its really hilarious to me how whenever like hardwon or nyack get mad or upset their vocabulary goes up just a notch. like hardwon calling someone craven or nyack calling someone uncouth or whatever. like its one thing for a character like hardwon to call someone a “piece of shit”, but its another level of comedy to me when he like suddenly busts out the “snivelling sycophant”. like their usual vocabulary cant contain the passion inside them lmao

thank you to the edit that brought me back to fig in fhjy saying that sometimes she feels so strongly with love for her friends that she doesn't feel like she exists. what a crazy line of thought that put into words what i've felt for so long but couldn't verbalize it. chest tightens, throat twists, your heart explodes. their lifeblood is the goodness that, in seeing it manifest, has killed you. you could never, ever hope to say it fully, to live up to love that is them. every friend is a reinvention of divine, every breath an act of sacred will. their presence is godly, and you are their witness. how could you survive the rapture? but how could you live if you hadn't? you are their witness, their sacrifice, and unbelievably, their friend. what more to life could there be?
