that was on the other side of the school. you did your business, and after washing your hands you looked in the mirror, staring hard at your reflection, searching for a reason why the people here would ever be so obsessed with harassing you. just then the door to the bathroom was kicked open and a few people piled in.

“well well well, who do we have here! it’s y/n!” one of them said, the one who usually did the actually harassing. the other people just watched and snickered. “what brings you to this side of the school? isn’t your class on the other side right now?”

you couldn’t bring it in you to look up from the sink and answer. your hands gripped the sides of the skin to keep your legs from caving in under pressure. “oh! were you trying to avoid us? well, that’s tragic… looks like we found you.” the person sneered from behind you. there was a sudden force from the side and you were pushed to the ground. you cringed, knowing that these floors weren’t exactly the cleanest, but mostly because you were now being kicked at. “maybe -you should- try and - stop me- instead of- being - so - pathetic!” the attacker said, teeth clenched between kicks. you simply put your hands over your head and hoped for it to end soon. and it seemed that your wish came true, because as soon as you did that, they stopped. you slowly turned, taking your hands away from your face to see if the left, when you were suddenly and very painfully met with the under side of the attackers shoe.

you shot up awake with a gasp right afterwards, your breath very uneven and your heart pounding. a hand gently found it’s way to your shoulder and you jumped, turning to see your bf looking concerned and worried out of his mind. “hey.. hey, it’s alright..” mark said, his voice barely above a whisper, “did you have a nightmare?” you nodded, your eyes starting to tear up because your heart refused to calm down. “oh baby..” he whispered, immediately taking you in his arms when he saw how upset you were. you melted into him, taking comfort in his arms around you and letting whatever you had backed up go. you sobbed into his shoulder and he brought a hand up to run it through your hair. you sobbed harder at his kindness, harder at how even after escaping all that it still manages to haunt you somehow. mark spoke up when you began to choke on your sobs, “hey, hey, calm down.. they can’t hurt you anymore.” he brought your face to his and wiped your cheeks down since they were so wet with tears. you looked up at him, wondering how much of a mess you must’ve looked. he frowned only slightly before pressing a kiss to your forehead. “i promise they can’t get to you anymore. not with a macho bf like me around.” he said, somehow with a 100% serious face. you, however, couldnt help but crack a smile through your erratic breaths. he laughed, glad to know his humor can still cheer you up in this situation.

he held you sitting upright until your breathing calmed down, and then layed you both back down, his hands never leaving your sides. this time, he held you closer and tighter than he did before, pressing kisses to the top of your head every few minutes until you fell asleep. you both agreed to talk about it in the morning as neither of you had enough energy right now, but he’ll be damned if he wasn’t gonna look out for you and make you feel better right now. it’s what he did best, after all.

49. “safety first? what are you? FIVE?”

to say that felix was “just a little clumsy” was an understatement. yes, he was a good dancer and all, but as soon as that boy has wheels under his feet all of that confidence and balance melts away to reveal the true little, whiny 5 yr old he is. it would also be an understatement to say that you found his whining “just a little bit cute”. given the chance, you would have that boy on heelys, roller skates, a skateboard, ANYTHING for a long period of time just to hear his cute whining.

so when your friend suggested that the two of you go rollerblading you immediately took him up on the offer. the idea, you thought, was a bit random from him but he explained that he was going to prove to you that he can, infact, stay upright on a set of wheels for longer than 10 seconds! you doubted him absolutely but he swore that he could do it this time so you decided to not question him further and just see how well he could do.

the fated day eventually came and you and felix met up at the rink. he came with a confident smile and a spring in his step. “somebody’s excited for roller-blading today,” you commented with a smirk, quickly returning the hug he gave you as a greeting. “well, how could i not be when im gonna ABSOLUTELY KILL at skating! just you watch,” he retorted with a laugh and crossed arms. you rolled your eyes, already knowing the outcome of this ordeal before it even happens. after chatting briefly, you both headed inside the rink and went straight to the rental desk. you managed to cop some cute red ones and felix went with some baby blue ones.

