A while ago, I made a playlist for Aéras! I decided it was time to do one for Avarís too. And so, here is both Aéras (updated) and Avarís's playlists respectively! These are songs that inspired the story behind them both. That's all!

Someone had asked me why I've chosen tumblr over other sites, and I thought I would make it a post here as well-likely to just hand over this link the next time someone asks me!! Because out of the currently available main sites, tumblr is so far-BY far, my favorite one to use!!

The reasons for this are!!;

♡➤ tumblr is just a very very creative space. There are tons of inspiration around every corner, with people always trying new things, and coming up with new ideas, and sharing all different kinds of xiv content-typically with a lot of skill and passion behind it. The same can be said for other sites too, but I've personally found that the xiv community on tumblr is just a bit more creative to me. For sure a LOT more inspiring-it is a very chill place to embrace your cringe. ♡➤ If you mess up, you can always edit. This one is a huge one for me, because I always always look back on something I've posted and wish that I could adjust it. Sites like twitter or bsky-once you post it, that's it, you're stuck. You have to delete it, or just post it again. Whereas with tumblr, you can always go back and edit it at any time. You can always swap out or add in more images, more text, a video-you mostly are in full control here. Which I tend to need a lot. ♡➤ The image and video quality are typically quite nice. Twitter and bsky crunch the living daylights out of quality-essssspecially with video, and it drives me nutsNUTS!! tumblrs video system isnt PERFECT, but so far I enjoy it a lot more than elsewhere. ♡➤ I love the tagging system here, tagging on tumblr has always been fun. I love adding a bajillion tags and it not showing up right next to my post like on other sites, but rather under it, and from my page mostly not even SEEN. I like that the tags have endless amounts of space to ramble with, and I also like seeing people rant or nerd out via their tags too. ♡➤ Tagging part 2; For You page boogaloo!! I love that I can compile allllll these little tags into my big list, and just see everything I love right there in once place, or even in separate places! Other sites dont have that, or if they do, its really funky to get around. I want to like a bunch of stuff, and see it alll at once! ♡➤ I like that I have the choice between sharing my likes, or keeping them secret ♡➤ I like that I can customize my page!! This is sooooooo oldschool, but I really really missed being able to have a cool customized page with little graphics, and maybe music, and anything else I could think of. I like having the control over the look and feel of my page, and not being forced into having a uniform profile exactly like everyone else's!! ♡➤ I like the "ask" message and comment systems! I don't use them that much right now, but I appreciate that they're there, and that I don't have to use some other site or app just to ask or answer a little question if need be, and how we can just leave little comments on posts as well!! ♡➤ I love that I can add music to posts! Or any other link for that matter, I can just link whatever the heck I'm talking about onto some words instead of having to do a separate post to share that! ♡➤ I loove the mass editor!! I love that I can just open up the archive and mass private or delete whatever I'm not vibing with anymore in an instant, instead of it being some long drawn out process, as well as being able to mass add or remove tags!! ♡➤ And overall, I just really love the xiv community here. I love all the art, all the pretty and well thought out screenshots, I love the stories, the writings, the player driven events, and prompts-it's just sooo much here that I don't think is anywhere else to this extent. It's very relaxed, it's very 'at your own pace' feeling, everyone is quite welcoming and kind!!, and I don't at all get the complex feelings that I often get on other sites. I always feel happy and pumped to post here, which is something that I wasn't feeling when I posted elsewhere. tumblr doesn't tend to have as much negative attention as other places can, and I love that I can just post whatever mushy cringe I want, and not have to worry about how another may feel, or take or twist it, or..no issues with parasocial behavior here, just overall a very freeing experience compared to elsewhere!

Ok, well THAT was a TON of reasons! But yeah! So, while I do have a bsky too, tumblr is mainly my priority now. I think bsky is fun to post in the moment spam on, but like deeper stuff I just love to share here. I am excited feeling! To share here, so. Ok, then that is all!!

Position: Daimon, sent to provide small miracles and reasonable adjustments to fate. Aéras now lives on Etheirys disguised as an Augur, quietly fulfilling his assignments while attempting to fit into modern society seamlessly.

✧ Relation to Avarís in life: Lover ✧ Relation to Avarís Post-Ascension: Commander. In death, all prior memories of life were erased.

★ Pairing Impression: Aéras largely finds his pairing to Avarís to be a vexing thorn in his side stifling his ability to have much, if any, fun. Always on the lookout for a quick, quiet escape, Aéras often takes advantage of opportunities to slip away from Avarís's close watch and enjoy the perks of modern mortal life, in ways he wonders if he did in life's past. Occasionally, Aéras can sense what appears to be a strange tension between the two. At times he wonders it's cause, but more often than not, he waves it away as simple hunger or exhaustion, on Avarís's part.

Cause of life's death: Unknown.

Position: Agathodaemon, recently assigned to provide protection to Aéras.

✧ Relation to Aéras in life: Lover ✧ Relation to Aéras Post-Ascension: Consort, ???. In death, all memories of life prior were preserved.

★ Pairing Impression: Avarís strives to do in his after-life what he failed to do in his mortal life, and that is to fiercely protect Aéras. While the bratty nature of his former beloved often leaves him irate and tired, he finds no greater purpose than to always be near his cherished other. As part of rule to keep this position, Avarís must never restore any part of Aéras's memories. In order to stay by Aéras's side, Avarís must never show his true feelings toward Aéras.

◍ By virtue of the two once being twin-flames in life, in death their souls remained as intricately tied. Should one ever be downed for any extreme reason, the other would swiftly follow. This loads risk for Avarís, as if anything were ever to occur to both of them at once, Aéras would immediately turn suspicious as to the true meaning of their bond.
