Barbie Legacy Challenge
Hey peoples!! I wanted to have another go at a legacy challenge and wanted to give the Barbie one by @sims-himbo a try! Go check out their page for the rules! So, lets meet our first Barbie!
Barbie La Land has decided to settle down in Oasis Springs, she wants a fresh start to find someone to have a family with. Unfortunately her ex wasn't Kenough. Barbie is clumsy, family oriented, a homebody and housewife and also hot and lactose intolerant (yet she insists on eating dairy).

SIMS 4- Bookstan Legacy Challenge
General Rules:
It’s a 10 generation legacy based on the characters and books;
Of course, spoilers from the books and sagas (Divergent, Folk of Air, Harry Potter, Magisterium, The Hunger Games, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Heroes of Olympus,  Caraval, Once Upon a Broken Heart, Princess of Ash, Red Queen and The Maze Runner) are going to exist, you can skip the generation if you haven’t read the book;
If you are going to skip a generation, you can read the “Next Gen. Preparation” section of the generation you are skipping and swap it with the main “Next Gen. Preparation” section to be prepared for the generation you want, not the one you ignore;
Cheats are allowed for storytelling only;
Mods are also allowed, (for this challenge I recommend mcc command center, fairies x witches and maybe extreme violence);
The genders does not need to be the same as the character;
Not all the aspiration, skills and careers need to be max out, it will be tagged when you need and when you don’t
The worlds tagged in are only suggestions, you can change it;
Feel free to change the rules if you don’t have the necessary pack or for any other reason;
Generation 1 - Tris Prior (Divergent):
        Your parents are simple and altruistic people. Perfect examples of Abnegation, your faction. But, you're not like that, you're different, you're divergent. When your time comes, you choose Dauntless as your faction, and become a new person, a stronger person.
Traits: Proper; Perfectionist and Adventurous (they represent the three factions you could belong to as a divergent);
Aspiration: Fisiculturist (before the change to Dauntless, must be Friend of the World, but you don't need to complete it);
Career: Militar;
Skills: Fitness;
World: Willow Creek (there´are 5 regions in Willow Creek, each one could be one of the factions, but that's totally optional, only for immersion and storytelling);
Other Rules: 
Start as a teenager girl or younger;
Must have a brother;
Until you´re a YA, you must never look in the mirror and use gray colored and simple clothes
When you became a young adult, you should leave to Dauntless (now you can wear every clothes you want)
Complete the aspiration and maximize the fitness skill;
Must be betrayed somehow by your brother;
Next Gen. Preparation:
Sleep with an fairy a single night (you can use a spellcaster, vampire, use mods to create a fairy or only simulate it) and get pregnant;
Marry a human and have twins (one of then will be the heir, you can cheat for it)
Be murdered, as well as your partner, by the fairy you slept with, when the twins become toddlers;
Generation 2 - Jude Duarte (Folk of Air):
        Your parents were murdered by a mythical sim that kidnaps you and your siblings. You discover that your older sibling is a fairy, descendant from the guy that kidnapped you. He creates you to be a warrior, but a certain cruel prince torment your whole life. You wanted so much to be a soldier, but that is denied to you, so you become a spy;
Traits:  Self-Assured, Loner, Genius;
Aspiration: Leader of the Pack;
Career: Secret Agent and Politician (don't need to max it);
Skills: Motor (child), Charisma; 
World: Tartosa (the habitants must be fairies);
Other Rules: 
Start as a toddler;
Maximize the motor skill as a child and the charisma one.
As a teen, be bullied by the prince/princess;
Fall in love with a guy (cannot be a fairy), that at the end up marries your twin and leaving Tartosa (preserve this two, they will be important);
As a YA, enter in a club of spies called Marauders, with only 3 other sims, they will be your only friends;
When the cruel prince/princess become the king/queen, become your meneschal (enter in politician career)
Fall in love with bully, now a king/queen;
Be exiled
Marry the wicked king, and become the ruler of the fairies realm;
Next Gen. Preparation:
When your only baby is born (he must me a spellcaster) run of Tartosa and go to another world;
Be murdered, like your partner, by a evil wizard;
Generation 3 - Harry Potter (Harry Potter):
        Your parents ended up dead in a car accident. At least that's what you thought...  You discover that you are a wizard, and receive a letter to the renowned Hogwarts school of magic. Between that and living with your wicked uncle and aunt, you don't hesitate.
