still thinking about that r/hypotheticalsituation post where someone was like "what if a potato chip spawned somewhere randomly in the world. and every hour the number of potato chips at that location would double. and the only way to get rid of them for good would be to eat all of the potato chips before they doubled again." and someone calculated that it would only take like, 48 hours of people ignoring a weird pile of potato chips before an absolutely irreconcilable number of potato chips was blanketing a city.

and then people were like "no wait if it spawns randomly in the world, it's highly likely it would be in an ocean" and then people were debating whether there were enough small fish swimming at the surface in the open ocean that would be able to eat a potato chip and thus save humanity from the potato chip apocalypse.

the creators of the knives out movies and wes anderson need to get together and make a Clue movie. Not because the original one needs to be “remade” because obviously it does not, because flames… flames on the side of my face… BURNING

but i think a Clue movie would be the PERFECT media to mix wes anderson and knives out. corny, campy, murder mystery. it would be amazing and wes would be so good at all of the details for a murder mystery, and knives out movies have been some fabulous murder mysteries, its meant to be!!

woke up to some thunder and rain today <3 (i have been awake all night and haven’t slept yet)

me and my friend went on a walk through a forest in her new neighbourhood (it has walking trails and she loves it), and she heard a dog barking in the distance and asked "Is that an owl?" and I felt something possess my body.

I stood perfectly still, and listened. I heard the bark and shook my head.

"No, no, that's just a dog." I replied and continued walking.

"How can you tell?" she asked, following behind me.

"I have only seen an owl once, but I heard it before I saw it. IT was one of the most horrifying experiences I have had outdoors. I was walking down a path with my mom while we were camping once and I heard it. It stopped my heart for a second, like some sort of instinct. I turned and looked around me twice before I saw it perched in a tree, and when I saw it I was filled with an odd mix of awe and dread. It was my first time seeing an owl, but it was so large, and it stared. I had never been stared at like that in my life. I felt like it was acutally boring a hole into my soul, but I couldn't look away. It was the scariest and most incredible moment. Trust me, when you hear an owl. You. Will. Know."

She stared at me and I felt my skin become my own again and smiled.

"Yeah, so that's definitely a dog!" I said and skipped down the path to find a piece of flora that I could geek out over.

My roommates got married last week and said today that they’re planning on moving to somewhere else in the city, and asked me to move with them when they do.

Which I appreciate so much, they’re both fantastic roommates and I really don’t want to try and find another place on my own, but also. Jesus Christ what a look. “Hiii we’re the Thompsons, we just moved in down the street, that’s my husband and that’s the ghoul who used to live in our basement”