as you were getting geared up with a helemet and safety pads that the staff had provided, you noticed that felix had alright suited up and was waiting almost impatiently, tapping both his foot and finger rapidly against the table. you looked up at him only to see that he had just the blades on. “lix,” you said, looking up at him with a raised brow and mild concern, “aren’t you gonna put on your safety gear…”

he stopped starting off into space at the sound of your voice, and looked down at you with his chin in his hand. “why would i do that.” he answered blankly. “because?? safety first??” you shot back, sitting up straight and giving your friend a confused look. is he ASKING to break his head open or?

felix genuinely laughed, “safety first? what are you? five?” he said, his smirk somehow growing even more confident and mischievous than before. “i don’t need useless stuff like that to weigh me down, y/n. ive got this.” and you some how rolled your eyes harder than before, suggesting that he should at least put on a helmet just in case. he saw your point, so he complied and put it on, and the two of you made it to the rink. you pushed off and rolled effortlessly forward, staying near the barrier but made sure to put some distance between you and him so you could revel in his “skills”.

the boy watched you push off with easy and for the first time that day he felt a little discouraged, but he quickly shook it off and began to hype himself up. he spent all night last night looking at tutorials and roller-blading compilations of youtube so he was certain he was a master now. he just had to put everything he learned into action! felix took one last deep breath before pushing off into the rink, somehow managing to keep his balance without making a fool out of yourself. eventually, he could move without having to stretch his arms out for balance, which impressed you greatly. you couldn’t help but raise a brow and laugh, cheering him on from further away. he smiled warmly and genuinely, not caring about showing off anymore and just happy that he could do this now. he pushed one foot in front of the other until he got some speed and eventually caught up with you, intertwining your hands in his and laughing. “did you see that! i looked so good and cool didn’t i, y/n??” he questioned excitedly, his eyes literally sparking with happiness. you giggled, happy to still see a cute side of him today.

“yes, you looked very cool felix. but the real question is, can you keep up with me?” you pushed away from him suddenly, and skated on ahead while laughing mischievously. felix gasped, genuinely offended, shouting a “not fair!” before attempting to chase after you. his skills were fairly better than you thought though, and he managed to get catch up quite fast, and pass you while sticking his tongue out at you. suddenly you were the one chasing a wild felix around the ring. that however, didn’t last long either, you saw him attempt to do some sort of 360 spin before slipping up and falling down. you gasped, catching up as quick as you could to check up on him. thankfully he didn’t seem to be seriously injured or anything.

you were about to scold the boy when it finally happened. “ ₐwww ᵢ wₐₛ dₒᵢₙg ₛₒ gₒₒd! ₜₕᵢₛ ₐᵢₙ'ₜ fₐₐᵢᵢᵢᵣᵣᵣ” felix whined, in possibly the cutest baby voice ever. you laughed, probably harder than you should have, as hugged him and helped him stand up. “what’s so funny..” he continued to whine while placing his head on your shoulder. “nothing,” you giggled into his chest, “you’re just really adorable.” felix was glad you were hugging him so you couldn’t see the dumb grin and small blush he probably had on his face now.

“whatever, last one to do 3 laps around the rink has to pay for lunch.” he said before literally pushing you away and skating full speed ahead. “HEY NOT FAIR!” you yelled at him, the two of you laughing without a care in the world. needless to say, felix payed for a lot of pizza, nachos and cotten candy that day.

stray kids as ur friends (hyung line)

a/n: lol it's been so long but here's like a pt. 2 to stray kids as ur friends!! featuring the hyung line!!! i hope you all enjoy!

stray kids as ur friends (maknae line)

hyung line let's go! if you didn't know the hyung like consists of changbin, minho, bangchan, and woojin. i wouldn't say this combination is as loud as the maknae line but it certainly is just as lively.

you and bangchan are the loudest, with changbin or minoh joining in occasionally. even though youre hanging out with some of the older members, they end up being a bit more childish than the other line because of chan. you all love it though, because he's so funny and loveable.

and weird. definitely weird. but you still love him all the same.

since woojin and chan are adults, you can do a lot more stuff and go to a lot more different places because they can drive! you, minho, and changbin BEG to be taken places all the time.

more often than not you guys end up staying home because chan is broke from the maknae line. unless you got gas money, y'all ain't going anywhere.

that's fine though, because you 5 have just as much fun at home. a lot of it is spent doing karaoke or doing bad rap battles, considering chan and changbin are the only rappers.