Traits:  Engaged, Hot-headed, 
Aspiration: Potion Master;
Career: Police (don't need to max it);
Skills: None; 
World: Anyone, but Tartosa and Willow Creek;
Other Rules: 
Start as a baby;
Must have a scar;
Be created by the twin of one of your parents, doing all the domestic stuff;
Go to Hogwarts everyday (Realm of Magic) as a teen;
Discover that you are famous when you go to the wizard world (cheat for it); 
Buy a wand, a broom and a familiar;
Learn all mischiefs spells and potions;
Complete the aspiration;
Have two best friends, a genius and a glutton;
One of the Marauders must be a traitor, the other two should be your allies. At least when they are alive (they have to be murdered by the evil spellcaster);
Fall in love with your best friend's sibling;
A war has to start
At the end of the generation, must have won the evil wizard in a duel;
Next Gen. Preparation:
After marry, have a single children;
Your partner must die in the wizard war;
After this, you create your heir as a normal human, hating and fearing the magic;
After dying, the evil wizard leave your twin, who try to revive him;
Generation 4 - Callum Hunt (Magisterium):
        Magic is evil. Wizards are evil. That was what your parent said. In your Iron Challenge, a judgment to see who is going to enter the Magisterium, you do your best to be denied, but that’s not what happened. You are accepted. So, you start to doubt whether magic is really bad
Traits:  Socially Awkward, Dog Lover, Clumsy;
Aspiration: Spellcraft and Sorcery;
Career: None;
Skills: Mischief and Pet Training; 
World: Anyone but the ones you lived before;
Other Rules: 
Start as a teen;
Maximize the pet training skill, and get at least level five in mischief;
Go to the Magisterium everyday as a teen; 
Use a wolf (dog) as you familiar;
Learn all the practice and untame spells;
Have two close friends, a proper and a perfectionist;
Don’t use wands or broom;
Fall in love with one of your best friends;
The other friend has to die;
Discover that your soul is the soul of the Enemy of Death (twin of the evil wizard that killed your grandparents), this will not change you at all, is just for storytelling; 
Use magic to bring your friend to life in other body (basically, bring him back and change his appear in cas);
At the end of teenagehood, go to the Britchester University (you can choose the subject, as well as your career); 
Next Gen. Preparation:
After marry, have a two human children (the oldest is our heir);
Abandon the magic; 
Leave to a poor world;
Die in a work accident

Sims 4 Generation Challenge
Generation 1: Tomb Raider: You love learning about your history and discovering what lies beneath the earth. Ever since you became a teen you have had an uncanny ability to sniff out artifacts. You take your passion for history to university where you get a degree in Art History and become an art critic. But you feel like you need to be more adventurous so you take vacations to Selvadorada, where you raid tombs and collect artifacts. While collecting artifacts you fall in love with a woman who shows you how to appreciate not only art but the environment. 
Sim Characteristics: Werewolf Traits: Adventurous, Loves Outdoors, Art Lover  Aspiration: Curator  Skills: Ability to sniff out artifacts Rules:  1. Go to University for Art History 2. Collect all Moonwood Mill Artifacts  3. Collect all Selvadorada Artifacts  4. Complete Aspiration
 Generation 2: Nepotism Baby: While growing up you were always surrounded by art and artifacts that were collected by your father, and you have a genuine appreciation for the arts. You start painting and singing as a child that your mom pushes you to start acting. You become a famous actress, and in your spare time, you create a museum for all of the artifacts that your father collected. Once you are an adult you realize you're missing an aspect of your personal life, so you decide to adopt a baby girl. 
