The problem is I hate romantic/sexual Erik/Raven so much but their relationship in a platonic way is so genuinely compelling to me. He was the only one who saw her and loved her for what she was, not in spite of what she was. He was the one who helped her blossom into her own person, who gave her the space to actually be who she was and not what someone wanted her to be.

That little speech about would a tiger hide their stripes? Actually so sweet
