Wasn’t his first time!

"Enki -- There /had/ been something. It arrived only a month after... wrapped up in paper and bound in leather. I haven't dared to open it myself. There is an ominous feel I get whenever my fingers brush it - perhaps it would be something I could deliver to you." (midnight-sun-sacrifice)

“Bring it to me, D’arce. You know where I reside in Rondon’s woods, correct? Follow the path that have been walked upon by only deer and deliver it to me by either today or tomorrow. I will be here.”

He couldn’t muster the strength to admit he was too tired to ever leave home. Nightmares plagued him even when he was awake, eyes staring dead at the nearest wall between sunrise and sunset. The furs wrapped around his body did almost nothing to keep back a foreign, bitter cold.

There’s a part of him that feels as though he never escaped.

"It took me far too long to contact you. I can't imagine that you would like to... discuss the matters that took place back there. I'd like to extend my hand to you, if you /do/ decide that you need it. Tell me, how did you manage escape?" (midnight-sun-sacrifice)

He can tell that the refined letter is from someone with fine calligraphic skills. Halfway through, he nearly crunched the letter between his fingers as memories bombarded his tired mentality. He can barely handle anything after going through those dungeons and recalling even some of it still was so damned painful. 

A letter resent with small writing that looks as though it was written with a quiver in the wrist.

“I do not know. All I can remember is the pain of it all. Sometimes I can see it when I close my eyes and my eyelids strike back memories at me with fire. Sleep is impossible and I have routinely found myself staring off into the distance.

If you find any strange books, please bring them to me. I need something. Something. Anything.

Enki has escaped from the dark dungeons and is receiving letters of questions after rumors have spread that he has survived the dungeons of Fear & Hunger. He has decided to answer a few of them.