Aspiration: Master Actor Traits: Outgoing, Ambitious, Music Lover  Rules:  1. Complete Aspiration  2. Max out Acting Skill  3. Max out Singing Skill
 Generation 3: Love Story: Being adopted by a famous mom you were alone quite a bit and did not have many friends growing up except one boy, as teens your best friend moves in, and you start writing music. During high school your best friend is athletic and the captain of the football team, while you kept to yourself. After high school, you and your best friend move into a tiny home, where you can no longer deny your feelings for your best friend. You work up the courage to ask your best friend on a date and you have a gold metal date. You get married only after 2 dates and have triplets before becoming adults. You then decide to be a stay-at-home mom while your now husband is in the military. 
Aspiration: Musical genius  Traits: Perfectionist, Music Lover, Loner Rules: 1. Complete Aspiration  2. Max out 2  Instrument skills (Guitar, Violin, Piano)  3. Max out Parenting Skill 
Generation 4: Whole New World: Being the middle child even though you and your siblings are triplets you always felt like you were forgotten and not the greatest at anything except having a green thumb. Feeling lost in life you decide to move to Evergreen Harbor to find your passion and try to make a difference and find your passion in conservationism. You have your own garden and once you get promoted to Wildlife Technician you move to Sulani to improve their neighborhood. Here you fall in love with a sim who shows you the sea and all that it has to offer, above and under the water.  
Aspiration: Beach Life Traits: Loves Outdoors, Child of the ocean, Active Rules: 1. Complete Aspiration Max out Gardening 2. Max out Fishing  3. The sim that you fall in love with must be a Mermaid 
Generation 5: Anatomy of Tinkering: As a child, you were very active and loved swimming and playing in the water, but as a teen, you found your love for handiness. You always seem to be able to fix things with ease. So, when you go to University you decide to become an engineer, and after university, you move to Windenburg and build a robot. While there you meet a single mom who is a doctor. You always go over to repair things here is where the sparks fly and you move in with her and her toddler. You propose and have a backyard wedding. You build them a house in Brindleton Bay and have another baby. 
Aspiration: Nerd Brain  Traits: Geek, Maker, Active Rules: 1. Complete Aspiration  2. Build a Robot  3. Max out Handiness  4. Move to Brindleton Bay once married  5. Have one kid together 6. Women that you marry must be: Single, Have a baby/ infant when you first meet her and Must be a Doctor
Generation 6: Dr.Doo-Little: Growing up in Brindleton Bay you were around cats and dogs so much you never thought about doing anything but becoming a vet. You decide to open your own Vet Hospital and you own a cat, dog, hedgehog, and fish. Your house is full of fur that you constantly have to vacuum. You work constantly and have a 5-star vet hospital. One day women bring in their animal (cat or dog) to your vet you lock eyes and you instantly feel a connection. You both are not sure about having kids but your half-sibling sends their teen to come live with you for the summer but ends up staying.
Aspiration: Friend of the Animals  Traits: Dog Lover, Cat Lover, Cheerful  Rules: 1. Own a Cat 2. Own a Dog  3. Own a Hedgehog  4. Own a Fish  5. Marry a sim who already has an animal too  6. Have your niece or nephew move in when they are a teen (must have bad grades and a troublemaker) 
Generation 7:Game Plan: Having a rough childhood, once you move in with your Aunt when you are a teen your whole life changes. You went from having bad grades and sneaking out to parties to getting better grades (B or higher), and learning how to explain your feelings without being disrespectful. You decide to help other kids who had a bad childhood be more independent. So you go to University for Language and Literature and become a private Attorney. You then move to San Sequoia and be friends with your co-workers, where you focus on focus on your job and complete the fabulously wealthy aspiration until  You then have a one-night stand and end up having a baby dropped off at your door 9 months later. You do your best as a parent and when they start school you fall in love with their teacher. 
Aspiration: 1st Fabulously Wealthy then once they meet the teacher aspiration changes to Soul Mate  Traits: Romantic, Perfectionist, Materialistic Rules: 1. Complete Fabulously Wealthy Aspiration  2. Complete Soul Mate Aspiration  3. Max out Charisma Skill  4. Max out Research and Debate Skills  5. Women, you fall in love with must be a teacher and have no kids 
Generation 8: Who can you trust? : Having a Teacher for a mom and a Lawyer for a father I was always taught to question things, and the biggest question in my life is my biological mom. I never knew anything about her and my father doesn’t talk about her…EVER. Is she still alive? Why did she leave me behind? Having all these questions I decide to become a detective, to search for my biological mother. Along the way, I stumble across a criminal who claims to know who my mother is and can help me find them. 