"uh, uh, changbinne your rap is BAD, are you upset? well stay MAD-"

"y/n, stop, ohmygod, you're so bad."

"it's kinda cute tho, chan." "yeah true."

aside from that, karaoke is more you're strong suit since youre more confident in your singing ablility than your rapping ability.

it's an understatement to say that they cheer you on when you sing.

they have like, fan chants and everything. it's so great. and loud.

the praise is nice though! even though you could never compare to woojin's ability.

speaking of woojin, he's probably the only responsible one in the group and is the one that saves the rest of you from getting in too much trouble.

there was the time chan tried to climb into the kangaroo exhibit in the zoo, the time when minho tried the kiki challenge with changbin when changbin was barely learning how to drive.

the time you and the rest of the hyung gang got lost at 1 AM trying to walk home from the convinence store.. that was literally just down the road.

you're all very, very grateful for him!

when you all aren't either getting into random trouble outside or having karoke sessions, you're usually watching t.v or movies and having sleepovers and stuff!

chan and woojin cook dinner and it's DELICIOUS and you and the rest would love to help except last time you did minho and changbin nearly caught the kitchen on fire.

"hyung why does it smell like.... live fire."

"i dunno i just put the food in the oven."

"how hot did you set the oven.."

"400."

"FARENHIEGHT FOR CELECIUS"

"d-does it make a difference, y/n?"

"YES IT DOES!"

needless to say you 3 just work on the dishes afterwords now! chan and woojin usually set up the movie during that time.

horror movies are ABSOLUTELY OFF LIMITS, which left a few members sort of annoyed but romcoms and sci-fi manage to suffice.

chan being the OLD MAN he is falls asleep immediately and you take the opportunity to draw on his face. minho busts up about it it's fun!

by the end of the movie you all end up in one big cuddle pile and it's s o f t.

there's not really a group chat between you all since you're dealing with the Never Checks Their Phone Line (save for like, minho) so you all just text individually. still a lot of laughs tho!!

since the hyungs are a bit closer to adulthood they are able to offer you more advice whenever you have a problem. they always make sure you feel comfortable talking about serious life stuff with them!

and of course if you are just feeling sad and need some cheering up they are MORE than happy to come over and just sit and cuddle and talk. they literally love you like a little sister. you are their Baby™

(baby y/nnnnnnn is a common phrase said amongst the boys)

and they trust you to do the same as well! which you do! all in all it's a little happy family that you love very much with your whole heart!!

Lost in You (Part 2)

Jaemin x Reader

Genre: Angst, aaaaaangst, romance

A/n: yeah I’m a horrible person for forgetting to add the 2nd part of jaemin’s one shot so here it is-what can I say jaemin makes me wanna write angst lol

Part 1

‪ When Saturday rolls around, the two of you met up at the entrance of the fair, Jaemin- who cleaned himself up a bit but not too much( he didn’t want to seem like he was waiting for this) glances over at you and was taken aback at your appearance. You looked pretty- you were always pretty, but today you decided to wear a very nice outfit with a new hairstyle and an air of confidence and something he hadn’t quite ever seen from you before. You greeted him with a bright welcome, and the two of you had striked up a conversation immediately as the two of you entered the gates of the fair.

In that time, the two of you had gone through many rides and games from roller coasters to shooting clowns with water guns at a booth-where he won you a giant stuffed animal- and eating about 2 dozen hot dogs between the both of you in the span of 6 hours.

Jaemin was having a wonderful time with you, and he was thinking about when he should find the time to confess.

The sun had already began to go down when the fair was filled with bright and loud neon lights, and a large crowd all around the festival, the two of you were seated at the eating area, you with vanilla ice cream, and Jaemin eating a melon bar. It was peaceful, Jaemin though as the two of you were together while your surrounding environment was in the background between this moment he had with you. He glanced at you while you were looking away and he couldn’t help but be amazed that someone as beautifully you walked into his life.

It seemed to remind him of what his entre plan was for being here, so Jaemin coughed to gather your attention so that he could finally get things going.

