Life for Malina is literally all sunshine and rainbows. As the founder of the Solar Legacy, she is looked up to and remembered positively by many. After all, her most negative trait is being too nice and happy.
She was a literal gift from the gods, and they decided to flaunt that through her name. The family name Inaam means “Gift from the Gods,” reminding her of how she came to be. Her first name was given to her to direct her in her way of life: the name Malina means “sun” or “beam of light.”

Sims 4 Solar Legacy Challenge
* This is challenge involves the use of some packs, but those goals can be ignored if you don’t have that pack. Skip to the heading titled “Generations” if you don’t like reading.*
Tumblr media
Each planet has its own purpose, each being a divine entity with its own stories to tell. The tale of the planets left its mark on the world, and the story became known to the world as the Solar Legacy.
The tale begins with the Sun. Though not a planet, this entity is what brought life to those who followed, allowing them each to thrive. The Sun represents happiness, joy, and friendship. The Sun is emotional and acts based on feelings, which is somethings that attracts the interest of many.
To balance out the emotional Sun, Mercury was born. Mercury is logical and finds joy in piecing things together. The planet is a problem solver and gets things done in an accurate and efficient way.
Venus found itself desiring something different from the planets before as it neared adulthood. Venus came to value love, lust, and money. Venus has always been viewed in a negative light by those who tell the tale, due to what would be considered scandalous behavior in this day and age.
As the planets lives continued on, the universe around them became dim. There was no life, no vibrance, no color. Earth was created to bring life to the universe and leave a way for those after to be able to live beautifully from.
Mars came barreling into the universe full of passion and anger. The planet is one of destruction. Many think the reason as to why was due to the teenage problems Mars once confronted Earth with.
In contrast to Mars, Jupiter was born, as some might say, similar to an angel. Jupiter found itself wanting nothing but happiness for those around it, wishing to heal and help those who found themselves needing it.
While many of the planets chose to focus on bettering themselves or the universe, Uranus found itself want to learn about itself and the space that surrounds it. The planet lives its life exploring the stars and what else is out there in the universe.
Neptune lives a life of calamity and peace, expressing itself with its creations. The planet, unlike the one before, wants to lead a life dedicated to itself. It is a calm, compassionate, dreamy, and inspired planet.
The tale ends with the small and forgotten planet of Pluto. Pluto is the planet that is furthest from the Sun, leaving it cold and bitter. Overshadowed by the glory of the planets who came before it, Pluto lives in anger and despair. Representing death, destruction, and misfortune, it is described as a miserable planet to those who have come in contact with it.

Meet my Animal Crossing Challenge sim!
Her family name comes from the traditional English name Denver, which means “one who belongs to a green valley.” It’s a beautiful name with a beautiful meaning, and she is happy to carry it on.
The name Ela was chosen by her grandmother, and has the simple meaning of “earth.”
After her dear grandmother’s passing, she has chosen to move to the tropical islands of Sulani. She hopes to embrace the beauty of her name and live a life of prosperity from nature, while also hoping to make many new friends along the way.
With nothing but the clothes on her back, the pendant which once belonged to her grandmother, a tent, and 500 simoleons, Ela sets out to begin her new life.

Sims 4 Animal Crossing: New Horizons Challenge
(Scroll down the the heading “Goals” if you don’t like reading.)
Many people know and love this game, so I thought, “Hey, why not bring it to the Sims 4?”
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a game without a set goal, but a basic idea of how it is played and what you have to do in order to survive and prosper. It is set on an island with many friends and some foes. It is a happy and simple game that anyone can enjoy.
A sims challenge based on another game may seem odd to some, but I think it will be quite fun. Especially for those who cannot afford to buy a Nintendo Switch.
The goal of this challenge is to exist as if you are the character from the game. You will expand your house, develop your island, and meet many new friends.
While this challenge can be done in base game, I personally recommend the use of the following packs: Island Living, Seasons, Get to Work, Cats and Dogs, City Living, and Outdoor Retreat. I will explain the purpose of each of these packs in depth as the post goes on, but none of these are absolutely needed.
Setting Things Up
Creating your Sim: make a young adult with any trait and aspiration.
Gameplay Settings: I recommend setting your lifespan to long, turning all auto age off, and (if you have seasons) changing the season length to either 14 or 28 days.
Finding a Lot: Just like the character from the game, you begin on your own deserted island. If you have Island Living, choose the empty island lot by the volcano. If you have Cats and Dogs, bulldoze the lot with the lighthouse. If you do not have Island Living or Cats and Dogs, choose any lot and bulldoze it.
Gameplay
The game play for this challenge is heavily self sufficient.
Moving In: If you have Outdoor Retreat, purchase a tent and place it anywhere on your lot. If you do not have Outdoor Retreat, build a 3x3 box with nothing but a door and a roof.
Getting your Income: Money can only be made by selling the things you find, create, or grow. This includes plants, seashells, frogs, fish, paintings, and wood sculptures. You can sell these things through you inventory, the mail, at the flea market/your own stand (City Living), or through a retail store (Get to Work). If you choose to use the retail store, you can never restock your inventory.
Goals
Fishing level 10
Gardening level 10
Flower Arranging level 6  (Seasons)
Painting level 7
Handiness level 8
Have 1 good friend
Have 3 friends
Rules
Start off with only a tent (Outdoor Retreat) or a 3x3 box with a door and a roof on a bulldozed lot. I recommend the island in Sulani (Island Living) or Brindleton Bay (Cats and Dogs) if you have those packs.
After you have your starting tent, leave yourself with only 500 simoleons.
Only expand your house after reaching 15,000 simoleons.
Make money only by selling what you collect, find, or create.
No cheating besides what was listed. (But I can’t stop you if you do.)
Cheats Needed
to open the cheat text box - press ctrl+shift+c to open it and close it. The box will appear in the top left corner of your screen.
Bulldozing Lots - type “testing cheats on” and press enter, then type “freerealestate on” and press enter again. Choose the lot you want to move into and bulldoze it.
500 simoleons - type “testing cheats on” and press enter, then type “money 500″ and press enter again.