Aspiration: Friend of the World Traits: Genius, Good, Paranoid, or Observant  Rules: 1. Complete Friend of the World Aspiration  2. Become Best Friends with a criminal and have a kid with them 3. Never meet the biological mom  4. Max out Research and Debate Skills  5. Max out Logic Skill 
Generation 9: Criminal Minds: Having a mom who was paranoid and always looking over her shoulder, made you nervous around a lot of people. You spent most of your line alone and were happiest when it was you and your computer. Having a criminal of a father meant he used your computer skills for evil. He made you hack and steal while your mom was at work. Once you were able to leave you left but they seemed to follow you to use your skills so, you went off the grid and went to live in the woods. You move to a small town where you meet a woman who knows nothing about computers and has never been to the city. You fall for her hard and adopt her Wellness lifestyle.
`Aspiration: Computer Whiz  Traits: Geek, Loner, Clumsy Rules:  1. Complete Aspiration  2. Max out Programing Skill  3. Max out Wellness Skills once you live alone in the woods  4. Have a negative Relationship with your parents 
Generation 10: Witchy Diaries: Having parents who were very into Wellness you had no choice but to also have a high skill in wellness. Though you never felt like it actually was helpful and you always found comfort in the sciences. You love learning about how things are made and what makes up everything. So you join the scientist career and move to the desert to be closer to work. You quickly advance your career and find out that you might have found out how to become immortal. You become friends with a botanist who seems to be able to make flowers grow out of the ground. You fall in love with her and she shares her secrets and gives you the greatest gift of life to spend together.
Aspiration: Nerd Brain  Traits: Genius, Ambitious, and Overachiever  Rules:  1. Complete Aspiration  2. Only live in Stangerville or Oasis Springs  3. End up on a large lot with a large house  4. Become friends and marry a spell caster  5. Have the spell caster make the potion of immortality and have your sim drink it

Unleashing the centuries 
Do you hate when you’re playing with Sims but get bored easily? Do you want to go through each century and see how the Sims could’ve been in the old times?
 Boy, then I have a challenge for you
Welcome to Centuries Legacy Challenge, a generation challenge that focuses on the different eras and new ways to learn about the centuries 
Required mods:

Basic rules:
1.each heir must represent the colour of the generation (I.e. hair, makeup, clothing) you may use any clothing you want but we suggest downloading clothing for each century 
2. The colour of the spouse doesn’t matter as they aren’t part of the challenge 
3.money cheats can’t be used though you can use the freerealestate for your first home but nothing after that 
4. you may live wherever you please unless something is specified in the rules of a generation 
5. every generation is supposed to complete both the career and aspiration of the heir unless explicitly stated otherwise

My friend @lifea16 and I created this challenge after seeing the not-so-berry challenge and thought we could create our own but based on centuries. We wanted to make a challenge that includes stuff we’ve never tried before in the sims4. Hopefully, everyone can enjoy the challenge as much as we do.

Barbie Legacy Episode 1

Barbie was so excited to start this new chapter in her life. She had moved away from her family to try and find her own way. Her goal in life was to have a beautiful family, so she really needed to find someone to achieve that dream with. She decided the best way for her to meet somebody without any real connections in town was to try a dating app…
B: “Oh boy, here we go. My parents would be so disappointed if they saw me looking for my future husband online. No time like the present!”
Barbie starts swiping when she suddenly comes across a Very handsome man named June Yokoyama. He looks familiar, as in she knows his face but can’t think of where she knows him from. She swiped yes and it is an instant match!!

June: “Yea this one time I wanted to compliment the head cheerleader of my class, she was so beautiful. I really wanted to ask her to prom, but we’d spoken less than 50 words our whole highschool career, I counted! I worked up the nerve though, and was approaching her to ask when one of her friends tripped me. They all laughed at me, but the head cheerleader, she looked so sad.” 
June has a look of wonder on his face, and maybe a hint of…joy?