“So,he started, “ wanna go to the Ferris wheel as our last stop? All these hotdogs are going to come out if I get on one more roller coaster.”

You had responded happily with, “Of course, it’s a great way to end the night here.”

He wasn’t sure with the way his heart rate accelerated causing him a moment of euphoria is he heard that you were catching his drift, or he was reading way to into it.

The two of you had begun your walk to the Ferris wheel when Jaemin heard you shout rather very excitedly to a person who came before you to.

“Jeno!Oh my god you’re here?!” You screamed and practically jumped to Jeno’s arms as he hugged you back, seeming to be also pleased with meeting you here.

Jaemin wasn’t sure if he was more mad at the fact that you hugged Jeno like that or that he wasn’t sure what type of relationship the two of you had to be doing that.

Which is why Jaemin was caught off guard- having zoned out for the entire time - when you turned to him to let him know you were leaving with Jeno to go him back home-“it’s getting late Jaemin, but thank you for taking me out here I had a good time!” Before he could muster out a word, you and Jeno walked around him back towards the opposite way where the entrance was, blending in with the crowd.

For a time, Jaemin stood still.

Many things were running through his mind, all the excuses you could have made for leaving with Jeno, for not going on the Ferris wheel with him. He had convinced himself that you were aware of his feelings and didn’t think it was the right time and place to address it, yeah that had to be it.

Pulling out his phone from his pocket, it was already 8pm, and he found himself sluggish and ready to hit the sack.

He was about to turn and heat for the gate when he took one last look at the Ferris wheel, and ditched the first thought completely, wanting to go in this ride like he intended to in the beginning.

Once seated, Jaemin went through his photo album that he had of the two of you, reminiscing all the good times he spent with you, wondering what would have happened if you had stayed and gotten on the ride too.

It wasn’t until he looked up from his screen that Jaemin felt like everything had seemed to stop and burn.

Because you hadn’t gone home at all, no, you were in the cart in front of him with Lee Jeno.

Kissing him.

He was frozen, eyes shaking and his chest feeling as if it was about to burst. He couldn’t describe what he was feeling at the moment. All he saw was white. He felt like a fish out of water, struggling to breath in the confined cart at the top- he needed to get out. So when you and Jeno got out first hand in hand, he bolted the other way the second his door was opened. His shoes slid against the cement while he rushed back to his house on foot, the adrenaline allowing him to not stop. When he ad finally made it, it was already 11PM, and he quickly shut his door and rested against it, clutching his head and sliding down.

He had been a fool, a fool for believing that he had any chance with you.

He should have known that he was getting his hopes up, that he was reading way too much into things that didn’t need it, that you were not going to reciprocate his feelings.

It is at this point, Jaemin breaks and the tears fall.

His sobs crash horridly all over his body, his lungs unable to properly take in oxygen because of his sporadic heaving. All at once , Jaemin was experiencing everything he hated about himself in a higher scale.

He felt out of it, and especially he felt like he ruined everything.

It only seemed to break his heart more when you sent him your final text of the night, effectively closing yourself off to him in the way he’s always wanted you- but he knew from the beginning, he just didn’t want to admit it, that he never had a chance with you.

He would never be enough in your eyes, and to the people around him. No would would ever take his feelings into account and try to understand him like he had for others, time and time he had been let down, but he always forgave. Because he hated seeing people unhappy because of him, so he made sure to not show it to anyone. He had made a mistake in showing his weakness to you. Na Jaemin had no clue what to do in that moment, because all he knew what that he wasn’t worth anyone’s time anymore-he wasn’t anyone’s first choice.

Na Jaemin has always been one to sacrifice

his own happiness for the sake of others.

The exact reason being he knows he’s not enough for someone, because there will always be someone more qualified, more handsome, more charismatic than Jaemin is as a whole person.

But even so, he has never seemed to regret his decision, regardless of the recent nights crying against his bed, wearing his voice so raw that it was impossible to speak. From the constant trips to the fridge to get an ice pack to reduce the swelling of his puffy pink eyes, to the ache in his chest that never seemed to leave, reminding him that it was only fair; there was no reason to be happy.

He still felt happy because she smiled brightly.

