If Conrad is not sealed and broke free and died, I think he would be the perfect trump card against Lucius post connecting with the grimoire towers. I don't know how much the extent of his Key Magic, but I imagine it would be the most peak scene of history watching Lucius losing his absolute shit when all the spells of the dead he had gained (fruit of his years long carefully crafted mastermind plan) are stolen effortlessly by Conrad shortly after

As much as I'm being disgusted by what happened (and even more infuriated and hateful on that fucking piece of shit Lucius) in chapter 380, I'm kinda glad the author showed the true color of Lucius' so-called salvation plan instead of staying on the aesthetic angelic makeover + cult brainwashing like what we assumed the paladin conversion is from the start (well because braindead people would look at that and say "you know what, I don't mind if he turned me, doesn't sound so bad")

Those revived paladins are what he gonna do for the rest of humans around the world. Mutating them into horrific abomination and mentally degraded them to the point there's no longer their own self and personality left except the will of Lucius only to make the new perfect equal undying human race

That is his plan all along

So what's your theory, under the assumption that Lucius was 100℅ so sure he could eliminate Asta and didn't foresee his survival post chapter 335 (which was why he decided to send Paladin!Damnatio to disrupt the ritual in Forest of Witches and prevent boy's return), about Lucius taking Damnatio with him while being under radar for more than one year AND is hinted that Lucius turns Damnatio as his first Paladin?

It couldn't be about keeping his true identity a secret, it definitely couldn't be that. Knowing Lucius, he could very much do anything else (kill him, put him in a confinement, erase his memories, etc) to prevent the controversial truth from leaking than both taking Damnatio with him and turning him into a Paladin. Every Paladin has their purpose, either a powerhouse/psychological warfare to deal with certain powerful Clover character(s) or for a specific plan (like the two sent to Land of the Sun with Paladin!Lily)

If Damnatio is turned into Paladin without the intention of him stopping the ritual to bring back Asta, then for what?

I hope I'm not the only one reading through the Final Arc in manga and fanfics and every time the word salvation or world peace is mentioned by Lucius and the Paladins (but heavy on that Messiah complex fucker Lucius), it makes me wanna puke so bad

Headcanon for Zogratis Siblings' type

While canonically both Dante and Vanica desires "strong women" in their own fucked up way, it's safe to say that any women with impressive magic attribute would be Dante's type that he would later possess or collect like exotic birds. As dehumanizing as it sounds, it's actually unsurprisingly realistic cause a lot of misogynist men in real life do see women they find interesting as objects to possess or collect

Vanica, on the other hand, prefers a challenging and strong female opponent who can match her strength, or perhaps exceeding her own and could beat the shit out of her, and gives her rush of dopamine from the fights. Ironically she's a perfect foil for Mereleona yet somehow the mangaka never made them fight or meet each other, but well, I'd prefer Mere with Princia rather than Vanica. Because Vanica, like Dante, does not care about the feelings of their object of obsession. Obvious with how she has no problem hurting Acier's children just so she could fight her seriously (and years later on casually asking Noelle to be her rival when she's the very reason Noelle lost her mother)

Zenon and Julius would be someone who saw and accept them as themselves and not influenced by people's prejudice on them (Zenon) or hindered by the expected respect for their high title and position (Julius).

While the goddamn Lucius would be someone who's highly competent, intelligent, cunning, and super dedicated to their warped righteous idea, which mirrors him to the T. Even better if that person also completely understands his salvation plan and view on humanity

Idk, been thinking that what if Adra is a mix of both Tousen (invested in the goal of the main villain & readily helps the main villain for their goal) and Gin (personal agenda for joining the main villain & last minute betrayal)? But I guess, we could only know in future chapters