Barbie can’t understand why June would recall that memory and then it starts to click…
Highschool, she was head of cheer. She was generally nice to everyone but there was this one nerd that almost always wore Batman clothes, always bad acne though…Oh, shit.
Barbie could feel her cheeks getting red and her palms were sweaty, she knows June!! He was that nerd!!
B: “I-I’m so sorry June but, I need to go.”
With that she flees their first date. Leaving June quite sad, but also maybe hopeful there will be another time to recover their lost years? 😭
His friend Garrett on the other hand has some not so encouraging thoughts to share with June. 🤬
G: “June, you could do so much better! She just ran away from your first date!! She doesn’t care about you!!”
J: “Garrett just chill, that was probably a really tough realization for her. She’s changed, became more humble and kind. I still really like her.”
Garrett rolls his eyes and huffs 😒

Sims 4.... Crash but not burnt?
Well well well.... it's been almost a month since I've had to do a complete reinstall of SIMS4.....
Last night I was working on a little project in Sims- a challenge sent to me by a friend of mine- and .... KABOOM! Down goes Sims. But I was expecting it: yesterday all sorts of weirdness was happening, things flying around the lot, windows vanishing themselves, and a river that just refused to be a river! .... I was beginning to think I'd picked a lot with a resident poltergeist!!! I wish I'd thought to put on my screen recorder- it would have made an excellent blooper vid!
So after having to reinstall the EA Games app last week, now I've just had to do the big save all my mods and save files, trash the program, re-download Sims 4 again.... now putting all my files back and crossing fingers and toes that it's working now!
By the way, this is the "challenge" image my friend sent me to build for her :D

Sims 4: zombie apocalypse challenge
A nuclear explosion has resulted in strange zombie like traits infecting billions of people. Help your sims survive in the wasteland. This is just a fun challenge i made up while playing the sims I hope you enjoy :)
Also I might share my builds or sims for this challenge a bit later, I'm very proud of them.
Getting started:
In CAS:
Create a family of 2 or more sims. both big and small families have different advantages and disadvantages in this challenge. Make sure that at least 2 of the sims will be able to reproduce, as you cant meet other sims in the first generation. if the family has children, make sure the heir is a toddler. This family are your survivors. The goal of the challenge is to survive 10 generations, the 10th generation having the cure for the infection. All sims must have two day outfits: a regular one for inside the bunker, and a fully concealed outfit that is used for venturing into the outside world. toddlers and children dont have any appropriate facecoverings, so they cannot be outside for longer then an hour. (unless you have cc) Pets are allowed, but it may make the game more challenging in the first few generations.
In Build mode:
Give yourself unlimited money (unless you want an extra challenge) and build a home. it doesnt have to be furnished, but make sure you have a ladder or stairway downstairs to a bunker. This is where your sims will survive.
Decorate the bunker however you want but keep in mind these restrictions for the first generation:
1. you must make the stairway or ladder in a seperate enclosed room. The air outside is toxic, you cant let it into the rest of the bunker.
2. you may only have 4 rooms starting out, excluding the ladder/staircase room.
3. you must put all the beds in one room.
4. the lot must be off the grid.
5. no electronics, including the off the grid tablet.
6. no carpet or wooden floor. the floor must be dirt, but you can use cardboard or newspaper to cover it.
After you have completed building, exit build mode and set your money to zero. put all sims in the basement and then lock the door to the ladder or stairs room. this can only be unlocked for one sim at a time, whilst they are wearing their outside clothes.
The zombies:
There is two options for zombies:
1. Easy to difficult. Start with 1 household of any number of zombies. each generation of survivors adds an extra zombie household.
2. difficult to easy. start with 10 households of zombies, each generation of survivors deletes one household.
Zombies can look any way, but make sure you can differentiate them from normal sims. if your sim interacts with a zombie, is too near a zombie (you can decide the distance for your own difficulty level) or gains any relationship with one while away from the lot, they will become a zombie, therefore being removed from your household. if all your household members are zombies, you fail the challenge.