Jaemin placed his phone down on his night stand next to his bed, letting out a sigh of relief when his offer was accepted with little to no failure. He had been planning on asking you for some time now- two weeks to be exact, ever since he first saw advertisements across town about the fair for this week only. Upon having this new information, he quickly looked at his upcoming schedule over the next two weeks to make sure he had free time on the weekend after his tennis matches, studying, and plans with him and the boys-who seemed to drag him everywhere without caring if he said no.

Truthfully, he had been having a gnawing thought in the back of his mind these past two weeks. Rather loud and pounding against his brain, and instead of acknowledging it, decided to bury it with other things to forget about it.

Na Jaemin was not the type to deal with his problems head on. Especially when the problem had to do with you.

The thing that has been causing him to lose sleep is to be quite frank, is that he was planning on confessing his feelings for you.

Jaemin, although teased about being a flirt and womanizer, was actually very selective in choosing who he liked. He did not fancy everyone who told him they were head over heels, nor the ones that had status and a plethora of friends that claimed to say “they would be the hottest couple in school.” Rather, Jaemin was very closed off with his feelings, and only let only a few people in. The tennis team were his best friends all 6 of them (dreamies they decided to call themselves), knowing them for 4 years had undeniably allowed time for them to warm their way into Jaemin’s trust and eventually be known as some of the people he cared deeply about. If one thing was certain is that Jaemin never had a legitimate crush.

But then it changed when you came into the group.

The beginning of the summer a little over 10 months ago, was when you appeared to Jaemin’s tennis team. Painfully awkward, small but polite, we’re his first thoughts of you when you introduced yourself to the team, asking if you could join. You had no prior experience, but you had really enjoyed seeing the sport on television and wanted to learn and play. He was apprehensive at first, because he had thought you were just another girl in his school wanting to join only to flirt with the members-himself included- then drop out after 1 practice match. The team captain Mark, had carefully taken consideration after asking questions and what your intentions were, and after seeing you were being truthful allowed you in.

At that point on from practices to meet ups, you became an official member of the team.

The first time Jaemin talked to you was after one of the practices for an upcoming match in the same week, you had already gotten to know all the boys, but Jaemin was quite nervous about talking to you alone. Sure when the team was together he’d crack some dumb jokes and tease you, but he never had the opportunity to get to know the real you. He didn’t understand why he had wanted to know, because you were average, and a good teammate, but something was tugging in him to get to know you on a deeper level. To find out why you’re you.

So when Jaemin walks up to you to walk you home after putting all the equipment in the shed, and with you grinning from ear to ear with your eyes twinkling from the sunset reflecting in your eyes when you accepted, was the first time Na Jaemin felt his heart flutter and ache slightly.

He did not know this was the beginning of him falling in love.

Days turned into months, the two of you becoming closer than ever, with consonant hang outs after practice, meeting up for lunch with or without the group, to regular texting, the relationship between the two of you had advanced into a special friendship.

Throughout the time that Jaemin has been given to learn more about you and vice versa, he began to piece together all the things about you that confused him. You weren’t like the other people in his school that saw him for only his looks and skills. You didn’t see him as Na Jaemin the tennis ace, the heartthrob of the school. Instead you saw him as Na Jaemin, the idiot that sleeps through his alarm that you send 20 calls so that he would get to school on time, the one who leaves his wallet at home so Mark would pay for his food at McDonald’s-which Mark says he’ll never do again, but he does- every time, the one who feels pressured to do well because his teachers and peers in a high pedestal who couldn’t have room for failure, the one who cried against your shoulder when his parents scolded him because he let his grade slip in history for playing instead of studying.

With all the imperfections Jaemin had, you still saw him as human.

You had continued to support him in his times of need, always kind in your words and never blaming him. You had always come to accept the way he was and help him grow.

The first time you hugged him after a night of him crying after losing a tennis match, reassuring him that it was okay, was the day he realized he was in love with you.

From then on, he didn’t know what to do with this new realization that he had loved someone, it was a different feeling when it came to his friends and family. This one causes his heart to crash against his rib cage violently, to make him stutter (which he has never done), to him making excuses to come see you wherever you were.