Zombies must have one of the following traits:
Evil
Glutton
Hates children
Slob
Gloomy
Loner
Now that you have a survivor family and zombie/s family, you may start gameplay. Remember that sims must survive by gathering vegetables and fruit in the wild. you may also have a garden on your lot. You may only prepare a meal if you have money for it, otherwise gathered food only.
Generation 1: Surviving
This generation believes they are the only survivors. They forage and grow food in their garden outside, but otherwise stay tucked away in their bunker. No sim may have a job or go to school. Money may be earned through selling collected items, or crafting something on a woodworking table. A woodworking table can also be used to create furniture for your sims.The main goal of this generation is to expand the bunker so each sim can live comfortably, ideally having a room to themselves. Wooden floor may be earned by maxing out the handiness skill.This generation is completed once the heir becomes a teenager.
Generation 2: contact
Create another survivor family. place them somewhere in the world.You cannot travel to this families home, but once your family runs into the other family, you can befriend them. This makes your sims realise they are not alone, and you can now bring other sims into your family to marry, as well as having the ability to make friends.This generation ends after the heir becomes a teenager.
Generation three: thriving
Survivors all across the sims world have a tight knit community. bunkers can now have carpet and wood floors with no requirements. sims may visit other sims bunkers if they are low on needs that cannot be fufilled in your bunker for any reason. eg borrowing a meal from your neighbours if low on money and supplies. You may also pickpocket to earn money.This generation ends once the heir is a teenager.
Generation 4: the air is clearing
It is less toxic to be outdoors, the radiation is beginning to clear. Sims may now go outdoors without protective clothing for up to 5 hours. Beware of the zombies. Sims may now have a career as a gardener or labourer. if your sim befriends a zombie at work, they become a zombie. Bring your sim home from work after 5 hours each day.
Generation 5: outside
The radiation is at a liveable level. Sims may venture outside the bunker and live in their house. Make sure all the doors are locked, sims still are only allowed out when you decide. Still no school, but sims may now work as a criminal, and can work for a full day. Your house must still be off the grid.This generation ends when the heir is a child.
Generation 6: back to normal?
Life has returned to a semi normal state. No power or running water, but simkind is making do. Sims can now work as buisness people, lawyers, babysitters, waiters, entertainers, and teachers. Sims may now go to school, befriending a zombie at school means they are a zombie. this generation ends when the heir is a toddler.
Generation 7: a new threat
The government has fallen to anarchy. things were looking up for the world, but something has destroyed it again. your heir must now live in the remains. School costs 50 dollars per day. Sims may only work as spies or criminals. All sims born in this generation must age up with either the unflirty, loner, or non commital. create a household of law enforcement. if a sim runs into law enforcement while any need is below green, they are in the criminal or spy career, or they have anything in their inventory, they will be arrested and removed from the household.This generation ends when the heir is a teenager.
Generation 8: a new hope
Your sim has had enough. They are sick of how messed up the government has gotten. They decide they are going to fix everything. Heir must join the politics career and reach level 10 in the politician branch, becoming the national leader. if you dont have city living, reach level 10 in the spy career. after becoming the leader, things improve. school is free, all jobs are available, law enforcement household may be deleted. You can also move your household to a fancier lot, fit for the president. Unfourtunately, zombies are still a threat to your population, and although you kill them when you can, there is always more hiding where you cant see. Generation ends when the heir is a teenager.
Generation 9: curing the apocalypse
Your sim is living a peaceful life. electricity has returned, they have plenty of friends, plenty of food. but zombies. theyve lost a couple friends or family members to zombies, they desperately want a cure. but no one is working on it. So your sim makes it their life goal to be the one who figures it out. Join the secret agent career. reach level 10, diamond agent branch. (if you have get to work you could also join the scientest career instead) Once this has been completed, visit a zombie household with protective gear and some sort of food item. gift the food item, and "cure" the zombies in CAS.generation ends once sim has completed the career and had an heir.
Generation 10: peace
The last zombies are dwindling out. This generation has no restrictions other then staying away from zombies. if they do become a zombie, they only need to get to the "cure" item without interacting with family. Each week, (if doing easy to difficult) delete or "cure" one of the zombie households untill none are left. if doing difficult to easy, cure the last zombie household. live in peace.