He knew he was acting as a lovesick fool,trying hard to impress you, to be someone that you would find ideal within him, so that you could also return his feelings. And for a while he thought it was working, at times he swore he could feel as if the moments where you two were alone spoke your true feelings, or even when you told him things you had told no one else. All this led up to him believing that you saw him the same way as he saw you.

It had never occurred to him that you were in love with someone else the entire time.

·         Your parents used to tell stories about how everyone was destined to be with someone that made them whole, and that you would know the minute you spoke with them

·         This was called “crossing” bc many people actually met their soulmates IRL

o   and when u met them it felt as if you were pulled together

o   soulmates were shown to have matching scars on their bodies

  ·         so you knew you had a soulmate because they always got hurt or did something dumb

·         one time you woke up with a giant black bruise that showed your soulmate probably,,broke their leg

·         as a teen they were more frequent so you guessed they did athletics since u didn’t play out much

·         some of your classmates would tease you because you haven’t discovered your soulmate

·         it was common to have already met them

·         so one night after studying you were a bit down worried, “ will I never meet them?”

·         you lied down onto your bed when you just started talking to yourself when you hear this D E E P voice break through the SILENCE

nct’s reaction to jaemin with a hickey (requested)

anon requested: is it bad that i kinda want jaemins reaction to be continued cause i wanna know what would happen if the rest of the members found out

a/n: okay so this is a bit of a part 2 to the hickey reaction since anon requested it! its not really in any sort of specific style, i just wrote it out natrually. sorry if any of the reactions for the members are weird or dont seem accurate, im not too well versed into all the members of nct. i still hope you enjoyed!

jisung's and chenle's reaction are pretty different. chenle is probably the most innocent and oblivious when it comes to these things, so he's not really freaked out by it as he's more curious. he'd probably question poor jaemin more than judge him. "so did she just like kiss that spot a bunch and it showed up? or like bite? suck? did it feel weird? how do you get rid of it?" lele wouldn't realize the questions he was asking were so embarrassing until he saw how red his hyung's face was getting, to which he couldn't help but to giggle because it was so strange seeing jaemin so flustered. jisung's reaction however is more along the lines of not caring with a bit of teasing. he's the youngest, but knows more than chenle (i'd like to think at least) so he knows sort of how all that stuff works, but really has no interest in it as of now. he's not really grossed out by it either, but pretends to be for the sake of teasing his hyung. it wouldn't be too much teasing either, since he also noticed how embarrassed jaemin was getting over this whole incident and he really didn't want to hurt his hyung's feelings. "i can't believe hyung is already at that level with a girl.. dare i even say he's ready for marriage now."

renjun isn't really that surprised by it, to be honest, since he knows how flirty jaemin can be. he honestly just warns him to be careful and to not take things too fast, but he's not too serious about that. jeno feels similarly, but is probably only surprised at the fact that it's jaemin with the hickey and not his partner. he may question his friend about it a little bit, nothing too invasive, just how he personally felt about it and leave it at that. 

the two 127 members, johnny and yuta would probably have very similar reactions but go about it differently. yuta a surprised that one of the younger members is already doing that sort of stuff at a young age (well, young to him, since he is one of the older members), but he doesn't think he should be scolded over it. he's not exactly the closest to jaemin since he had a year long break, but he does take the time to tell him that it's okay and to not mind the other's teasing too much. johnny on the other hand would be one of the few members to question taeyoung directly on his sort of harsh scolding to the boy. perhaps it's because he grew up in America, where this stuff isn't as much as a big deal or the fact that it was done when dream wasn't having any big promotions anyways. he just didn't see it as a huge deal, like he was a teen and teens like to experiment with new things. "as long as they didn't do anything else, i think it's fine, hyung... try not to go too hard on him, he's still young and learning, y'know?"

heaven forbid lucas finds out... him being such a big fan of dream, he'd be so hyped for jaemin but also be incredibly invasive without even knowing. he'd shake his hand, calling him "such a man now", asking how it felt and what else they did. he doesn't know he being so inconsiderate, he's just too excited to notice. jungwoo would probably be the one to try and calm him down and remind him to that he's a hyung and he has to set a good example. jungwoo has a mother aura just like taeyoung, but he'd probably be a lot gentler about it. he'd tell him to brush off all the teasing, as they're members and they're just trying to make light of the situation so he wouldn't feel too bad. but he's also remind him of his status as an idol, casually, implying that he should be more careful in the future. 

winwin & doyoung have pretty different reactions to be honest. doyoung is pretty close to most of the younger members, so he feels like he needs to be there to educate them on these sorts of things, but also let them know that they should probably wait a bit longer until they really start doing anything like this. he wants to find that perfect middle ground of both support but also scolding so that he gets his message across, but it just seems too difficult to do without leaning towards one side or the other. i think he’s the type to just sit jaemin down and have a real conversation with him about the whole thing, but not like a parent scolding a child, something more like an older brother talking to his younger one. winwin isnt the closest to the younger members except for chenle and renjun, so he probably feels a bit awkward and out of place to be scolding the poor boy. similiarly to yuta, just patting his back saying not to mind the other’s teasing about it and to be more careful in the future. deep down he really does care about all his members, but the language barrier makes it a hard to express that. nevertheless he still makes an effort to do this in private with jaemin so its impacted more. 

kun & taeil’s reaction i say are pretty similar. taeil is closer to some of the younger members than kun is but ultimately they are both closer to the older members. this doesnt mean they care about the younger ones any less, it just makes it harder for them to talk about serious topics like this with them (kun especially considering the language barrier). taeil is still somewhat awkward with most of the members, mainly because he’s sort of just a shy person in general. sure he’s funny most of the time but i dont think he’s ever really had to deal with anything like this with any of the members, so he doesnt really know what to do. he obviously cares but he doesnt really feel like its place to say anything to jaemin except that its okay and that he shouldnt feel bad about it. kun is mostly stuck over the language barrier with this one. i think he’s more open than taeil but he’s still not that fluent in korean so it makes to communicate with most of the members. he just debuted with the group some months ago too so he too doesnt feel like its his place to say anything too serious to jaemin. probably just a pat on the back and some comforting words, though like all the other hyungs he cares about his younger members deeply. 

jaehyun & ten are some of the only members who actually talk to taeyoung about the whole incident and how he scolded jaemin. they both share the idea that while yes, he is a bit young to be doing that sort of thing, that as long as he didnt do anything else then he should just be let off with a warning and maybe even teach him more about relationships as a whole, since he hasn't really had any one to properly teach him about it. i see ten being more blunt than jaehyun about it, and would be less serious in talking to him. "i understand your feelings hyung, but like, jaemins only a kid too- so we really should be there for him and helping him instead of like lecturing him." jaehyun is just more of a gentler person overall, so he'd probably talk to taeyoung more personally about it. he'd listen to hyung's worries and feelings over it, and then try and explain that jaemin is still young, like everyone else has said, and that they should be there to educate rather than punish their dongsaeng. “im concerned about him, too. but taeyoung, he’s never had any one teach him or tell him how these things work, in fact a lot of the younger members dont know too much about specifics of relationships and what to do in them. next time, lets go a little easier on him okay?” taeyoung has probably the most extreme reaction out of all of them, but that’s not without reason. he reacted so harshly at first because he doesn’t want jaemin to face backlash like he did over his past life. he doesnt want any of his members to feel as horribly about himself as he did back then and he’s sure that if this got out to the public jaemin would face the same amount, if not more backlash because of his age. who knows what would happen to him if netizens found out, and who knows if he’d even be let to stay in the company after his year long absense? he wants to get this across to jaemin but i think his emotions got the best of him for his initial response. after the day after the harsh scolding and talking with his other members to calm him down, he’d feel so bad for being as mean as he was to his dongsaeng. he’d sit jaemin down in his room and apologize for being so mean, and more clearly explain his feelings. jaemin completely understands him and promises that he doesnt resent his hyung over this and says he’ll be more careful in the future. they hug it out and its very cute and emo!

stray kids as ur friends (maknae line)

a/n: i love stray kids and i wanted to do some writing for them... so! take this! ill do the hyung line later if you all would like :D - charlotte

stray kids as a whole is a loud group, but you have probably the loudest combination with the maknae line..

your group consists of 6 with you included, the other members being: jeongin, seungmin, felix, jisung, and hyunjin. felix jisung and hyunjin are the loudest and egg on seungmin for sure.. jeongin tries but tbh hes not really a loud person in the first place.

even if you are younger than jeongin, you all treat him like the baby. he doesnt necessarily hate it but he also wants to be seen as manly sometimes too. despite that theres still a running “baby jeongin” gag between you guys.

honestly the most common and probably only place you all hang out in is the park. these boys all enjoy playing in the sun! so theres lots of river side picnics for you all.

that doesnt always mean you pack food though, since youre not the best cook considering... hyunjin probably makes the younger members get food from a convinence store. :( you always go with because you feel bad for them carrying everything.

you try to rush them though because theres no telling what the other 3 will do without you around. one time you came back HORRIFIED because felix and hyunjin had there heads underwater by the river and jisung was just.. staring at his phone excited.

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!”

“oh y/n! welcome back! what flavor ramen did you buy?”

“JISUNG THAT DOESNT ANSWER MY QUESTION!”

“oh y/n hyungjin-hyung and felix-hyung are swimmers, theyre okay!”

“yeah they’re probably just seeing who lasts the longest underwater.”

at that moment hyunjin’s head bursts up from the water with felix seconds after him

“HAHAHA I WON~” “god DAMNIT”

you clear your throat and they look back at you and their faces turn white... they expect an ass beating but you just scold them not to do that again, youre practically shaking from seeing that.

they feel bad and let you take first pick at the ice cream you guys bought :(. hyunjin and felix also make sure to give you BIG HUGS despite you absolutely refusing because of how wet they were. it turned out to be quite refreshing, though. 

other than that incident, you usually have a fun and relaxing time at the park. there's lots of games and talking and once the heat gets over bearing you all pile together under the shade of a small tree, legs intertwined and heads resting on each other's shoulders or laps. you all usually end up taking a nap together. it's.. so soft.

on the opposite end of the spectrum, you sometimes meet up with the boys to play video games and it gets loud. you don't play, not because you're bad or anything but because it's more entertaining to watch and hear them play than play yourself. hyunjin only has 4 controllers anyways, so you get to chat up who ever sat out that round. that is if you can hear them over the other.

"to the baby peach who just red shelled me, you're mom's a HOE."

"die mad about it, fe- JISUNG FUCK YOU I WAS IN FIRST. "

"HAHA YOU SLIPPED ON MY PEEL"

meanwhile seungmin silently enters first place and wins as toad

you and jeongin, who were watching, clap and congratulate him. he deserves it.

the other three are still fighting over who technically won after seungmin. it's cute. 

the things you do change depending on who you're with. if you're with the 3 older members they probably would want to go out all the time. cafes, the mall, maybe even to an open dance studio to dance or karaoke. they can entertain themselves easily at home but they're honestly more fun and talkative when they're out and about, so!

you guys are constantly broke because of all the going out... they ask chan and changbin constantly for money. also felix keeps a bunch of coupons for everything and the others make fun of him for it. it really does help you guys though.

when you're with the younger members though, they prefer to chill at home with you. the most they'll do is go to the park to lay in the sun again. since they're the quite members of your group it's much easier to do relaxing things together. you guys clean, cook, mostly just lay on a couch together, all crowded and talk about random things. you enjoy these breaths of air with them, to say the least. 

your group chat name is “stray boiizz” and they constantly make fun of you for it because you choose it. you, jisung, felix, and hyunjin spam it constantly and honestly youre lucky jeongin and seungmin enjoy it. you guys usually stay up having “deep” conversations on there.

sleep overs are something you do only for special occasions like birthdays because god knows you all will destroy who ever’s house its at.

dont even get me started on cuddle sessions. you know how soft these boys can get. 

soft and emotional, you guys are so close that you arent afraid to cry around each other and its very lovely. its means so much to you that they are so willing to share their feelings. 

seungmin and jeongin need a little bit of patience sometimes since they’re still sort of young and embarrassed about their feelings, but you all do trust, help, and comfort each other whenever you guys can

to put it simply, you guys are like a little, lovely, rowdy family and you cherish every second of it.
